This castle is a little jem. Magnificent setting, impressive building with lovely rooms. The dinner and breakfast were excellent and the staff were friendly and efficient. Wish we'd had more time to explore. A very successful, satisfying and surprising overnight stay.

Serenity and quiet seeker are welcome A bit outside of Münster, so you need a car. The hotel is set in a historic castle, surrounded by gardens and water and has a upper class restaurant. I felt welcomed from the first moment and would recommend it without reservation. However, next time I would rather stay on the first floor as the ground floor rooms can be seen from the parking area.

Lovely place, lovely dinner. But woke up at six in the morning with very painful stomach trouble. Had not eaten anything else on the day in question, as I usually only eat dinner. When I mentioned this after I had paid, the receptionist just laughed!

Stayed here for the fourth time last week. This time there was three of us and we got a studio in the annex, at the top of the building with a lovely balcony overlooking the moat and surrounds. Restaurant is very good, bit like eating in an art gallery.

Last weekend, we visited the restaurant on the ground floor and ordered from the menu. I absolutely loved everything — the presentation of each dish was beautifully done, pleasing not only the palate but also the eye. For me, how a dish looks is just as important as how it tastes. The staff were very attentive and polite. I will definitely be coming back again.

This is a family-owned business. We were here for a weekend stay in Münster. Within 10 minutes you are from the hotel into Münster. Hotel gas a good parking. Friendly reception. Nice and clean modern rooms. No airco. But windows can be open. Breakfast-buffet is good. As is the resto with good ‘Heimatküche’ but also modern dishes. Recommended for a stay in Münster!

Very friendly people who advised us to take bus 1 that is during 4 weekends up to Christmas free and stops in front of the hotel. Really handy! In 20 minutes we were in the city centre. Stayed in December 2023 for a return to Munster for my husband who served there in the British Army 30 years ago. Lovely hotel, clean and comfortable rooms. Lovely breakfast with attentive staff. Parking difficult in the hotel car park as limited space, we parked at n the street outside the hotel but parking there limited due to building works opposite the hotel.

Hotel Jellentrup is a cute little gem of a hotel, located within walking distance from the old city center of Münster. Had a very pleasant stay! Two rooms right next to each other. Windows could be opened for fresh air. The parking lot was behind the hotel and easily accessible. It was a pity, however, that one had to go up a small flight of stairs with a door that opens heavily for less mobile elderly people to reach the reception. Breakfast was good and tasty. The hotel is alongside a busy road but you are not bothered by it during sleeping. Our room had access to the balcony that you share with four other rooms. The location of the property was not ideal. Lots of traffic noise at all times of day and loud people outside the hotel. The room was small but comfortable and the staff was very nice, but limited times to be able to engage with them. The front desk is occupied only certain hours of the day and sometimes the person at the desk cannot do some of the functions which you request.

The hotel was very much as in the description. Simple hotel, clean, well looked after, had all the essentials. No coffee making facilities or fridge in the room. Had its own car park (€8 extra), but at night this was sometimes full and finding parking locally was not easy. Very good breakfast and friendly helpful staff.

Came for a tattoo convention, we stayed here yrs ago , but unfortunately it has diminished considerably since, the elevator wasn’t working , so we had to drag our suit cases up 3 floors, to a hall way that smelt damp ,like a wet dog , there’s no fan or air con , so had to sleep with the windows open,as it was so hot , this gave the mosquitoes chance to feast upon us……breakfast was ok 👌 but doubtful...

Nice and modern hotel located on outskirts of Munster city. The location is not convenient, and we needed to spend 15-20 minutes to commute to central Munster city, depending on traffic. Clean basic rooms. The bathroom was very clean and newly renovated. Basic complimentary breakfast. Friendly front desk staff.

Very nice old fashioned hotel. Room was very spacious with access to the garden, which was great in the morning to see the squirrels run up and down the trees. Breakfast was basic, the service in the bar was a bit slow.

We have stayed in this hotel many times over the years and always enjoyed it. The staff, especially, have always been great and made us feel welcome.

The guy at the front desk could not have been nicer. He was just absolutely lovely. We arrived at c. 9:30pm. He was chipper and checked us in quickly. He noticed we had brought restaurant food and offered to get us cutlery and napkins. When we got to the room, we noticed it was fitted out with linens for only 1 person. We called him. He had them sent up immediately. The room was huge. My only complaint...

The hotel looks new and clean. My room was very large, as was the double bed and the TV. The bathroom was standard for a new hotel. I didn't have breakfast, as more than €20 was beyond my reach! The staff was friendly.

Large room, very comfortable bed. My request for no down pillows or quilts was respected. Breakfast great including lactose-free products. I had a meeting nearby in the morning and was allowed to leave my car in the carpark (costs extra) until midday.

This hotel is located outside Muenster, but only a short drive from the centre of Muenster. We enjoyed the size of the room and a very big bathroom. We had a room on the backside of the hotel and it was very quiet. We enjoyed our dinner's and breakfast in the restaurant. Very friendly staff. Free parking at the hotel premises.

I stayed one night from Tuesday to Wednesday in March in a reasonably priced, non-smoking single room at the hotel. The room was quite large and very quiet (facing the back). Large, modern bathroom, everything very clean and comfortable. I also ate dinner there; reservations are probably recommended even during the week. Hearty fare, with something for everyone. I highly recommend Hotel Brintrup. During the 21 days of my stay, I could always count on the kindness and help of the staff. What is more, I also recommend meals in the hotel restaurant. Although the place is far from the city center, you can get everywhere very quickly thanks to the developed public transport.

Good hotel, but you have to know that there is no staff on site. You check in via keybox and you can order breakfast next door in the cafe. For us that was fine.

Very beautiful and a great afternoon out!

We went canoeing/kayaking for 3hrs. Easy to book and use. Quiet river. Tip : it's less busy in the mornings.

Nice restaurant and café and Biergarten. They also have rooms to stay. There is a mini golf and you can rent a canu. Quality of the food and service is high. Even on a busy Sunday morning the pretzels are fresh and the service is with a smile. The actual 'mühle' (mill) refers to a nearby water mill of which only the building is still there, but seems not connected to this Landgasthof.

Food, outdoors seating and drinks, mini golf, canoeing, indoor dining etc. This place is enjoyable. The availability of canoes is my favorite part. The mini golf needs to be repaired or upgraded a little as there are a lot of defects that effect the game. Still a great place to hang out with friends and family, grab a drink and enjoy the sun or taking a nice adventure down the river.

Super nice beer garden with food straight from the barbecue. Close by you can pick strawberries, go on a canoeing trip or play mini golf. Prices are reasonable, outside it is self service.

Place is beautiful! Also nice Helles beer. Unfortunately food is traditional German and boring, no innovation at all. Vegetarian options are also minimal.

This is a great Bar, Restaurant, Hotel near Coerde where I live. I visit the area often to make photographs and always must see the place due how beautiful it is.

A good place for those looking for a weekend on the farm, it was not our case, because we were only going to spend one night. But even arriving after check-in time, we were well attended by phone by an employee who did her best to help us. We had a pleasant evening and very good service during breakfast. But the Booking.com app doesn't show you exactly what accommodations look like.

Stayed in a single room with a shared bathrooms. Rooms and bathrooms were immaculately clean. Towels, soap and bath/shower gel provided. Room has sink, not kettle/fridge. Room felt light and airy. Staff were polite and friendly. My only critique is that the bathroom windows were often large and not always frosted, or had blind but that had holes in it, meaning it did not feel safe/private to shower...

I had booked a single room, it was a bit small but it had everything I need, good bed, everything very clean. It was a bit warm at night. Breakfast was average. I could park my motorbike free of charged in backyard, which was closed during the night Next door is a very nice English pub with draught Newcastle Brown ale , very nice.

Near to sleep station and 1km far from sleep station. 29 Euro per day in 2011 and breakfast and wifi is free. Breakfast is just awesome with varieties of Bread and butter. I like eating breakfast here as it is free 😋 I ate brunch like anything. It was customer friendly and they also advise on how to reach airport. If you want to reach airport there is a bus runs between airport and city every hour...

The location was very cozy, just what we like. The room gives more of a bedroom vibe than a hotelroom and thats what made our stay very comfortable, slept well and the bathroom also was very hygienic and cozy. Personnel was very kind as well, everything felt amazingly welcome as if you were coming home.

Terribly loud hotel, located on the street and by the railway tracks. And even though all rooms are supposed to be non-smoking, we had to sleep with the window open. I wouldn't book it again. The service was nice, but the breakfast was expensive and modest at EUR 12.90 per person.

The hotel is good and relatively new. The room is large, however it does not have parking and costs 15 euros. Breakfast is not included. There is no coffee maker in the rooms. The area is good, but there are several street people nearby, which creates insecurity. Everything else is fine.

There is not much to say....its clean and a standard B&B place a little bit high priced but that pretty common for Münster just because there is a university doesn't mean that there are only rich people.....but the Parking OMG only 1,50€ / an hour best parking ever
