While the distance not close to city (40minutes to the Cologne Church), the price also did not factor in, but quite expensive.
The bed size is small, room is hot.
You need to get everything kit from reception one by one, but they also out of stock for some eg. Dental kit. I dont expect I paid more than 200 Eur, for nothing and need to ask for basic stuff from a hotel, are you serious?
For the reception staff, while I arrived at night in 4 Dec, the lady staff told me no dental kit and other stuff. In the next day, i found another staff helped. Ridiculous.
The lady passing rooms and fill in tea and coffee bags is nice.
Overall, horrible stay.
Was caught in the Strike / Industrial action in Paris City Centre and not able to attend the reservation in good time, requested for a cancellation which was promptly denied.
No consideration for guest.
Ordered a late dinner and disappointed with my under done beef patty, the bun it came with required an electric knife to get through. I did complain and an apology was given.
Now, the hotel room doors bang whenever they’re being closed and made my stay unbearable. Something definitely needs to be done as I was put off!! Before retiring to bed, I hung the notice to not be disturbed..alas! the following morning after breakfast I just wanted to have a quiet time but I was rudely interrupted, disturbed coupled with the loud doors as the cleaners went about their inspections 2 x in a space of 10 minutes.
I would have loved to stay here on future visits but it’s a NO!!
The breakfast was lovely, sauna and swimming pool facilities too. I did not use the gym. Otherwise it’s in a good safe location.
