as always with motel one it offers one of the best value for money experiences at gorgeous places. here in front of the famous Nikolaikirche. i had a room with a french balcony wirh direct view of the church.

Great Location. Easy CheckIn. Great clean rooms. 24h lounge. Breakfast available, if you are not fancy having something to eat you can get unlimited coffee for 2,50 Euro..

Stayed for four nights, August 2024, and couldn't fault it. It's a very good hotel right in the middle of Leipzig city centre. Clean rooms, good breakfast, lovely staff

Rooms are on the small side, basic, but who stays in them except to sleep. Go out to one of the very good bars or restaurants

Cosy place, very comfortable mattress and pillows, good cleaning service. The lobby bar is also nice.

Very good and clean place, great location, 2 minutes walk from the central marketplace.

Modern and clean rooms, the only caveat I can find is that the University is directly on the other side of the street and the rooms have very big windows - so you should really close your curtains in the morning

hotel was full with some groups ( young and old ) but we heard nothing , did not even notice. Breakfast dining and living area is large nice variety of seatings so even when busy it a nice vibe

Windows can open! TV is very technological with radio/tv/alarms. Quiet at night and very comfortable beds. Breakfast very nice on the first floor.

If possible try to get a room with a view of the Thomaskirche - it's a great view from there! I believe room 404 should have the best view

We stayed in a family apartment. Great apartment, convenient location with a car. car. friendly and accommodating staff. Everything was perfect. Gladly again :)

If you are not looking for a direct hotel in the middle of the city of Dresden, this is for you. The team were were great, and helped us with a problem. They have a restaurant with a top menu.

Unfortunately, my husband passed away in 2019, so I only have fond memories of an accommodation where no wishes were left unfulfilled!

Challenges were that most spoke only German (not english or french or spanish or czech which were languages we spoke) and weren't as thorough as we thought (it said daily cleaning which did not happen) and there were additional costs for water in the fridge which we didn't expect

Very courteous hotel staff, gladly 5*. Unfortunately, our room didn't have such a nice view of the outside - probably only the deluxe apartments have this. But otherwise very comfortable and homely

Small note: a few tea bags placed with instant coffee powder make every tea drinker happy and don't cost a fortune! ;-)

It's a very cozy hotel that tries to be outstanding by service. And they do. The rooms are a bit old style but in perfect shape and super clean. The breakfast is amazing, food and service.

The Hotel is next to a very nice and clean rooms by a very friendly and helpful staff. The buffet Breakfast for 9 euros is worth the money if you want a large selection of dishes

Great rooms and food, the Spa area is good for relaxing

Rooms are a bit outdated, but otherwise a very clean, comfy and welcoming place. The breakfast offers a huge choice and the dinner is very tasty although a tad expensive. We really liked option to book a private sauna.

After a very negative lunch experience in a large Hotel in Bad Schandau, we were looking for a Restaurant, in which we have an 85. Our decision to go with the Forester's house was in the right place

Great small family hotel with a panoramic view of Dresden. Unfortunately only until the end of 2018. Then the company will expand and, at first glance, in a not so quiet, rural and romantic area in Bannewitz

Doesn't matter for now, though, in terms of the current rating. The hotel has cozy rooms with cozy furnishings. The furniture is hand-carved (four-poster beds and side cabinets) and the rest is passable too

Especially at Christmas time, many hotels in Dresden are no longer affordable or outrageously overpriced. Here you get nice rooms with a delicious breakfast at reasonable prices

Large portions, freshly cooked, not 0815. That also justifies the not very cheap price. Price-performance was convincing

We were there for the ABBA dinner. The service was very friendly. The program was quite entertaining. The restaurant or the dining room was very nicely decorated and cozy. The portions are not too small either

Very tasty food, easily accessible by bike and very suitable for anglers. Overnight stay clean, the rooms are all set up on a motto, for example. The Goethe room or something similar, very tasteful.

There were 7 of us there and the entire terrace was empty but it was clearly too much for the staff to put tables 3 steps down so that we could see our bikes

If you consider that you can get for about 130€ for 6 people for a whole apartment. You can not complain. Very clean and we were satisfied.

Big rooms with good facilities like a small kitchen. Rooms are a bit worn but otherwise fine. Close to the center of Leipzig. Staff is friendly and helpfull. Breakfast can be bought extra and is just fine.

Parking and tram in front of the door. You get no room but a small apartment with a balcony. The rooms could swipe again, and a beautiful view, one should not hope

We ate twice this week at elbhotel bad schandau and were amazed both times. The park and rose garden setting with a comfy table and river view in the shade provided a dream place to enjoy extremely good cooking

One afternoon we had pork cutlets in mushroom cream sauce and lasagna. Tonight we had pork and chicken cutlets with a freshly made rissoto. Both meals we have to say were our favorites of the week

Rather okay value for the money, the hotel could need a bit of remake, but I guess it is charming the way it is. The beds were alright and that is what really matters when you decide to stay at a place like this

Oh and yeah, showering was quite hard, we only had a bathtub and the shower hose is really down so that you need to be very short to get all wet

These are extremely loud and reminiscent of what it must have been like during the blitzkrieg. It’s within walking distance of the train and RB Arena

Different standards than US and definitely older room and such. But the hotel is warm and has great bathroom with large tub and warm registers under every window to keep you toasty warm on a German winter night

Room was tidy and clean with a nice little bathroom but the mattress had lost some of its strings so you have to rest in a bit bent position

Very friendly staff at Breakfast there was something for everyone. Everything was very clean and well maintained.

Hopefully that will be fixed soon! Unfortunately tramline goes just under the window and due to poor noise isolation you can hear them a bit too well. Luckily there’s not much traffic in night time

Great and quite place to stay. There is a parking fee to stay at the Hotels parking lot but there are enough free parking opportunities around the area.

The rooms are big, clean and cozy. The price was relatively small and there was a good access to public transportation.

For a short stay completely ok, if you don't want to shower later that night, still pleasantly warm, because you can freshen up after a cold but beautiful new years eve night and want to heat up

Comfortable rooms although the temperature shower is random, sometimes really hot sometimes cold, like it has its own will. Breakfast is not included and it's expensive, 12.50 euro per person.

Die Gegend dort ist wunderschön. Direkt an der Elbe gibt es einen Rad- und Fußgängerweg. Er führt vorbei an den Elbhängen mit vielen wunderschönen alten Villen und Schlössern

Ich war aus beruflichen Gründen in Dresden und sollte ich nächstes Jahr wieder dorthin müssen, werde ich versuchen im gleichen Hotel zu übernachten
