Berghotel Hohegeiß in Braunlage

Very nice small Family hotel, rooms are clean and comfortable. Good regulations conform covid. Which unfortunately caused the terras to be closed. But very helpfull hostess! Thanks again for your effort in helping us!!! Very much appreciated!

October 2022 we spent a week looking for peace and beautiful autumn colors in the forests and mountains of De Harz. What a great environment. We were amazed in the cities of Goslar, Quedlinburg, among others, we walked over the longest suspension bridge in Europe and went with a steam train to the Brocken (highest mountain Harz). We stayed all week in Han and Anja's lovely Berghotel who took very good care of us. They received us warmly and had a beautiful room for us with great views over the fields, forests and mountains. Lovely beds, good bathroom with plenty of space and toilet. Fully equipped. Parking in front of the hotel is also very nice. Breakfast was delicious and ample with daily changing choices. We will definitely come back, next time see the forests and cities in the summer or….

It is a simple hotel but run with love. We stayed there for one night as we were passing through and were warmly welcomed. Our room was clean and bright. The bathroom is a bit dated but serves its purpose. Our breakfast was prepared with a lot of love, since there were not many guests in the house, breakfast was brought directly to the table and there was enough choice. I was very happy about the fresh fruit. Thank you for the kindness. Keep it up :)

We stayed at the Berghotel Hohegeiss for a long weekend and really enjoyed our stay. We felt welcome from start to finish and enjoyed the tranquility of the area. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are nicely designed and very clean. We particularly liked the varied breakfast, with which the hostess put a lot of effort. There was fruit, vegetables, cheese, eggs, jam, a wide selection of fresh rolls and all coffee specialties. The breakfast room was also very invitingly designed, so that one was happy to stay a little longer with a beautiful view. I can only recommend the stay, it was certainly not our last visit here.

Had three nights at the Berghotel in Hohegeiss. Really worth to stay, happy to share my experience here.

Hotel is in a beautiful location with beautiful views, really 'wow'. I had the balcony room so also the option to sit outside and watch the stars.

Nice room with comfortable beds and a spacious bathroom. Separate hall with cupboards was handy. Nicely decorated too.

Breakfast was more than complete, all kinds of breads, spreads, cheese, meats, jam. You name it. Also a homemade 'kuchen' as a sweet treat.

Dutch host and hostess are super friendly and hospitable. In addition to the good care, also a nice conversation. I was not short of anything during my visit! Thanks for that!

Definitely a place to stay again, in winter also seems nice to me.
