Location is 10 mins walk from the main city area. Rooms are big, clean, quiet . Beds are comfortable. Service is great. Lobby is fun with billiard, TVs, comfy sofas, good beer and snacks. Breakfast is AMAZING. They even let us cancel extra 2 nights we didn't need anymore cuz plans change and it's not something to take for granted. Really appreciated that.

My stay at the hotel upon arrival was confusing. My team and I came for the consulate to do a military ceremony. We were there during the trade fair, which was unfortunately a bit limiting. Breakfast was moved to an area that wasn't as inviting as the actual room! It has been quite a while since the hotel name changed from The Westin Dresden to BILDBERG. It was inconvenient because you had to walk for about 15 to 20 minutes from the tourist center and there were no shops or restaurants nearby. The room is small and the bathroom is large. The facilities overall are old. Breakfast was okay.

Yes, it is a simple trade fair hotel, you know that beforehand. I usually travel in Asia and seem to be spoiled. But I am amazed how they can still install bathtubs for showers these days. The toilets are also only designed for reversing into. It was annoying, however, that the service did not replace glasses and cups after use. The coffee was also not refilled.

Although the room was fairly comfortable with all the amenities, the windows on the rooms fave people on the street a direct view into the room. The curtain had to remain closed and therefore the room was always dark. The stay was comfortable, the breakfast was excellent, but the check-in process was a bit longer than expected. The Wi-fi wasn't the greatest and could be better.

Central location. It is branded as budget, but feels like one. Corridors give a rundown feeling. Towels are super thin. No kettle nor coffee or tea in the room.

Absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Taschenbergpalais Kempinski Dresden. Beautiful, cozy rooms with vibrant design, and a fantastic bar offering creative cocktails from around the world. Everything felt elegant and well thought out. The pool was a bit cold, but overall the experience was unforgettable. Would definitely come back.

Had an amazing stay over there. The rooms are amazing, the staff really coddle you by literally making your bed for the night everyday haha The location is amazing as well, close to everything in the city. In Overall it was good. However, you need to be early to get all options during breakfast and the presentation was not the best.

Basically a solid 4* hotel. But nothing special. Large building and plenty of rooms. There were events on Friday and Saturday nights with loud music. You could hear it on the third floor until about 1 a.m. Breakfast was okay, but only standard.

Room was nice and clean. Most of the staff were great except one of the reception staff was a little rude when I went to check in; the gentleman that did check me in was great. Parking was easy and right next to the hotel and they had a HUGE breakfast selection!

It wasn't too far to walk from the central station, and the room size was just right for two suitcases to be spread out, but the water pressure was low and the shower head needed to be replaced.

Room was very organized and spacious. Beds were super comfortable. Was elated to see that it came with a free mini bar and the other services outside of the room like the fitness room was great. Sound isolation needs work between rooms. Room service didn't provide new towels. Bathroom amenities might need some work in the soap variety department.

I wanted to give it all five stars, but I was almost walked in by the waiter at around 8 o'clock in the morning... I was really scared, he just knocked twice and was about to come in. The room is big, clean and comfortable, with free drinks, water and beer, and the heating is sufficient. It is fifteen minutes away from Dessau train station, which is quite good and has a great value for money.

Stayed 5 nights, during Euro 2024. Perfect location very close to city centre (150m), just next to the fan zone. We had a suite with a beautiful view on Augustusplatz. Good hotel in excellent location, in the centre of Dessau with a very convenient underground car park (paid separately). Rooms are spacious and comfortable, however a little bit tired, for example a carpet in the room was stained. Generally the hotel is OK and I think I would stay there again.

I spent the last Thursday night of August 2024 in the Kurt Weil suite of this hotel. The room was fine, the bed and shower excellent. The best was that I was treated to a cold beer waiting for me in my room after having checked in with a 1000 km drive in my bum and the outdoor temperature at +35. Ok, not for long accommodation, rooms and path rooms are less than ordinary, nice reception and restaurant stuff specially the Indian stuff in the restaurant unfortunately I didn't know their names.

The Hotel themselve had its glorious times already, unfortunately you directly feel this. There is nearly no invest to keep the previous standards as well as no activities to improve the current situation. The carpets as well as curtains are worn out. I often use this hotel, for long periods too, and I honestly can't say I feel bad about it. Only a couple of things are certainly not at the height of the price (about 90 euros per night) and that is: too much proximity between the rooms and the apartments, from which often too loud noises and voices and above all smells come. I am in love with this hotel. The staff is nice. You can even cook in the kitchen, when you ask for it. Isn't this amazing? The only thing I didn't like is how they made the bed. We had one night in executive suite. The decor of the hotel was really cool and the overall vibe nice. Good location. Super clean. The shower of the room was lovely. There were however, a few lacks in our room: there was no hair dryer and there were only one glass for tea/coffee and there were no spoon to mix the coffee sweeteners. Also I would have appreciated harder pillows for my neck.
