Would definitely come back.
Great experience, only stayed for 1 night but already looking forward to coming back another time. We stayed in the large house, it was wonderful, room was great and the whole estate was wonderful. The only small improvement that could have been was to have mosquito net on both windows to ensure you could have had both open at night as it was a bit hot in the room. Great service, smiles from everyone working at the hotel. Its a hotel out of the ordinary!
It has been the location for the "Immenhof" movies from the 50's, perfectly restored to todays standards.
Have been there several times for coffe and cake on the terrace located right on the shore of the lake.
Definitely worth a visit, free parking available as well.
My wife and I spent a weekend in April here and although the weather was not perfect, we had the most amazing time in this place.
I already knew the restaurant because I had been here twice before with a very close friend who lives in the area. Because of that and because I knew Gut Rothensande before it was renovated and turned into a hotel, I had very high expectations. And just let me say, that all my expectations were exceeded by far.
Me and my wife shared a Garden Apartment, which was a two bedroom house, with an open plan kitchen, diner and living room in the ground floor and two double bedrooms on the first floor. It had a private terrace in the backyard, with table and chairs and a direct access to the lake, which, to be fair was still way too cold in April.
Everything inside the house and in the whole resort was finished to a very high standard.
The breakfast buffet was probably the best I've ever had, the dinner served in the restaurant is outstanding, the cocktail bar in the main building is very stylish and serves exquisite cocktails.
But the absolute highlight for me and my wife was the Spa area. A very idyllic place with stunning views across the lake, very quiet, very serene. Just exactly what we were hoping for.
On top of all that, all the staff was super friendly and always very helpful.
it was our first Tim here at Gut Immenhof, but deffinetly not our last time.
