Stayed two nights while returning from Hamburg / Baltic Sea to enjoy the Südheide / Lüneburger Heide - rooms were well equipped and staff friendly - breakfast was delicious and with big variety - swimming pool and saune facilty rather disappointing - sufficient parking around hotel however with a daily charge

Room doors have a bizarre and totally unnecessary beep when opening: you can clearly hear when neighbours come into their room. This could be quite disturbing. Breakfast was fine, including yoghurt and fruits.

Sensationally good cuisine with nice, attentive service. If you are lucky you can watch the riders in the hall while eating. For us as mobile home owners, this is also great with overnight stays and, if necessary, even with electricity.

Really good place to stay, I enjoyed the nice spa and the marvelous 3-course dinner afterwards. Easily of one the best places I’ve stayed at during my trips by car, through Germany.😊

Amenities in the room, room very silent and comfortable... Price breakfast included is no expensive compared with other hotels I've been in the same area. We stayed here while in town for our wedding during COVID. I would highly recommend this hotel, they were extremely responsive, took care with COVID measures, and allowed us to have a relaxing safe and enjoyable wedding weekend. The family Schnapps was just an added bonus to a wonderful stay. Highly recommend if your in the area.

The property was well situated outside Celle, quiet and perfect for dog walking. The staff and owner were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful, so many varieties of good food and more than enough. A huge plus and value for money.

Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The location is good, it's easy to get to Celle, but it's nice and quiet on the side street. The double room is just the right size for two people. This was a fine hotel. It is dated and not in a very pleasant or picturesque location. The breakfast was just okay everything served, however, was room temperature (scrambled eggs, milk, and yogurt all the same temperature). It also had minimal variety compared the other hotel breakfasts we have had that have been the same price. The rooms are from the 70's and lack hot water maker let alone outlets...

Check the hotels services b4 booking I would be appropriate to inform of the restaurants opening hours as our booking was done due to the fact that it was a restaurant at site. But it turned out that the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays and that was the night of our stay!

The main problem with this hotel was the lack of parking spaces. Apart from this, the hotel is nice and comfortable and not too far from the main town area of Celle.

Well placed for exploring Celle Staff was friendly and accommodating. It was very close to the town Center - so as a hotel from which to explore Celle, it was great. We were in the original building (16th century), as opposed to the modern extension. The ceilings were very low, and there was a bit of a smell from the bathroom.

Stayed here for 2 weeks due to work, OK stay but the room I had was not clean. Spiderweb in the roofs and it smells sewer in the bathroom. Had to move the bed, because I lost something under it. It was clearly many moths since it was cleaned there.

Great value for money. Beautiful surrounding and extra friendly staff. Dogs are welcome and you can directly walk from the property into the forests and nature parks with it's unique flora, fauna and wildlife. Highly recommended, not just for a budget overnighter..

We stayed here for 1 night in the family room. The room looked better than in the photos. All was nice and clean and all beds were made for us. Also the babybed was brought in quickly. Minor thing was the noise coming from the kitchen below, however that was over around 9-10pm. The hotel is in Soltau near a park. The center is in walking distance, which is nice.
