Romantik Hotel Friederikenhof Restaurant & Spa in Lubeck

Love this hotel. Introductions to the Romantik brand. It’s quaint and cute. Well preserved. The evening restaurant on site is by reservation. So would recommend making reservations. They will take walk ins. But they tell you. The food here is $30 a plate level. It was a little salty for me. I also have low salt tolerance. Love the included breakfast. Wonderful selection of bread …real bread, not the stuff in America… smoked and preserved dishes, eggs, sausage, bacon, fruit, yogurts, cereal, vegetables, coffee tea juices. This place is located 20-25 mins outside the city of Lubeck. If you want quiet and country lanes…you will get it. I stayed for three weeks for work. Loved it. The walls and door are bit thin. I can hear talking, walking, main building is very echo-y. The comfort rooms in the middle building are really quiet. There’s only 3 rooms in that building. Still full stars. The staff can’t do anything about it now. General pretty quiet. Sometimes during the weekend if there’s parties you will notice it. It’s beautiful here and very safe.

It's like a small pearl. Lovely interior, kind and helpfull stuff and great breakfast. Rooms are big and comfortable and clean. We travelled with dog, and they had also wellcoming it.

Beautiful quaint hotel with excellent food and even better massages! We stayed in room 44 and the room was spacious and quiet. The grounds of the hotel are simply beautiful. Dinner was mouthwatering and breakfast although quite simple, very fresh and tasty. Our massage therapist was excellent!

Beautiful area.

We travelled from the US to this lovely country inn for a family reunion. It was wonderful. The staff was welcoming and helpful and the location so very peaceful and beautiful. There were beautiful grounds and the reunion dinner at the restaurant was delicious. Breakfast also had an extension selection, and everything was fresh and tasty. It is close enough to Lubeck that you can to into town to tour but it was great to come back to this peaceful inn at the end of the day.

It's a beautiful property for a quiet rest, so long as you stay at the property as there is nothing else in the area within walking distance. Spa services were not as advertised, and had to be booked an hour in advance, and were not the same hours as listed - closing at 6PM instead of 9PM, with massage having to be booked even further in advance.
