A charming historic building with modern updates. Absolutely lovely, friendly staff, comfortable bed, beautiful view, perfect location.

A wonderful hotel in Lübeck. Good location: 20 minutes from the train station, the old town and the riverside 5 minutes. Everything within walking distance. The room had a nice floor and the room was otherwise elegantly decorated and the bathroom had loose soap, a small bottle of shampoo, body cream and a shower cap which are no longer available in hotels, as well as a free bottle of water when I arrived at the hotel. The house itself is very nice and the yard was really beautiful. Breakfast was served to the table, 2 breads, coffee, cold meats and fruit. Basically enough. The hotel reception opens at 3 p.m.

Staff members must have thought we were the King and Queen of Sweden (who once stayed here). At least that's how they treated us.

THE place to stay in Lübeck Altstadt. Very cosy hotel close to everything. The outside and the inside is from the year 1216, but very modern rooms. Very attentive and kind personnel - feels like home. Breakfast is a bit sparse, but 100% organic.
