Cute old hotel. Very attentive staff.
I could nitpick on a few things but I'm gonna stick to the essential: sleep.
I was given a room that faces the street. Sadly the blinds don't black out the room by any mean, so the street lights were lighting up the room a lot. Thankfully I had an eye mask but otherwise I'd have been in trouble.
The pillows are way too plushy. No firm pillow available. As someone sleep on his side that's a problem. Staff gave me a second pillow and that helped a little.
But the biggest offender was the bed: not very comfortable to begin with, it had a slope! You can tell right away when laying on it. I couldn't sleep near the edge facing the room, and had to make sure I was more on the half facing the wall.
FYI, the ******* page is slightly out of date. Breakfast is €10.00, not €6.00.

Amazing stay. Charming hotel and really friendly and helpful staff front desk, couldn’t do enough for us. Really made our stay great.

The room was old, has gemuffelt, for 70-80€ a night and have the feeling that you are not in the hostel, even in the most friendly Service, I can recommend it, unfortunately.

Very nice notalgisches Design and very beautiful historical building from the 18th century. Jahrjundert. Apparently, it is just newly renovated, but a trip to the village of Remscheid seems to be worth it. Friendly staff and a good Breakfast await you there.Very recommend value.

We had a very good experience. Our initial enquiry was attended kindly, and when we arrived, it was easy to check in and we had a very big room in classic style. We loved Hotel Berliner Hof and Lennep :-)
