Hotels in Frechen

We absolutely loved the hotel; the photos don't really do justice to how cozy it is. The restaurant service was excellent – one day we arrived late for breakfast, and they kindly prepared something simple for us outside of regular hours, which we really appreciated. 100% recommend!

On a business trip, this is by far the best value-for-money hotel within a few kilometers. The environment is elegant, and check-in was a breeze. Parking is usually the biggest headache in Europe, but the lot here is spacious and the fees are reasonable. Highly recommended!

I have booked two nights. The first evening I called many times but they did not answer. The receptionist's behavior was very harsh. I don't like it.

Excellent. Clean and enough parking spaces (15 euro). Free swimming pool and bathtub in the room are also a big plus for my kid. 2 Large supermarkets across the street. Will come again.

The environment is pretty good.

I would say if you are travelling by public transport, dont choose this hotel, far away. While the distance not close to city (40minutes to the Cologne Church), the price also did not factor in, but quite expensive. The bed size is small, room is hot. You need to get everything kit from reception one by one, but they also out of stock for some eg. Dental kit. I dont expect I paid more than 200 Eur...

Need the car, car from the center

Ok stay for a night short visit. Staff he was very kind service mind. Room was very big clean. We got everything we want. Breakfast is ok. Electric charger for Car is provided.

This hotel feels like stepping into a time machine. It is outdated and old, but has a charm. The rooms are spacious and clean, the staff is very friendly. Plenty of parking by the hotel. Great place for passing by and spending the night, but if you're looking for something close to a city - this isn't the place for you.

Nice hotel to stop a night while traveling through Germany. Has free parking. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Simple but good breakfast.

The breakfast was a wonderful surprise!

Very good price-quality. Friendly staff, clean room and bathroom. A bit remote, but ideal for a 2 day trip to Phantasialand.

Location a little outskirt but accessible with car and public transport

The hotel is close to the train station, but quite far from city. We booked a single bed, it shows the bed size 0.8m-1.3m wide, in fact, I think it is only 0.8m, which is really small. we understand that during the busy week (Anuga and Marathon) is high price, but it's not really worth for a single bed here.

Overall it’s a safe place to stay. My understanding was that parking was included for hotel guests and it wasn't.

Fair hotel Dorint is conveniently located along main tram with stops within 1 block. Hotel is a 3 star basic hotel not exceptional but also not bad.

My stay at Essential by Dorint Köln-Junkersdorf was quite good overall. Here's a brief summary for your reference: Room Environment: The room was spacious and bright with excellent natural light, and clean and tidy. The bed was a comfortable firmness, and the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet, which was convenient. Dining Experience: The breakfast had a variety of choices, Western-style,...

Nice hotel Nice hotel and staff also the location is good

Great stay close to Cologne. Comfortable beds, great breakfast, and courteous staff. Would stay again. Give them a try from an American.

The bathroom was not well cleaned, the toilet seat loose, double bet not double, no bed side table, no bed site lamp.

Nice bed, aircondition, garage and EV charger. Ok stay. The hotel has old standard, but is clean and the bed is good. Our view was another roof not very exiting. Simple but ok breakfast. The hotel has underground garage and also possibilty to charge our EV. work excellent, and we started the next morning with fully charged battery (both car and people). All in all a ok stopover, but not 4 stars in...

Always a pleasure to stay in.

I love this Hotel. I stayed there many times. Great breakfast

Nice hotel outside of Cologne I stayed at this hotel for five nights, in this small town for a wedding. The hotel is clean, pretty and comfortable. I was very happy with the a/c in teh room...really good for Europe standards. Breakfast was awesome. I appreciated the affordable parking. Check in after hours was easy.

The staff were very courteous, professional and most of them couldcommunicat ein English - definitely the front desk staffw ere english speakers

We used this hotel now for 4 years each time we are going on holiday. The location is very handy. There is no need to go far away from the motorway, which is close by from exit on both ways. The hotel is always clean, and the service is good. Part of the hotel is a secure car park.

Clean and sufficiently sized. Staff was amazing! Location good for what i needed but not touristy.

It's some distance away from downtown Cologne and very quiet.

The room is clean and hygienic, suitable for business trips

Reasonable distance from city centre. Rooms are clean and tidy. Service excellent. Free car park. We will come again. Thanks. Happy customer's

Nice, clean, large room (for a single traveler). Tiny shower! Great breakfast. Underground garage parking for 8 Euros or free street parking on Saturday night and Sunday, if available. Short walk to restaurants & shops. Very friendly & helpful staff.

Much respect for Esther and the team! Cozy, clean and friendly atmosphere. See you again on the next Anuga fair.

Lovely hotel where you feel really comfortable.

We happened on this hotel by accident. We were scheduled for another hotel and the booking was confused. We contacted this hotel on line. In spite of the World Cup Games they were able to provide us with a great room overlooking a beautiful garden. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The beds were new and we rested well. There was no air conditioning buy the situation of the room provided...

Nice breakfast, nothing too fancy but good. Lovely Garden, parking available. Friendly and helpfull staff!

peaceful hotel with clean nice rooms

The price for the rooms is not justified. Simple steel frame beds, Pizza is one food that can be ordered frozen.

1. The very friendly staff, with any questions and good information. And, in particular, Mrs. rose Meyer, who represents the soul of the house! It provides for the lovingly arranged Breakfast buffet, and for pretty flowers at the Breakfast table, also takes care of extra needs and is very helpful. It also has a sense of Humor and is sure to enhance by their presence the somewhat dreary and sterile...

Perfectly fine hotel with direct access to one of the main roads of Cologne. Friendly staff and mostly clean room, but absolutely nothing traffic, the restaurant in the ground floor counters it perfectly. Great parking right in front!

That was Clean and large room, location was little bit far but it was good experience

Very nice hotel. The girl at reception was fantastic, she gave me room before check in.

Don't hesitate. Most clean residence, and most nicest teams i met here. I feel honored. Thank you!!!

Nice little hotel with friendly staff and easy access to public transportation (tram stop across the street). The RhineCenter mall is one tram stop away and there are several restaurants within walking distance, as well as a good restaurant at the hotel. The street noise is loud with the windows open, but it is quiet with them closed. The hardest part for my husband was navigating the stairs (no elevator...

Super friendly service at check-in. Spacious, completely renovated, and tastefully furnished room and bathroom. Excellent toiletries, etc. were provided. Coffee (capsules and machine included) and a complimentary bottle of water were included in the room rate as a welcome gift. Very central yet quiet location (400 meters to the town center with pubs, shops, and restaurants). The price was also perfectly...

Great little place to stay in Frechen. Very friendly staff and lovely clean room. Breakfast was great with a good selection of food on offer. Close to the Main Street in Frechen and near a tram line that takes you to Cologne city center, so convenient for trips into the city too.

we arrived at 10PM but the boss still helped us to check in

Excellent accueil. Propreté, quelques détails agréables (bouteille d’eau, cafetière et capsules dans la chambre).

A gem Comfortable, clean and very good value for money. Highly recommended

Very clean room, great hospitality, courteous service at breakfast. Scrambled or fried eggs are individually and freshly prepared.

Super service, very kind regards to the Hotel Olympia Garni team.

A good hotel at moderate prices in a top location in the west of Cologne. Rooms are big enough, clean and well maintained. The staff is courteous, nice and friendly. A very good alternative to the crowded hotel at the exhibition center in Cologne.

It was alright. Not the best hotel.

The accommodation was clean. Everything was perfect. A refrigerator or small minibar would have been great for our taste.

The bed was small, perfect for business use. It's close to the subway, so it's a good choice for visiting the Dusseldorf Convention Center, about a 40-minute drive away. There's a large supermarket near the hotel, where pork knuckles and roast chicken are quite affordable. The roast chicken is especially good, highly recommended!

Just sleep, clean and hygienic

Complete facilities and good service attitude.

The hotel offered good value for money. The location was slightly inconvenient, but overall I was satisfied.

Does the job, no kettle in the room. Service is ok , friendly enough. Not luggage Holding service either.

Nice and friendly staff. Very competent.

at one time I am sure this property was really swag but now old and outdated however the beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean and the staff was excellent!!!! it was just a short walk from the train station and a short cut through the train station takes you to the Dom, museums and restaurants and shopping. if you are coming in on a train and want a convenient affordable place to stay...

The hotel was nice, rooms clean and with adequate space, and we were glad to be able to stay with our big dog. There is parking available at the hotel for 5 euros per night. The best option to go in the city for us (and probably the cheapest) was to go to a nearby P+R and take a tram. The surroundings do not offer much so it is a good option for a short stay.

Hotel is very conveniently located just off the autobahn, with fast food restaurants close by. The hotel was very busy with every car parking space taken, but was noticably quiet. Given the location next to the autobahn, traffic noise was absent. An ideal overnight base if you are travelling on to Cologne city centre or further into Germany as we were.

can self check in and check out use password to unlock the room room very clean

Very nice and friendly staff. They took care of my issue immediately and resolved it to my satisfaction!

Good Room was not cleaned upon our arrival but was quickky given another room Would be nice fir a kettle and twa and xmcifee optikns in room

👍👍👍👍 very central

Good value for money, good location (5 min walk from tram stop 7) which goes directly into town, relatively clean.

Comfortable Ibis budget hotel with convenient location for the motorway. Breakfast was simple but nice and staff were welcoming. The location is surrounded by car retailers and industrial type units but there are a variety of fast food and better restaurants within a mile. Rooms were a bit hot bit beds were comfortable and very clean.
