A lovely place! I'm coming back. I only wish there were more vegetables for breakfast.

Rooms, services and food are very good

A nice business trip experience.

Stopped in while on a road trip and it was absolutely worth it ! Staff were exceptional (all multi-lingual) and food was epically delicious! Parking was accessible on the street as well as in the rear lot. Well worth a visit if it is your last stop or your first stop in Germany.

We booked the Tuchmacher for the second time because it's close to the old town and has a historic ambiance itself. The breakfast is excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Parking is a bit inconvenient, but you can eventually park your car safely.

I used debit card to pay for the night's stay and even though the quoted price was $98.03 the deducted price was $114.82 Am I eligible to request a refund of $16.79? Why was there a difference in price?

Super charming hotel with spacious clean rooms, nice restaurant and bar and super friendly staff. Its located in a quiet street and, you can park the car outside or in the hotels courtyard for 5 Eur. Super for one night stay or longer.

We organized a week long conference at this hotel attended by 10 people from the US and Poland. It was absolutely perfect. We were so well looked after by the staff. The photo/address on this page is misleading. You check in at the main hotel in the Obermarkt, if you pay an extra 20€ you may stay here; otherwise, your actual stay is on Plattnerstraße. A stay without elevators, but all in all, it’s a very clean and well-kept stay.

Interesting building and nice service Historical place with some limitations. The layout of room and bathroom bit strange: room enormous and bathroom very tiny. Too few sockets, no place for cosmetics in the bathroom while just a shelf would make a change. For more then a week we wait for refund of overcharged payment. We spent three nights at this centrally located hotel. The reception was friendly and uncomplicated. We had actually booked the 3* guesthouse a few meters away and were able to stay in the 4* main building for only €10.00 per day. Furnishings have a typical Italian flair, our room was very large and faced the market square. There is a lot of activity there, but you can't hear anything with the windows...

Nice and clean rooms, rather old fashioned but bathrooms are modern. Really good service and breakfasts. Don't count on a parking place somewhere around, use parking places offered by the hotel.

Room is ok but don't rely on the over the head shower to give you water. It gives you some drops of water only. Unusable... Nice to spare water but up to a reasonable level. They overpassed it. Reception is closed if you arrive too late so make sure you tell them your arrival time. Strange for a 4 stars hotel. No reception 27/7. Breakfast is at 7h30 so if your meeting is at 8h00, no breakfast... Strange...

A nice hotel in the middle of this little border town, has very clean rooms and a great modern bathroom that makes up for a rather spartiate arrangement. The staff is kind and helpful.

This is an excellent hotel. Yes, it has a three star ethos, but the rooms are huge. airy and sunny, the beds are comfortable and everything is as spotless as you would expect. Traditional breakfast to enjoy. The location is just below the ramparts of the old town and a very short stroll to the bridge over to Poland. It was ok, nothing special, parking is paid and so is breakfast and i did not get any shampoos or body wash in the room, so i had to wash my hair with handsoap, which was not ideal. Front desk closes at 20:00.

As a large group of Germans and foreigners, the restaurant was very accommodating and polite in providing excellent service and enough space. We enjoyed our food and drinks very much! I highly recommend stopping here.

This was a wonderful place to stay. The owner greeted us when we arrived and gave us the best room on the third floor overlooking the water. Some people commented that the stairs were an issue, but they do have an elevator. You just need to ask. We sat in the dining area and had wonderful beer. I had the most wonderful sleep and soaked in the bathtub and had a fabulous breakfast. Staff is amazing....

great hidden gem in gorlitz, on a weir on the river with a lovely dining area outside, well appointed rooms and good breakfats, off road parking and cycle parking, will definately use again and have no hesitation recommending, upon arrival the waitress wrote out the entire menu into English by hand in order to be helpful, that really is going above and bbeyond great service

This is an exceptional hotel. One of best I've stayed in! The staff could not have been better. One young lady even translated the menu by hand onto paper for us!! Amazing!! We were guests at the hotel as part of a vintage car tour. An extra parking space in the enclosed courtyard was provided to us. Service was good and although the courtyard and entrance area shocked me at first, the room was clean and sufficient. Parking in front of the hotel is stupidly regulated because of the parking space management and the actual hotel parking lot is around the corner but you need the room chip for it. 5 stars because you just have the feeling of being with friends. Rooms are very clean and still have the old-fashioned charm. Breakfast is made with a lot of love and there is something for everyone. There is a separate parking lot but given the location everything is within walking distance. The staff and service are very polite and accommodating.

Absolute recommendation! Nice hotel well located. Everything here can be reached quickly on foot. Park your car in the hotel parking lot and off you go. It was just very nice there. Hotel has very good location. The room is large and tastefully decorated with attention to detail. It was very clean. It's okay for a little stay. But they make pay the wi-fi, don't have elevator and in the last floor you can't open the windows in the room so I think in summer the room could get really hot.

Cheap place. Good to sleep, but we had cold shower around 9am, no WiFi, no Softdrinks (broken), bells not working. You get what you pay for.
