Good place for staying for a few days, too bad there are no bathrooms here

We were here with an entire swim team, and it worked really well. It was exactly what you should expect from a jurgenherberg, and the staff was very accommodating and nice. It is well suited for larger groups, while still being nice and clean.

Good in service, Big and clean rooms, after 6pm you can not get this rooms, Delicious Breakfast..

I know it doesn't look like much, but for a hostel it was perfect. No noisy bunk beds. It was warm and clean. Not too much noise. Hot showers. And the breakfast was decent (buffet style) with bread, cheese, ham, cereals, yogurt, a few vegetables, coffee, tea, something I think was juice (didn't try, I just drink water). Nothing fancy but enough to get you proper fed.

Great location overall. Very friendly and helpful staff, plenty space in- and outside to relax. You can borrow a key at the front desk to get back in anytime. WiFi is free but only available near the entrance. 5 minute walking distance to the historic city center. Snacks and drinks are available in the lobby. The rooms are clean but the bathrooms are not the cleanest just dirty but not gross. There is a washer and dryer for use and wifi in the main dining room. Breakfast is provided as well.

Room was clean, price very reasonable for a 5* and so close to city centre. My only gripe was the noise level given the room location - I was close to the inner hotel area, 1002, and bar music & chatter was on until midnight, also the location felt like a thoroughfare, either the staff was vacuuming outside or people walked past talking loudly, etc. All ok and normal but I do think the room door needs...

God parkering (22€ pr. Døgn) service er ok, værelser ok. Seng hmm. Morgenmad er ok men området er for lille, nogen henvises til førstesal som kun indeholder 50% af munü af stue etagen. Men alt ialt et fint ok hotel men absolut ikke fem stjerner. Kort afstand til det gamle Lübeck, shopping og historie. Lübeck er god for 2-3 dage.

A very good high class hotell in a perfect location, close to the city centre. The room quality is very high. The staff was amazing... they really did everything to take care of us. The breakfast was heavenly good. It's a bit pricy to stay here, but if you want to spoil yourself, this is a good place to do it.

In our multi day trip around northern Germany, this was our favorite hotel. Fantastic location close to all of Lübeck attractions, great breakfast, comfortable bed, nice room, great service. Loved it.

As we did some visits it was strategic in the right place. Other then that - fire alarm during the night, not working safe in the room - there are better hotels in Lübeck.

Old hotel and rooms need a renovation and better soundproofing. Location is excellent and paid parking available on premises.

Great location for visiting the tourist attractions. Very close to train station. Friendly staff, comfortable room, very quiet at night, nice bed linen and comfortable bed. Very clean and good value. Would certainly stay here again.

Great location for exploring the city and xmas markets

The hotel is perfectly situated in the aldstat area. Close to museums, churches and restaurants. St. Petri church is next door - take the lift to the observation deck to see a beautiful 360 degree view.

We liked the hotel so much we extended our stay. The staff were amazing. We felt valued as guests and would happily return to the hotel. The room was well appointed. Comfy bed, air conditioning and mini bar.

We paid extra to have a purported suite with city view that turned out to be facing another apartment building with no view. The room description was very misleading.

Very practical location and parking facilities. The reception/lounge area very simple but OK. Rooms exactly as described, but the glass shielding of the the toilet/bathroom facilities are not “private” enough. Restaurant personal seems not educated and the wine/drink menu was only partly available. The chicken was not properly prepared. Breakfast was super.

A nice hotel close to the city with a super view, 8 floors. Okay breakfast and dinner. The staff are very service minded and sweet. If you have a dobbelt room, don't be shy. The hole bathroom area is frosted glass walls. You see and smell every thing 😋 We had a great stay.

A simple hotel next to the station. Tiny gym but they do have a small sauna. Ok breakfast but was very busy. It’s a 20 minute walk to the old town. No on-site parking but cheap parking behind the hotel. Friendly front desk. Small bed, large bathroom in my room.

Well pointed room, clean, spacious with high ceiling and sound proof windows. Comfortable bed and good breakfast. I’ll definitely stay here again next time in lubeck.

Great hotel, but unfortunately a bit too remote for me. The only way to get to the city center is by car or bus. I have a disability. If I could walk properly, I'd go back anytime.

Accommodation facilities acceptable but reception asked us to move two single beds to form a double bed even though room set out didn’t quite fit. Limited information provided on check in but did provide a kettle on request.

Nice hotel, and nice service, friendly staff, but the distance to the center was further than I realized. Due to roadworks and roadblocks, it was a pain to visit the city, and a couple of bus drivers who were absolutely not helpful did not make it any easier.

Very large and well-kept rooms, great amenities, including a microwave and two hotplates in the room. The location is a bit out of the way (about a 45-minute walk from the center) but very quiet. A big plus is the public parking directly across the street.

I stayed at Tryp Hotel for two nights with my dog. Friendly, problem-free check-in, the room was very clean and furnished perfectly fine for the hotel category. The bed was comfortable, everything worked in the bathroom, the TV ran without any problems with great programs. This place is across the central train station but it managed to stay quiet. It is very close to a lot of the sight seeing areas and restaurants. Very convenient. There is also free parking if you are checked in. The interiors are modern and the rooms are clean. We were there as a family of 4 in Thier family room and it was just the right amount of space.

I was on a business trip, and everything was good except the noise. I heard the people in the rooms around me and the street traffic. Maybe it would not have been so bad if the room had a view of the internal yard. The location is perfect, and if I need to return to Lubeck, I will use it again.

Perfectly located, quite, the room was really nice and the staff was lovely. Great breakfast and a quite environment. Nice public rooms to spend time in during the early morning hours when the rest of the family was sleeping.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. It's in a great location close to the station and the center. The lobby area is beautiful and calm and even has a play area for children. There is a wonderful sauna area that you can pre-book fre of charge as well that I highly recommend. But the best part is the friendly staff that made the stay very pleasant. This is nowy go to hotel when I visit the city.

A lovely hotel with friendly staff very handy for the railway station. I had a comfortable, clean single room. Plenty buses into town or a 10-15 minute walk. A large choice for breakfast from a buffet and a waffle machine. I was able to leave my bag to head in to town for a bit on the day I left.

I stayed 2 nights in Hotel Lindenhof on each end of a long ferry trip to Helsinki. The location is perfect, as the train station is 3 blocks to the Hotel, with the bus stop (to the ferry terminal) in between. The hotel is located very good, on a 5-10 min. walk to the old town. It is a little difficult to find a hotel parking lot. The hotel is on a one -way street, and the entrance to the courtyard is passing the hotel's entrance. Staff very kind. Everything was very good. The price may be for a 3-star hotel a little too high, but as well 4 stars could be given to this lovely hotel.

Good location if you are with a car. Free parking on premises or the road. Booking directly is reasonably cheaper than through booking site. Beer house just 10 minutes walking - Where you should try DAB & wurst with curry.

A quiet, safe, and clean place to stay. You could also try to walk to city center if you don't mind walking for about 20 minutes.

The hotel worked out very well for us. We were travelling on so needed a hotel that was easy to get to by car with easy parking and the hotel was perfect in that regard. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and everything was clean and up to date with a large room. It's a little bit of walk to get into the centre of Lübeck itself, but that was a trade-off we'd already made when booking.

Nice stay, but check inn took way to long. Newby? Nice, stayed at many HD inn express can’t say the check inn was express took +10 min, but overall I was satisfied.

Experience was mostly positive, only negative was we had a dirty towel hanging in the bathroom on arrival, but when we brought this to the attention of the reception staff he was very apologetic and gave us a drinks voucher with the new towels. Bed was comfortable, but the room was a little too warm.

The rooms at Ibis are spacious and comfortable.

Lovely hotel with good access to old town. Single room expensive for the very compact room and bathroom but was very modern and nicely appointed. 20 min flat walk to rail station, bit far with a head wind and heavy luggage. No lift, steep stairs but staff help with luggage.

Friendly staff who helped to organize an ironing station, just a 10 min walk to the old town, modern bathroom although quite tiny, comfortable bed but “German” big pillow was too soft for my taste.

Simple clean rooms. Mine was a real double-sized bed (as opposed to two twins that are often pushed together) and came with a water. The breakfast for 13 euros is good for the price and service at the front desk was friendly. I am happy they provided real hangers in the rooms. Exceptionally nice staff who make everything possible! We were able to stay in the hotel even when there was no space. Beds were carried in the room with covers and bedlinen. The breakfast is awesome and rich. The owner showed us around after the breakfast in the most biodiverse garden I have seen with birds, bees, butterflies, well smelling flowers.

This is a small family owned pension. The rooms are a bit small. There is a lot of stairs and no lift. The breakfast is in a lovely sunroom. The beds are very firm and the bathrooms are a bit small. If you're looking for "creature comforts" this is not for you. The staff/owners are wonderful and will go out of their way for you tho.

A nice hotel for a short visit, I toke a room for one ,placed on the 3th floor, there is no elevator , parking place by the hotel for free, location is perfect , close to the train and buss station, 12,5€ for breakfast a drank only coffee which a got for free.

Well located for the train station. Short walk into Lubeck. Room was quiet. The single room was quite small but more than adequate. Bed was comfortable and the shower facilities were fine. Breakfast was very good and reasonably priced. The stay as a whole was very good value.

This little hotel is a gem! We booked one night for its convenient location near the train station and relatively inexpensive rate and weren’t expecting much, however we were pleasantly surprised by everything here, especially the above average breakfast offerings that were included in the nightly stay. We liked it so much that we decided to stay another night.

It was conveniently located near the station and in front of the bus terminal.

We chose a budget hotel. The price was low. The hotel is quiet, the staff is polite. Delicious hearty breakfasts, which were not included in the price, but the price justified itself. Delicious bread, cheeses, fresh coffee, juices, butter, eggs. Everything for a hearty breakfast. The rooms are small, but there is everything you need.

Hotel has everything what expected, location is also very good, quite close to city center which is accessible on foot. During our stay there was problem with towels, we had just one for 3 persons. I personally liked it, but there is a lot of room for improvement here as well. The room for improvement could be used creatively. There is quite a bit that can be improved immediately. Plants, especially more trees should be considered as a possibility.

Stayed there for a week, rooms were clean, only problem that I have faced with was language, they are not good at english, this was a bit problem for me. I could not understand how to enter to hostel, then I figured out using password allows you to get in.

Stayed here for one night with friends. The art used to decorate the hotel is original, mostly oriental and pretty interesting. Staff is helpful. But the location is pretty odd. The hotel is an old building, no lift, no luxury, everything really simple. The staff are great, they are polite and very helpfully. It was my son's birthday and they organized a small cake, candles and a small present, made my child happy. They have a good breakfast as well. Really nice Service at the Restaurant

The architecture/interior design will leave you staring with mouth wide open-not exactly in a positive way. The building is a cube and inside there is a mix of medieval style furniture, Asian style, modern style and simply everything over each other. Room was very clean and bathroom was big, but the bed was making so many noises it was difficult to fall and stay asleep. Staff was friendly.

Very nice hotel. A little on the pricey side. Very clean. Bed was OK but not more. The hotel is spread through several houses, you might have to walk to get to the lobby and breakfast room. Breakfast was extremely nice due to the wonderful staff, so attentive and friendly, it was the highlight of the stay.

Excellent service, nice room, healthy and plenty breakfast. Ideally situated. Smack in the middle of Altstadt, everything in walking distance. If you are by car as we were, make sure you reserve the parking well ahead. Be prepared to drive around the city, it takes a while to make it through the maze of one way streets.

The placement of the hotel is very good in the center of old town but close to the main bus road so a room away from the road fixes that. Otherwise fresh and clean rooms with plenty of space and big bathroom.
