A great hotel with nice staff, spacious and clean rooms and lovely restaurant. An ideal place for short getaways for couples especially. Takes 15 minutes to get to Münster center but the views and the accomodation is well worth the short trip. Our room was well equipped. Beds were clean and comfortable. The restaurant looks lovely and the service is welcoming. We also liked how the reception team helped us with our requests. We will surely visit again.

This hotel was magical. A beautiful, old hotel reimagined with modern conveniences. Set in the amazing hamlet of Handorf, it provided a fantastically unique opportunity to explore and enjoy an authentic German experience. 12/10 would go again.

great design. owner couple running the places themselves. the nights were a bit noisy from garden restaurant. food excellent! staff well trained and very kind. would every times going back there. parking free and easy. you can walk on foot.

Very nice old fashioned hotel.
Room was very spacious with access to the garden, which was great in the morning to see the squirrels run up and down the trees.
Breakfast was basic, the service in the bar was a bit slow.

Lovely group of ancient houses, turned into a nice hotel, with friendly people as staff and nice cooks making delicious food. we’ll be back as soon as we are in the neighbourhood.

We have stayed in this hotel many times over the years and always enjoyed it. The staff, especially, have always been great and made us feel welcome.

Location is OK, but a bit out of the way for central Münster. Hotel grounds are beautiful and rooms are comfortable. Breakfast is good. Overall service was a little inflexible and WiFi was very poor across the hotel, albeit free.

I have stayed at this hotel twice. The first time I was bitten on my back by bed bugs during the night. I informed the hotel but the matter was not taken further.
The second time, our room was not made up by the staff, even though I requested it should be, by leaving the 'Please make up the room' sign on the door. The water bottle in the room had the lid on but the bottle itself was empty, obviously consumed by the previous guests and not replaced. The 'shampoo' in the shower was nearly empty when we arrived, so for the shower on the second morning we had to use the hand soap by the sink to clean ourselves. Lastly the greeting on arrival at reception was not friendly or welcoming. One positive was the service by the waiter we had for dinner one evening, exceptionally friendly and fun.

We had a team event in the hotel. The menu was chosen by the hotel and food was beating expectations. Rooms are charming, location kept and with lots of flair. The only improbable element is the fitness room ;-), but again, close by great running opportunity.

Absolutely adorable stay we had - this was a romantic getaway and the hotel exceeded our expectations - a beautiful green and quiet environment, spectacular room, every detail of high quality, with great restaurant service and fantastic foods.

We drive to Germany every year on business and whenever possible we end our journey at the Hof Zur Linde before heading back to the UK. It is a lovely location and the hotel provides excellent accommodation and service. Car parking is free and easily accessed. The restaurant is first class and good value.
Room are spacious with plenty of facilities such as power sockets. WiFi is Free. This is a good hotel for an extended stay, and I thoroughly recommend it
