Hotel Kelkheimer Hof cannot be compared to some of the large, glossy, sophisticated hotels we stayed in on this trip. Some might see it as a tad dated. I prefer to see this small family owned, modest hotel as timeless. It is simply reflective of the small town it is situated in. Our room was comfortable, clean, quiet and provided everything we needed. The staff was well meaning and helpful in any way they could be from carrying our bags up to allowing old friends to join us for coffee on the house. The breakfast area felt gemutlich. The small breakfast buffet was sufficient and almost had a family, intimate feel to it. I would stay there again.

Room, breakfast and service ok, price / performance ratio too, an elevator would be pleasant, especially when checking in with heavy luggage. Unfortunately a bit annoying: the sometimes shouting and noisy guests late and late at night, both in the hotel and in the outdoor area of ​​the restaurant "Die Lounge", which is located in the same building.

I was there in March 2018. Clean and spacious room. Friendly staff. Affordable price, hotels in central Frankfurt were indeed too expensive. It is about ten minutes walk from the station where there are trains that take you to the center of Frankfurt in about half an hour!
