Uncomfortable beds, room was vaguely clean but still lots of cobwebs.
Front desk tried to get me to pay for the room again even though it had been paid for through *******. This happened several times despite ******* calling the front desk - eventually it was sorted, but it took a lot of my time chasing it. To be clear, the ******* support was very good - it was the hotel that was the problem.
Breakfast is poor (for the price).
I would not stay here again.

Unfriendly staff
Very unpleasant stay.
Worst hotel on our two-week trip. The beds were extremely uncomfortable – we could feel the springs. It was hot, so we opened the window. Around 9 PM, reception knocked and told us to close it. Our dogs barked briefly, as dogs do when surprised.
We slept poorly but neither I nor my light-sleeping husband heard them bark again. Still, the next morning, the receptionist accused us of disturbing the neighbors all night. When I asked what he wanted us to do with that information, he just repeated the complaint with a rude and unprofessional attitude.
No other hotel during our trip had any issues with our dogs. We do not recommend this place.

I had an absolutely delightful stay at this charming hotel in Elmshorn. From the moment I arrived, the staff were verry friendly and proffesional. They made me feel right at home and were always available with a smile to assist with anything I needed. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the town center, yet the hotel feels like a peaceful retreat. The highlight for me was the beautiful garden behind the hotel – immaculately maintained, full of greenery and flowers, and radiating such a sense of calm and tranquility. It was the perfect spot to relax with a coffee or just enjoy some quiet time. My room was spotless and comfortable, and the modern bathroom was a real bonus – clean, stylish, and well-equipped. Everything felt fresh and well taken care of. And the breakfast? Outstanding! A delicious variety of fresh, high-quality options that really got the day off to a great start. This hotel truly has a special charm, and it’s clear that a lot of care goes into every detail. Without a doubt, I’ll be staying here again the next time I’m in Elmshorn.

Value for money
A lot of Hotel for the price. The rooms were nice and big. There was little confusion about the rooms, but was quickly handled by the reception.
Breakfast was good with a nice variety.

Need a course in service
Arrogant rude staff, e.g. so in the middle of my check in it was interrupted with the receptionist starting to text someone. we accidentally slammed the door with the key left in the room which I said at check out and apologized for, later got a call from another at the hotel who scolded me for forgetting the key.
I have probably never been treated so badly when I stayed in a hotel before.
Totally ok beds and breakfast for the price, otherwise poor standard.
Will not stay at this again.

Stopped here on the way to Denmark in late December. Nice hotel, with good size room and bathroom. Everything clean, breakfast was good as one expects in Germany. Nice easy walk to the centre, where you will find a selection of bars/restaurants.
