Where to stay in Remscheid

This property was absolutely wonderful, out in the country with space between each house to go for a great walk but still feel safe. Woke up to a bit of fog coverage which just added to the ambiance. Only downfall was it was a bit difficult to find the reception office to check in. Breakfast buffet had so many options, and the staff was very friendly.

Breakfast buffet was really below my expectations….

Quiet, well renovated to a high standard, very good food. And nice walks in the evening through the forest

Very good location: 30min away from Cologne by car, in the middle of the mountains and near a beautiful lake. It's the perfect place to escape from the city from a weekend and enjoy the beauty of nature... Plus, the staff is very nice and the breakfast (a buffet) is very good. My room was comfy and extremely clean, and I loved the view on the garden. I highly recommend!

Nice place in a refurbished countryside Manor. The restaurant is highly recommended. However rooms are scattered in the forest: I needed a car ride to reach my room from the reception!

Excellent venue, location and service.

Nice and simple hotel in Remscheid. Love the breakfast as there are quite a selection of food for you to dulge on. Great way to start the morning 👍

Super nice and clean hotel! Big bathroom, free minibar (for real! With one beer and lots of soda), great breakfast for 5€. Can recommend for a one night stay:)

Comfortable, Cheap and Friendly Environment Nice hotel, nice prices. Friendly environment.

Stayed here twice. Really good breakfast for only 5€.

The staff was friendly and helpful, even when I inquired upfront over the phone about pets and electric car charging. The rooms are well-maintained, and the breakfast offers excellent value. Recommended.

Nice. Very clean, good parking and very nice breakfast. Nothing to complain about.

A typical regional villa, outside with grey slades and green shutters, inside with oak floors and antique furniture, nicely renovated with beautiful details. The large rooms have modern baths/showers and are well isolated from outside noise. My second floor room to the backside was quiet with open windows, too. The villa also hosts a good lebanese restaurant, frequented for business dinners by some...

Beautyfull place to stay, very stylish and cozy rooms. Very good food too.

Old looking house with perfect rooms, modern combined with old works really well, large bathrooms with stylish bath, shower, comfortable bed. Yummy breakfast with a wide choice of food. Recommended!

Just super, the food and the room you have to finally move in a bathroom where the shower and the stomach. The staff is always happy to return.

There was now several times for Brunch and am always amazed at the great Service, the nice and courteous staff and the delicious food. It would every recommend.

The Service, the cuisine, the delicious food and the exquisite wines ✔in a while you'll enjoy. Am extremely satisfied Just Super??D A N K K E

We were here visiting friends and couldn’t have asked for better accommodations and service! Danke!

Excellent stay - friendly staff and nice rooms as well as good breakfast buffet

Always perfect. Service at a great level. Employees are always friendly and helpful. The best restaurant I've experienced in this area. Quality of the food is exceptional.

Small hotel but very nice and super clean room! We enjoyed our two day stay.

Our stay at "Zum Schwanen" was amazing! The huge free parking just a few steps away on Schwanenplatz was a great convenience. The staff was incredibly helpful, and Christian went above and beyond, accommodating our special requests and providing extra storage for our equipment. Super nice guy and great chef!

My stay was great. Good room, service, rates and location (spend a few days doing meetings in Cologne and region). Surely will consider for future trips.

Beautiful walking trail beside building. Owner was very accommodating with what ever we asked for. Good value would stay again

Best in town! No words needed! The staff, the rooms, everything was just comfortable, clean and you feel like home! Amazing!👍

My fiance and i visited my grandparents for a couple of days here in Remscheid. This place, Hotel König, is underrated! The service, the rooms, the breakfast. For such a small amount of money. We are coming back, for sure! - Daniel

Great hotel owner, small family driven Hotel. Everybody is very kind and helpful. The owner always has an moment to chat. Great vegan breakfast!

Tidy well equipped rooms. Friendly staff

Clean, comfortable room and friendly owners. It's on a quiet street with good access to Remscheid centre by bus.

For business travelers, the rooms are spacious and bright, the service is excellent, and the restaurant downstairs offers authentic German cuisine and beer.

Positive - Central location - Comfortable bed Negative - Strange smell - Narrow elevator

The room is very small, smaller than description, the heating is not like the rest of the high-end hotels, but heating under the window, there is no phone to call the reception, I had to use my phone and search for the hotel number through Google and then wait for the autoresponder, to ask them a question The fan has a thick dust on it, it hasn't been cleaned in a while

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The bedroom was spacious and clean with tea and coffee facilities in the room. The only downside was with the windows open we heard a lot of traffic noise . Room needed air conditioning as when we were there the temperature was 30 degrees - but there was an electric fan in the room.

Great hotel in the heart of Remscheid The reception was a bit difficult to find

Very good hotel, very convenient location, will stay here next time

A warm welcome, spatious, clean, peaceful room. Restaurant with German tradition. Even a shower stool in bathroom! Watch out the slippery floor there.

Fischer is not just a great hotel but a great restaurant also. Breakfast was good enough. Rooms were clean and stuff was friendly.

Great food, great service reasonable price! Throughly enjoyed my dinner!

I bought an extra breakfast to eat with my aunt and uncle who were staying at the hotel. The breakfast was amazing and the service was great.

Excellent restaurant, friendly atmosphere, Best hotel in the area!

We were at the 20.2.2016 to eat there. It has us very well fallen! Food great, Service great! And, above all, a very dear greetings to Carsten! Keep it up Melina and Burkhard Kraus

Very nice cozy rooms, friendly staff and the restaurant was delicious! It was definitely not my last visit. Highly recommended! :)

Very nice host, good room. Not the most modern but all good and clean. Breakfast was delicious and adequate from the selection.

Entschuldigung Sie bitte, ich habe schlecht deutsch. This Hotel is nice On the Inside and the staff is very friendly. My biggest complaints (as an American) are: the parking is very hard to spot, the entrance for any non-compact car is very narrow, and the road is undergoing construction that makes it hard to find the way to the hotel. Overall,a good experience at this hotel.

Sebastian was great, booked us in a great room and recommended a great bar eatery across the street. We had a great time beers meal and chatting with the great locals.

Cute old hotel. Very attentive staff. I could nitpick on a few things but I'm gonna stick to the essential: sleep. I was given a room that faces the street. Sadly the blinds don't black out the room by any mean, so the street lights were lighting up the room a lot. Thankfully I had an eye mask but otherwise I'd have been in trouble. The pillows are way too plushy. No firm pillow available. As someone...

Best place in town Amazing stay. Charming hotel and really friendly and helpful staff front desk, couldn’t do enough for us. Really made our stay great.

Stayed single at this hotel in 1989 for a month and with spouse in 1991 for two and a half months. It was like home away from home for us. Managed by women team. We were allowed to cook our own food. Had an excellent time through. Hope to visit some day again for a nostalgic experience.

We had a very good experience. Our initial enquiry was attended kindly, and when we arrived, it was easy to check in and we had a very big room in classic style. We loved Hotel Berliner Hof and Lennep :-) Kindest regards, Lisbeth and Bertel from Denmark

It was all Clean. Big rooms. Good Breakfast

Rooms are okay, parking is limited but street parking is available closeby.

We were absolutely thrilled with the catering at our wedding reception with around 160 guests! From the planning stages to the execution, everything was perfectly organized – calm, professional, and completely stress-free. The staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and worked together seamlessly. We especially appreciated the small appetizer before the main course, which allowed our guests to...

I live only for a month .All i can say was very nice place and very polite people serving me. Credit to the owner who was also my friend. Regards to the people sorrounds this place, very nice and friendly people.

A simple but very hospitable hotel. The management is familiar, the staff very friendly, simple, clean and welcoming rooms. Breakfast adequate to myself who usually gorges himself a lot. The restaurant also turned out to be good, good and well-interpreted dishes

Very friendly and attentive staff. We had booked by phone and could easily move into our room outside of the reception time. We got a nice double room with the usual equipment (plus air purifier), which despite its location on the street was quiet at night and with a thick curtain also dark. The breakfast was extensive and tasty - the service was very attentive. A reusable packaging service for take...

WiFi very poor in rooms, no chance to open internet.

The staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. Very nice ambience The food is of a very high standard. Very good and definitely won't leave you disappointed.. Portions are large!!! So make sure you come hungry.

Very nice single room. Very clean. Big bed. Very good and clean shower. The hotel has a beautiful outdoor terrace.

Best Hotel in Lennep and environs. Rustic, comfortable, wonderful owners and staff, great local food.

Great place in a wonderful countryside, friendly people and a very good restaurant with a wide choice of tasty food. Really enjoyed my stay.

Just tried the restaurant and was very nice and cosy. The food was tasty and our waitress was very helpful and funny.

We spent six wonderful days in the Hotel Wuppertal Hof. It is a lovely location and the service was exemplary. The staff was always friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed breakfast and would recommend their restaurant for dinner.

The room was clean and comfortable.

1. Air conditioned, clean rooms, comfortable beds and in a great location. 2. The staff is friendly, but keep in mind that most speak German outside of the reception. 3. If arriving late, read the given instructions carefully! 4. There are two parking zones with plenty of parking space, one for the hotel guests, and one for the park visitors and rest stop users. The gas station below is open 2...

Clean large rooms, friendly staff who were super helpful and gave us a free room upgrade out of pure thoughtfulness, and a beautiful view of the lake in the forest next to the hotel. Great price, well worth the stay!

Quick check in, clean room, easy parking, very happy.

Nice room and great views of the lake.

Great beds with easy acces to the freway It was a nice stay and easy acces to the freeway. But unfortunately they were down with staff, so the waiting for food, payment and check inn was long. The room was big and great beds. But the cleaning could have been better. There where dust and spiderweb in the corner, the curtain was brooken and the stairway was also full of spiderweb and dust. The breakfast...

The owner/manager of the hotel was very polite and took care of our small requests. The room was nice and clean with all the basic amenities.

I am only judging the restaurant here and not the hotel. The restaurant impresses with a varied, albeit very meat-heavy menu. The dishes are all delicious and more than adequate in size. The tasty food is flanked by attentive and very friendly service, which always has an eye on the guests at their tables. We would definitely like to come back, especially in summer, the beer garden invites you to stay...

Nice family-run hotel in a central location in Freyung. We were there 2 nights. Beautifully arranged breakfast buffet, egg dishes are freshly prepared. Had dinner in the restaurant once. Super delicious regional cuisine and great service, just like in the morning. In any case, the hotel is to be recommended! You feel welcome.

Very clean and very inexpensive. The food in the restaurant is very, very tasty and fresh. The service super friendly. A place where you can really have a good time. I'll stop by more often.

Super nice employees. The hotel has been renovated inside. The rooms are super made, spacious bathroom. The beds are very comfortable and the hotel is quiet. The hotel accommodated us at breakfast time, even on Sunday. Thanks a lot for this. We also tested the restaurant in the evening. A good choice of food and very tasty. As well as the breakfast selection with different eggs, bacon and toppings...

Simple Hotel/Rooms. Small room is functionally furnished, Wi-Fi available and for a simple Overnight stay completely okay.

The Hotel was really old but Not in a good way. The bed was fine even though the matress was Split up in two. The bathroom was very small. Not to great For that price in my opinion but Overall fine für a night or two.

We had a nice overnight stay in the Hotel Alt Lennep after a bike tour through the Bergisch. We received a very warm welcome and were even allowed to park our bikes in a garage protected from the rain. The staff was very helpful. The rooms were very clean, cozy and rustic. The breakfast was simple but good and from the hotel you can quickly reach the pretty center of Lennep. We would love to come back

We were welcomed and looked after very nicely! The hotel is ideal for cyclists as it has a garage for bikes.

Very nice hosts. Good location with parking right in front of the hotel. Great breakfast. Very good price / performance ratio. My recommendation 👍

Very friendly service, price / performance ratio fits. Unfortunately no kitchen with food, even if it is only snacks

We really liked a very nice old but cozy hotel with a nice, cozy room because Corona doesn't make everything possible, the stay was very nice! Thanks!
