After a first great experience last year, we spent a long weekend with other 3 young couples (in total 8 people) again this year (February 2017) and I have to say it is one of the best accommodations where I have ever stayed. The house is a completely new wooden house, fully equipped with a very high quality. Three cosy bedrooms and two elegant bathrooms with a huge open kitchen-living room! Simply amazing! The owners even helped us to have an incredibly great weekend! Actually the house is close to the forest and right there you can start your ski walks! Simply perfect!

A really beautifully situated hotel in the middle of the Harz. Ideal for hiking and winter sports. Lots of trails around the hotel. Excellent rooms with good beds and bathroom. The rooms with a sloping wall can be a bit difficult for tall guests, but it was doable with a shower. Super tasty pastry. Lots of choice. The kitchen was also fine. There is an elevator. For guests with limited mobility, the rooms on the top floor can only be reached via a staircase. This hotel is fine and highly recommended.
