Schwarzes Ross Hotel & Restaurant Oberwiesenthal in Oberwiesenthal

The "Hotel" corresponds to the equipment not more than a cheap Board, here still lives in the room facilities, as well as in the restoration and throughout the establishment of the GDR.
Front Desk is never occupied, for economic reasons, the light is everywhere in the hallways etc. and one has the impression of being in a closed operation.
No blackout curtains in the room, our bed has not had time on a slatted frame, but only a "DDR-slatted frame" (wooden boards), this suited the GDR curtains from the 70s, restoration, is both during the day and in the evening from 20 o'clock already closed, although there is a drinks vending machine or the like in the Hotel.

To buy instead of new furniture and facilities, it attracts the older owners (about 60-65 years of age) prefer to blaspheme in the case of seniors, a coach group of his young Czech woman (about 30), and guests as a "stupid girl". An absolute No-Go -its nice a woman can feel really sorry for!!
Our conclusion: Prefer to stay in another Hotel in the village of 10 Euro per night more not pay but really in the Hotel where I'm!

Furniture and everything else in the Hotel are still from GDR times. Sparse, primitive simple Breakfast what claps carelessly by the Czech personnel with little German language skills, "hung" is.
Wi-Fi works only at the reception, on the rooms there is no Internet.
Overnight stays are not here with Breakfast per room as a MAXIMUM of 30 Euro value. Due to the location of the entrance road of the place is very far from all other attractions, Hotels, Restaurants, Cafes, etc. and sleep with the window open is not possible, although we also live in a big city and car noise are used.
View from the hotel rooms is equal to zero.
Within walking distance from the Hotel to reach in Oberwiesenthal nothing.
Once and NEVER AGAIN !!!! We can only Advise against.

Clean, large rooms.Difficult understanding with the Czech staff.Very bad,loveless Breakfast.As the packaging of meats and cheeses on the Buffet thrown in.Not!!!Somehow, The Mass Check-In.

Please don't eat the dinner. The best food here is free and at the front desk. See picture attached. The room is fine. Nothing great but the dinner felt like they were angry at me. Some terrible meat smoothered in mustard sauce. It was offensive. The service took about 30 minutes just to take our order. My wife got the 10€ special which also felt like they were saying f#$! you to us. It was soooooo bad. There is more but I really don't want to waste more of my time.
