Highly recommended hotel The location is greit. A few 8 minutes walk to small restaurants and train station to Hamburg which is about 30 mins. Many available parking space outside the hotel in addition to the basement. Buffet breakfast is very okay. Rooms are still new and quiet. I did not like the soap container in the bathroom. Very hard to press to get some soap out especially when only half full

Sometimes the door doesnt lock properly and you have to close the door with force. This makes a lot of noise. For parking an additional 9.90 per day is charged, as well as 50 euro for the parking card which will be refunded when the card is returned. Why cant this be added to the card for opening the room? Personel is very friendly, and speaks both German and English

Value for money A lot of Hotel for the price. The rooms were nice and big. There was little confusion about the rooms, but was quickly handled by the reception. Breakfast was good with a nice variety.

We had a wonderful stay at the Garner Hotel Elmshorn by IHG. From the moment we arrived, Cavolin welcomed us warmly and helped us with great professionalism and a big smile. The hotel is very clean, quiet, and has plenty of space, which made it perfect for our family. We truly recommend this place for families with children, and we will definitely come back again.

Very nice Hotel with some interesting room layouts (at least top floor). Arriving at the Hotel was easy and with plenty of parking spaces it was no problem finding a place to leave the car during the night. I am missing the climate and the fridge from the rooms. The water always changing from hot to cold during shower. The rooms are clean and nice.

Beautiful and charming old school hotel in a lovely quiet area close enough to the centre of town to walk where you need.

A little Gem We travel to and from Denmark and stay here to facilitate use of the Gluckstadt ferry. The welcome is excellent and the restaurant superb. The continental breakfast is extensive and tasty and a pot of coffee is provided. There are a number of sister hotels too. All in all not one to miss. Give it a try - you won't be disappointed.

We had a very comfortable room which was clean and equipped with all the necessary tools, so you could enjoy the super friendly hospitality of the hotel.

Great location in Stade Great location but room dark and dreary at rear of hotel. The plus was, those at the front of the hotel had to endure the late night party goers.

Reception was closed at arrival 5pm, needed to call someone to get the key. Hotel insited on payment at arrival, no flexibility to cancel the second night. Not the cleanest hotel and room.

Perfectly adequate for our short stay. The hotel is spread over two old buildings so there was no lift and we had to lug our bags up the steep stairs to our room. Decent breakfast in the main building and very helpful staff. Would use again

One of the most pleasant experiences we've had staying in a hotel. The rooms were well equiped and modern. The hotel looks like a ship on the inside and also resembles like the decks of a ship. The staff is very friendly and always available to help. Would highly recommend if you are in Stade!

Kind staff, comfortable rooms and good service. Its location was, for me, one of the highlights: located just 10 minutes away by walking from the city centre, and right by the river, where you can walk along or even practice some water sports.

I still haven't visited the hotel, because I recently moved to Stade and I already have where to sleep here. I am just passing by and from outside the view is beautiful.

The hotel has a corny touch of the eighties but also very spacious rooms for European standards and it is superbly situated in an ally = QUIET. As always in Germany breakfast is superb.

We had a great trip and the hotel was just what we were looking for as we were visiting family close by. Driving distance to downtown Hamburg is about 30 minutes

Room was clean and good. But the man on the reception should talk better with the guests, he has rude attitude. They charge 10€ per day for parking, and there is no alternative. It's not so close to the central, but if you have a car it wont be a problem.

It was just a short stop because we were on our way from Norway to the Netherlands, but the hotel was very flexible, both in checking in after opening hours and checking out before opening hours.

Nice place to stay Its a small boutique hotel in a residential of Hamburg.Train station short walk but infrequent trains. Breakfast only but restaurant short walk also.Very friendly staff. Beds firm, singles with uncomfortable pillows and duvets is my only complaint.

The hotel is nice, but it is not worth the 200 euro a night for a family of 4. We did the family room and the beds where the hardest most uncomfortable mattress ever. The room where very clean, clean linens and towels, and the parking garage requires a lot of patience, it's underground and if you drive anything mid size and up I would park it elsewhere. It's right behind a farm and next to a burnt...

The hotel was in a quiet location. The beds were single, on casters. The mattresses were outdated. When the beds were pushed together, dust and dirt were visible. The red carpet was unhygienic. Standard but clean. The reception was friendly.

Great place for either a short stay or some sports. Many tennis courts indoor and outdoor, 3 squash courts 15€ for an hour 👍 and a fantastic massive gym, outside heated pool, shower area and dressing room is 5* and massive. Large outside free parking. Reception staff was very friendly and helpful. Will be back very soon 😉

Automated check-in possible. Quite convenient. Refridgerator, but no mini-bar in the room. Snacks can be bought on a truster basis near the reception. Mostly quiet hotel with spaceous rooms. The cleaning personnel comes around 11h and is quite noisy. Free parking with no additional costs. All in all a recommendation for a trip to Hamburg or Schleswig Holstein.

Easy access to Hamburg Airport We used the hotel for an overnight stay for an early morning flight from Hamburg. Check-in was easy after hours when their front desk is not manned. The hotel was very clean, the location great and the access to the airport the next morning was 5 minutes. Several good restaurants are nearby. Would use again and recommend!

The setting surrounded by the horse stables was wonderful. Place was clean, spacious and nice. Automated check-in was a bit surprising but worked well...I wonder how it would work if one had a problem?

Great little gem in a terrific neighborhood

First- There is no air conditioning or ceiling fan. It was cool at night, but the air doesn’t get in unless you lose all privacy. Room is typically small, but manageable, also clean. Pillows were ridiculously soft. We did not get the breakfast, there are cafes nearby. There is also a Rewe across the street for snacks etc. The office is not manned 24 hours. It’s in a lovely location, walking...

Really easy to find and had its own free parking. Room was a little hot and the bed wasn’t the most comfortable. Breakfast was ok.

This was a cute house, rooms are upstairs. Located near Aldi grocery store which was convenient. Plus was also free parking and quick check in. Downside: room needs a deep clean. No mattress protectors. Only 1 pillow per bed - Needs 2 pillows per person. No Shampoo/shower gel - Bring your own. Also placed the card on door for Do not disturb - guy walked right in at 9am. Unacceptable for guests...

The place is right across to the S Bahn, bus and some other stations. Practical but very noisy. You choose your own preference :) The building is a bit old and smelly. But the hotel room itself was clean.

Noisy and worn-down Noisy, very close to the railway and busy road. With no air-condition the windows needed to be open which made it difficult to sleep well. The indian restaurant in the same building was great!

On a Saturday in October, we were the only guests around 4 pm. (??) The dining rooms are very neatly furnished, although a constant, faint hum in the main room slightly mars the otherwise good impression. The service was friendly and quick. The food was tasty and plentiful. It's a shame the cubicle in the men's restroom is so cramped...

I went to the Alte Schmiede restaurant in Jork on 08/20/21 with my wife and my in-laws and we all enjoyed it very much. We were welcomed very friendly on site and shown to our table. We were also served very friendly and attentive afterwards. The starter platter was good and plentiful and we also enjoyed our respective main dishes very much.

I was there with friend and we was more than satisfied with everything, great dishes and great personel.

The check in was very swift; I received an email few days prior to my trip, asking to check in online and provide my documents. I complied and got a confirmation. Online check is not a great hospitality start. Feels very unpersonal.

The room 302 was super warm and had a bad smell when we arrived. Also shower had a leak somewhere. Opened all windows and turned off the radiator. Bad smell was there whole stay. Beds great, breakfast great and staff very nice to us. Gym ok and spa looked good.

Nice and affordable if you only need to sleep. No breakfast included. Staff is nice, but people might be loud and drinking alcohol (depends on the mixed dorm if that's what you booked). Bunk beds are low, careful not to hit your head.

Pros: The kitchen has everything you need and reception was 24hours. The rooms were kept very clean too. Cons: Bathrooms and showers are on another floor than the bedrooms. They charged my for the sheets but I later found out they didn't charge anyone else in my room for sheets so I think I got ripped off

Halfway through my stay so far. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable (and don't make too much noise—nice when you're the early bird of the room) and the kitchen is well-equipped. My only two gripes are that the location is a bit out of the way (the street it's on is primarily an office park and residential area, but it is still easy to get into town or to the shops via S-Bahn) and that there...

리셉션 직원이 츤데레이십니다. 말은 굉장히 불친절한데 정작 행동으로는 다 해주셔서 혼란스러웠습니다... The reception person was not so kind. He spoked in not very pleasant way, but he actually helped us a lot. For example, when I was struggling with a coffee machine in kitchen, he approached me and said the machine is not for guests. (Then why is it in the common kitchen without any sign?) But he helped me fix it and made me coffee by himself...

I stayed in different hostels in Hamburg and this one proved to be the best option so far! It is much cleaner, everything is quite new inside. There is always enough safe parking right across the property if it is full inside the frontyard.
