Hotels in Braunlage

Very good stay can reccomend I had a very enjoyable stay at AHORN Harz Hotel Braunlage. The location is ideal for exploring the Harz mountains, and the views from the room were lovely. The room itself was clean and comfortable, though a bit dated in style. Breakfast was varied and tasty, with something for everyone. Staff were helpful and friendly, and there were plenty of amenities like the pool...

In a pinch for a night or two The view of the Wurmberg from the 9th floor was fantastic. With cushions on the chairs, the evenings would have been even more enjoyable. With better ventilation in the bathroom, it might not have smelled so musty. The breakfast service could be improved. The buffet offered no healthy options, only the bread was tasty; it took forever to reset the tables, and wiping meant...

Large hotel in a beautiful setting! Surrounded by forests and mountains! A ski resort in winter. The rooms are spacious and clean! The staff is friendly and helpful! The breakfast is extensive and well-prepared! There's plenty to do in and around the hotel! There's a sauna, swimming pool, and fitness room! There are plenty of activities for children! A perfect hotel for couples, older couples, and...

The breakfast and evening buffet didn't quite live up to expectations for a 4-star hotel. The evening meal, in particular, was rather disappointing in terms of taste, so booking the evening buffet isn't necessarily recommended.

Was a nice stay, good breakfast

A very nice Hotel ..like the USA in the 70's .very clean the Food was good...the Pool was great .. Ill be back ...the staff was always very friendly..the Rooms are large..the Hotel location is great.. there is an Indoor Playground for Kind ..and a Movie

obit the parking was a bit small. comparing for such a nice hotel, other than that it was pretty nice. nice staff, rooms location.. I recommend it

Great hotel. The single room I had was adequate but relatively small. The hotel itself is about 10 minutes walk away from the town. The staff were excellent and made sure everything within their power was right.

For the price most optimal experience! Everything one wants to wish without much extra services. - very good location in a pleasant green area near the hiking routes - restaurant team actuallly has enough people, so they are not looking stressed. They are friendly, and service is very quick and efficient. Food is very delicious and actually has flavor ( which is not always the case for German hotels...

It was absolutely beautiful, clean, and the entire staff was without exception friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was perfect, and you can feel very comfortable. In my opinion, it's a hidden gem for families with and without children. Great team, great hotel.

Excellent hotel with very friendly and attentive staff. The breakfast and dinner buffets were very good. The pool was clean and spacious. We would love to return for our next Harz motorcycle tour 👍👍

My girlfriend and I stayed at a really great hotel for a long weekend. We had a very well-equipped double room and half-board. The room was spacious, with plenty of storage space and, most importantly, clean. The food, whether breakfast or dinner, was excellent. Everyone, really everyone at the hotel, was friendly and polite. My girlfriend has booked again on the spot. I can only recommend this hotel

Anja & Han create an atmosphere that is very unique, and the location is perfect if you want to be in the middle of nature.

Very friendly host. Clean room and good breakfast

Sehr nette Vermieter, super schön eingerichtet. Sehr zuvorkommend und ein ganz tolles Frühstück.

We stayed 5 nights. Awesome hospitality, fantastic breakfast buffet, different fresh fruit salad every day, fresh crispy buns, different egg options, many cheeses and meats, unlimited coffee and tea selection. It was the best mattress we have ever slept on. The entire place is super clean, we got told that the place will be closed in November and that all bathrooms will be renovated, however our bathroom...

Sehr freundliche Gastgeberin. Wunderschöne Lage. Ideal für Harzliebhaber. Tolles Ambiente in und ums Haus. Herrlich zum genießen und entspannen.

Anja and Han - lovely hosts. They bring new spirit to this region

I booked the hotel seeing the 4 stars - and it was justified in all ways!! I think it is managed by a couple, sweet people and always there to help. The rooms were clean and well maintained and with balcony. You will see greenery as soon as you wake up. Pleasing for eyes. There is a well maintained sauna and indoor pool. We were happy to dive into the pool several times. Clean and good. If you ever...

Loved our stay here. Owners were so very kind and helpful.

A very beautiful, small, quiet hotel with a pool and sauna. The owner greets guests personally and is very friendly. We feel right at home. There are two rooms designed for dogs and their owners, both on the ground floor with a terrace. The pool is very clean and quite large. We didn't use the sauna. Breakfast leaves much to be desired! In the evening, a varied menu is offered. The entire house...

Very nice little quiet hotel with swimming pool and sauna. The owner greets the guests personally and very friendly. We feel right at home. There are 2 rooms designed for dogs and their owners. Both are on the ground floor with a terrace. The swimming pool is very clean and quite large. We didn't use the sauna. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired! A varied menu is offered in the evening. Very...

A luxurious family-run hotel with a great breakfast buffet and unique dinner options.

Very nice breakfast and the owners are very friendly

Unfortunately, there was a problem with the holiday home, but as a replacement, the owner offered us a stay at his Hotel Carlsruh. We were given a two-bedroom apartment for four people. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The atmosphere at the hotel was truly wonderful, and the owner was very friendly, personable, and always had a smile on his face. I can absolutely recommend this place – I...

We stayed there for the weekend with our toddler. It's a fantastic hotel with a very good breakfast and a fair price. There's something for everyone at breakfast; even toddlers will find everything they could wish for. Our room was very clean and a good size. The service throughout the hotel was impeccable; everyone was very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay there again. Thank...

I was a guest at the Hotel Carlsruh at the weekend. From start to finish, I can recommend this house with a clear conscience. From the rooms to renovated bathrooms, cleanliness, a great breakfast and above all the incredibly friendly operators. Everything you want as a guest. My dachshund lady was also welcomed in a friendly manner and treated very nicely. We'll be back for sure. Thank you for the...

Incredible hospitality! The stuff is very nice and helpful. Especially the owner who speaks really good English and always was worried about our experience at his hotel and trying to help at any situation! Breakfast is quite diverse with different types of cheese, ham and even salmon! The only thing I would ask to improve - we were staying in the apartment on the opposite side of the hotel and there...

Outstanding service, food and location. We went 4 persons for riding mountain bike and that worked out just perfect, with a big help from all the persons working at the hotel and we really felt like home :-) Room for the bikes, big apartment with great views and very clean. I have never lived at a hotel and felt so welcome ! Hope to go back soon !

Very pleasant stay with friendly and flexible host. Feels a bit like home in a good way.

A lovely, cozy little hotel in a very quiet location. Very friendly owners and a very good breakfast. Eggs cooked to order. Everything is within walking distance: the Wurmberg mountain, the ice rink, the indoor swimming pool, and many hiking trails. Shops are also easily accessible on foot. With the guest card, you can take the bus to other places. I really like it here! Restaurants are also within...

Perfect location in the village. Only about 5 minutes to the shops and the cable car. The owners are very accommodating. Since it wasn't busy, we were even allowed into our room early in the morning. Breakfast was brought directly to the table and was very ample. There is parking right by the building and a garage where ski equipment can be stored.

Nice & clean and a very good breakfast! Good deal for sure! Staff is friendly and supportive!

We love coming to the family run hotel. It's almost like coming home, not the usual breakfast buffet, the boss brings everything to the table and what you want. Room super clean, not ultra-modern, but no renovation backlog. New large TV's installed this year. Good quiet central location. Come again!

We had a great weekend at Bremer Schlüssel. The rooms are very clean. We felt welcome and received a friendly welcome. The furnishing of the rooms is partly not very modern anymore, but the value for money is great! The location is great too, we would come back.

there were two of us for a short break in the hotel. The very friendly owner family takes care of everything and gave us nice excursion and hiking tips. In the morning, a great breakfast is served at the table, with fresh orange juice, boiled or fried eggs (depending on your preference), everything was very clean and we didn't find it bothersome at all that the house was "a bit old". the value for...

Stayed here for 2 nights. Absolutely superb. So friendly. Room modern and cosy. Breakfast delicious and varied. Very short walk into Braunlage centre. Welcoming to bikers. Andreas let us put both motorcycles safely away in his garage. Would definitely return..

This hotel exceeded our expectations by far. Nice, clean and quiet. In walking distance to the center of Braunlage. They even had storage for our bikes there. Fantastic breakfast. And most of all: Maybe the friendliest host I have ever experienced in any hotel on the world.

We spent a week in Hotel Wappenhof, 3 couples and it was excellent! The host and his wife where very nice, open and service minded. the rooms where nice and the spacy breakfast room and also "lounge" was equipped with cold drinks and a possibility to make a cup of coffee in the afternoon. As a group it is nice to have a place to sit together in the evening. The Wappenhof is in walking distance to many...

Best hotel I’ve ever been! Excepcional food and customer service. The rooms are extremely cozy and beautiful. My son’s favorite place!

Perfect stay; VERY friendly & helpful host, very good and plenty breakfast, great location; central and still relaxed, really good room.

Hotel is so recommended! The owner of the hotel is friendly and helpful. The beds are very comfortable, the blanket was so cosy. Breakfast is the best! I want to come back again! The location is very beautiful.

Wonderful rooms. Lovely breakfast and perfect location for icehockey.

We thought it was a perfect hotel for a familly, staff was friendly, very welcoming , the breakfast was great with fresh waffles cooked on demand. We sure will stay again as we come often to Braunlage.

We booked a room with a shared bathroom but we were offered the same money for a room with a shower and a toilet that was certainly nice. the hotel is close to the mountain, and we left the car at the parking lot and walked to the elevator foot with skis. ”

Nice experiences in Harz. The hotel is small but nice. Staff are nice and helpful. The cleanliness is great.

A small and cosy hotel. Not so modern in its appearance - Reminds me of my grandparents home. But it was clean, silent, and the bed was good - The same was the breakfast. The host is friendly, but can only talk and understand german. They only accept payment in cash - Card isn't possible.

Nice furnished and cheap. Central gelegen.5min.Gehweg to the cable car.

Simple but cozy hotel with moderate prices. The operator is very nice and flexible in the allocation of rooms.

Wonderful hosts, delicious breakfast, and you can tell that the guest is the priority here. While it's not luxurious, the view is absolutely stunning. We will definitely be back. Thanks again for everything.

A delightful little hotel with apartments. Everything is very clean and the family is very friendly. The afternoon cake (Fri., Sat., Sun.) is fantastic. All homemade. The waffles are also incredibly delicious. It's worth climbing the toboggan hill to relax there. We stayed for four days and had a wonderful time. The hotel is located right next to a toboggan/ski lift hill. From there, you can easily...

Very quiet location; we had a very relaxing stay. Breakfast was excellent. A family-run hotel with a lovely, personal touch. Friendly and attentive service. They were happy to accommodate requests whenever possible. Despite the hotel's slightly dated age, its cleanliness, service, and location were particularly noteworthy. The value for money was very good. We will definitely return.

A very welcoming, family-run hotel on the outskirts of Braunlage. The rooms are modernly furnished, though the building itself is a bit dated. The couple who run the hotel are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast buffet was excellent.

Idyllically set overlooking the town with easy access to hiking trails towards St. Andreasberg. A five-minute walk to the centre of town. Extremely friendly hosts serving an ample breakfast including local produce. The room was adequate for a short stay. The Wurmberg is worth a visit. The local buses are free of charge.

Small but fine hotel in a quiet location. Nevertheless, the center can be reached quickly on foot. The owners run the hotel with great attention to detail. The rooms are very clean. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful, as well as cakes and tarts at coffee time. We'd love to come back.

Best hotel ever, it is cozy and beautiful. Food is amazing on both breakfast and restaurant areas. Would really want to go back soon and I recommend it to everyone!

Had an amazing stay here! We slept in the attic room, which was nice and spacious. The breakfast was amazing, loved the fresh bread every day, freshly baked customisable eggs, plenty of other choices like fresh waffles, yoghurt with toppings, and a good coffee machine. The lounge room was also really nice, complementary tea everywhere, and snacks and other soft drinks you can take and write down your...

Super friendly and the restaurant is fantastic. Super stylish interior and tidy, clean rooms. Sadly not very pram-friendly due to loss of stairs. Definitely recommended!

This hotel can absolutely be recommended. We have stayed her 4 people, 2 adults and 2 adolescence and we have really enjoyed our stay. The employees are competent and friendly and service minded.

the best thing about this hotel is the breakfast i think! such a great variety of tasty food and drinks. a lot of love to detail. you can even have water, tea and coffee to go. our room was well designed, a blend of typical harz region style and modern industrial style. we had one of the bigger rooms and this is needed i guess. but we missed a sofa, a proper coffee maschine (there is a kettle, tea...

Breakfast was very good. I also liked the atmosphere at the bar and the big choice of drinks. The room was also good.

We stayed here for 5 days during our hiking holiday in the Harz Mountains, and we didn’t regret it! We stayed in a lovely, spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated apartment that had everything we needed. A cozy living room with a small kitchen and dining area, a nice bathroom, a large bedroom, a small extra room, and a welcoming entrance hall. We also had a balcony. The house is located on a quiet...

Good value for money - huge place Godt sted - kæmpe lejlighed! God beliggenhed i Braunlage
