The rooms are great, and the service is unobtrusive. The location is debatable; in the off-season, the fields weren't worth a photo, at least not for me. There's a small Edeka supermarket and a standard Aldi (?) a 5-minute drive away. If you need more, Burg is also relatively quick to get to.
The main reason for my review is the abysmal experience I've had with other vacation apartments in the area. From broken Wi-Fi and water damage to landlords being unreachable for days, I've experienced it all.
Here, everything works. It might not be mind-blowing, and I find extras like the sauna and breakfast a bit pricey. But even on good days, I only eat a roll and an egg at most. Those who enjoy a leisurely breakfast might find it worthwhile. It certainly looked good.
But you have a modern, comfortable apartment and absolutely no stress. Because everything works. That's often not the case in the surrounding area.

Everything was exactly as expected! 😁 The cabin room was upgraded to an apartment with a kitchen, living room, and a huge balcony. That was a fantastic surprise! 😁 We received an incredibly warm welcome from a very friendly and attentive service manager! Breakfast is amazing; they have everything you could possibly want. Everything is lovingly prepared and a feast for the eyes and the palate, and again, the service is excellent and more than attentive! ❤️ No wish goes unfulfilled here. The spa (pool and saunas) is also fantastic! The showers in the sauna area are sensational; we especially loved the Caribbean storm 😉. The relaxation room was also impeccable, and all the saunas were wonderful! We'll definitely be back for a weekend! 👍❣️😁

It was good stay, BUT we had an incident where our room keys stopped working for our locks (we had a dinner and came back to the room at 21:00).
There was an emergency number to call but no one answered that number. We ended up waiting for almost one hour outside. Lucklily our next room neighbours came home and we could climb over their balcony and do a break in thru a window into our room.
We told the staff the next day and apperently it was the battery in our door that failed so it had to be replaced.

Well. It is a great place close to the Boat ferry over to Denmark. Good restaurants nearby. Breakfast fine. It was built 2018. So it is very new and fresh. A bit different as there is 7 two storeys houses with or without balconies. A good place.

We had a pleasant stay at the Avalon Hotel Bellevue. The room was fine, although rather basic and nothing special. Unfortunately the bathroom wasn't completely clean; There was thick dust in places, which somewhat spoiled the overall impression. The hotel complex itself is beautiful and quiet, ideal for relaxing and yet relatively central on Fehmarn. However, there are hardly any options for going out or doing things in the immediate area.
The absolute highlight was the breakfast – a very rich selection that left nothing to be desired. The staff is also extremely friendly and attentive, which made the start of the day particularly pleasant.
Note: Room signage could be improved: while the ground and first floors are well marked, signs for the second floor are missing. Our room was also very warm, well over 21 degrees, even though the heating was off. Unfortunately, ventilation was difficult because the window kept closing on its own and the skylight was too large to leave open overnight.
Overall, a nice place to relax if you don't need too much hustle and bustle nearby!

Very nice hotel with several houses. Rooms are nice and spacious. There is a wide selection at breakfast so everyone can find something to eat. Anyone who complains should watch their breakfast at home.

Excellent breakfast. The hotel is very quietly located within walking distance of the coast and the village. It is a large domain; Since we were there outside the high season, there were no big crowds.
Upon arrival, the person at the reception seemed to only speak German, so we received very little explanation.
