Great place to ski and enjoy nature, the hotel is well equipped and has a long history of satisfied costumers.

Excellent ...but only if you speak German. Very few staff speak English which is a bummer as the place has so much to offer. From family activities to the stunning view, there's plenty to do inside or outside regardless of the weather!

riesiges Haus, von außen furchtbar hässlich, von innen guter drei Sterne Standart. Sehr tolles Frühstücksbuffet, Mitarbeiter sind außerordentlich freundlich. Als wir dort zu Gast waren, war es unglaublich voll (700 Gäste), dadurch war es sehr unruhig und voll. Für eine Nacht war es aber auszuhalten

The rooms, staff, and sauna were great. Breakfast and dinner, however, were mediocre.

Good hotel and good location, poor restaurant. The hotel reception was very good and professional. The restaurant was poor. The breakfast table was not cleared or set. The buffet displays were not fresh. No fresh salad, tomatoes were whole. The evening buffet was not well prepared and presented. Dessert was cheap and unimaginative. The few service staff were overwhelmed but still friendly.

We spent a weekend at the Best Western Ahorn Hotel. We booked a deluxe room with half board. The location at the foot of the Fichtelberg, just two minutes' walk from the valley station of both the lift and the cable car, has both advantages and disadvantages. We spent a week on vacation in Oberwiesenthal. The idea of ​​the all-inclusive package is great, we were already looking forward to it. We stayed in the Miriquidi (double room with an extra bed for our daughter). The staff in the main hotel was very friendly (very few spoke German). It was very rare to see staff at Miriquidi. For all meals (except breakfast) we had to go to the Rathaushotel, 200m away...

Hotel is great. 5 min from Ski Lift. Food was very good, parking nearby the hotel. Room was very clean and comfortable. We will be back, once we visit Oberwiesenthal again :-)

We were very satisfied. The price-quality ratio is excellent! Spacious rooms, good food in the morning, midday, afternoon and evening, as well as high-quality drinks in the bar. The staff is also very friendly and motivated. We will gladly return!

Really nice hotel. Located near a lot of tourist attractions. Internet was quite good. The breakfast and the dinner were even better! Nice place to stay for a few days!

The parking is guarded, which is very important.

We had a three roomed suite. The room was above my expectation with plenty of space for two motorcyclists and all their touring gear. Enough that 2 motorcyclists had room to move around and hang wet gear out of the way. The beds were comfy though I do think quite a few hotels in Europe, including this one, struggle with the concept of two separate beds as opposed to two separated beds for two unrelated...

Amazing hotel nested in a lost little town. Food is very good, service and cleanliness paramount and simplicity is the main ornament!

I was here on business trip and I have to say lunch was phenomenal especially deserts!, as for rooms they are very simple, nothing fancy, clean and quite. My one problem was the wifi which kept disconnecting and the mobile network also switches back and forth to Czech networks, so overall internet was kind of a hustle for me.

Friendly staff and they speak good english, they answered all my question with 200% patience. Very child friendly place, spacious dining area can accommodate group dining. Clean room, even though it is winter, the room is warm.

Great location...friendly staff...a brilliant view in the Restaurant and from the room. The swimming pool is in a nice environment and a great place to relax. Parking directly in front of the door. Food is tasty and fresh. Super Stay

Very friendly staff, incredible Schnitzel.

We arrived late and the kitchen was closed but yet they offered to make a schnitzel with braten kartoffln for us which we highly appreciated after 10-12 hours of driving. Breakfast was also very fine with good selection - only missed water without gas

Off-season visit with Family. Very Kid-friendly. Enjoyed and felt very comfortable during our stay! We did miss anything.

I really appreciated the kindness of your staff, especially the firendly Ukrainian lady who was really sincere and was always willing to help us with anything, furthermore her Czech language was on point. The breakfast was great; there was a big variety of fruits, vegetables and bread to choose from. However, I would've appreciated a slightly bigger portion of eggs. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi and...

Everything fitted. Food, drinks, service and cleanliness very good. We had a family room with 2 rooms and 2 very small bathrooms. We have a 100% recommendation.

Small, quiet hotel with a great breakfast. Only the bathroom is very small. But it is due to the architecture. The catering in the Rathaushotel is always great. The surcharge for dogs is quite high at 15 euros per night. It was definitely not the last stay. The staff is super friendly.

Very nice ski Region for beginners and pros. A good alternativ to Sauerland less crowded and good prepared ski slopes. Prices are low. The Region itself had a Lot of activities for families with Kids.

This is nice place for staying overnight to watch the best sunset or sunrise. You have a wonderful view over the mountains of the Erzgebirge. The clear air and the open, wide view allows you to watch the stars from Fichtelberg during the night. The friendly restaurant offers also a candlelight-dinner. On the next day you can start a hiking tour into this nice area with nice meadows, fields and forests

Wonderful place, nice for hiking, vyvolat or just sightseeing. View is so nice and a trip by cable car is unique. This cable car is around 60 years old but it feels so safe.

Prices are okay given the location, service takes a little longer

Schönes geräumiges Ferienhaus mit 5 Schlafzimmern, voll ausgestattete Küche und geräumiges Gemeinschaftszimmer.

Location is great, in front of ski lifts. Accommodations are not up to par of prices charged, bathroom tub extremely slippery and dangerous, limited toiletries are given (one small soap for a room with 4 people?).

Great service, location and price. The hotel is directly close to the ski lifts and at walking distance from all the major services / attractions of the city. The staff is very friendly and the facilities very easy to use. The room was also very spacious and nicely decorated. Only minus: for us the mattresses were very hard, but otherwise highly recommended!

Have not stayed at the hotel but love the bar at the lobby! Very nice personnel, simple menu but great tasting food. We always have drinks/food here every time we come to ski in Oberwiesenthal. Personnel speaks too many languages to count :)

Was a very nice stay. Breakfast and dinner was great. Accommodation and staff were Top. The environment is seen when the weather is nice. Only rain had unfortunately.

Better you can not make it on the Fichtelberg vacation. Top location, friendly staff. With a child, a very good choice!
