Picobello Pension is right nest to the border river to Poland, almost 2 kilometres från Görlitz railway station but close to the centre area. This hotel is more like a hostel. The reception is in a separate building and the hotel is in and old grey building. The damp smell hits you when opening the door. Negatives - Uncomfortable bed. - Wi-Fi is 3€ per day, but the signal did not even reach my room. (A hotel where you are supposed to pay for Wi-Fi 2019 will hopefully be out of business soon.) - Breakfast is 6€. - Everything you might need during your stay, basic things like soap and shampoo is SOLD in the reception. - No air-conditioning. - Checkout is already at 10 am. Positives: - Calm. Sheets and towel are included in the price. Picobello Pension market themselves as “stay for 16€ per night”, which I assume is per person in a shared room. But I would say that the hotel is worth not more than 16€ per room… Go 50 meters longer across the bridge to Poland and stay there for less and with better quality.

Heating was off when I arrived - probably to save money but not what one does in winter. After 24hrs room still cold. No hot water - apparently it will be fixed. No soap in the bathroom. Not even plastic cup! My version of camping in more luxurious! (Oh the 'receptionist' - she was so disinterested in there being no hot water and the heating hardly working. I would highly recommend staying home rather than coming here!). I had to stay here the following week as it was already booked - the House of Horrors continued. Windows falling out of frames, water being turned off. Really pay a few more Euros and stay somewhere else. This place should be shut down.

The rooms are simple and large. To Poland over the old town bridge just 5 min.and to town also 5min.

Were on the bike path on the road and for a night in the guest house. The character is more of a Hostel/basic Hotel. All fairly new and in a former. old factory building. Views of the Neisse, and fairly quiet. Has everything you need, incl. Bike garage. The Breakfast was ok. Room facilities simple but clean and sufficient.

Huge rooms, all nicely renovated. Tip-top clean. Very nice innkeepers, best Breakfast, super price. Location directly on the river Neisse, free Parking.

Since it is a Pension, there is no Shampoo, shower gel (can't buy at the reception, but for little money, if you have it). No Hair Dryer.

Rooms good size, clean, and in the autumn (now) should, however, run the heating all day....To find Breakfast OK, great location ( 5 Min to downtown, 5 Min to Poland ), but be careful - without Navi handy to recommend, on the Whole, but really

I admire the owner has converted the old mill in this Guesthouse. The rooms are simple but big, bright and clean. Very good prices and very quiet! The location is awesome. Two steps to every attraction of the old town and right on the river with a view to the Polish side where you go across the nearby bridge, walking to the Polish pubs and Delicious very cheap Pierogi or other Polish specialties to eat. I think these two cultures, the city is unique and awesome, and for the beauty and precious of the old town, it deserves the NR 2 tourist town of Saxony... and the giant is worth more to visit the mountains.

It's okay for a little stay.
But they make pay the wi-fi, don't have elevator and in the last floor you can't open the windows in the room so I think in summer the room could get really hot.

I spent one night there. Fortunately I booked only one. The hotel is disaster, needs to be renovated. One star for good location. Never go there if you can book anything else.

Cheap place. Good to sleep, but we had cold shower around 9am, no WiFi, no Softdrinks (broken), bells not working. You get what you pay for.
