Hotels in Bremerhaven

Very nice hotel with a great view! The breakfast selection is huge, with plenty of delicious options to choose from. Also the restaurant for dinner was great!! Highly recommend!

I've been on the viewing platform only, very nice especially with a binocular, and cheap, just 4€ with an automatic machine just before entering the elevator.

Great hotel and friendly staff. The restaurant and bar are exceptional. The breakfast buffet is top notch

Pretty standard hotel. Good, friendly service. Decent breakfast. Expensive bar.

Wonderful place. Amazing location!

Great ocean view Very nice hotel with wonderful view to the ocean and the harbour and great maritime surroundings - unfortunately swimming from the beach is not allowed because of un-clean water. There is no gym - only a small room with a bike and two running machines Breakfast is 27€ if you have not pre-booked, which is ridiculous

Good rooms. Great beds. Okay internet. Good showers. Good parking when it is not arbitrarily taken away by an event next door. Location is a bit further away from most things, but the occasional farmers market event, which is great.

Great hotel. Location and service and friendliness were amazing. I wish I could have said this about our event hotel too ;-) I would always go again. Highly recommended.

We stayed here only for a weekend, two adults and two kids below 12. The personnel is available but pretty "relaxed" let's say. The room is minimal, clean, not much "accessories/ services" included. During our first night in, we suffered a shortcut only in our room 🤯 so, at 22.30 we expected 1h for the receptionist to change our room. So, lighting from year 1400. For breakfast, we got also gluten-free...

Very average, overpriced for what you get. You pay here for location, not a lot else. Rooms are ok, hotel average overall, very limited communal area (just the foyer), the 'bar' looks like an afterthought added to the end of the reception desk, breakfast pricey for what you get, staff ok but expect no more than thr average german customer service. No aircon in the rooms, which were already feeling...

Basically, I have been happy with the Nordsee Hotel so far. I booked it primarily because of the gym next door, which is included in the price. Overall, the hotel is showing its age. I couldn't really sleep on the first and second night of my last stay because the window was completely leaky and there was a loud draft. When I asked the next day, I was told that the caretaker couldn't do anything, they...

Schone kamer, temperatuur was warm, check in en out was prima. Ontbijt was goed.

Lovely stay. Very welcoming and great location.

Better then described! Comfy quiet rooms

The staff were helpful and fries. The breakfast was good. The city is walkable and the hotel is located centrally to all amenities.

Best decor for a small hotel in a small city.Sensetional

Very comfortable, clean, helpful staff.

Room on harbours side has brilliant view, breakfast fine but not FREE, more expensive than other similar hoteĺs. Room only cleaned and beds made once in 5 days. Taxi not informed of destination thus unable to to take us.

We had a room with balcony, it had a wonderful view over the docks, close to a lot of resturants. Very highly recommended

Cruise Port town with more to offer The Liberty Hotel had a nice breakfast bar and was in a great location There are NO freebies my friends, don't touch the water aso. Some guest service personnel are friendly and an asset to the service industry, others are defensive and almost rude. That being said they likely had to deal with loads of grumpy customers who come through in great numbers because...

Nice location, handy parking with EV charging available. Comfortable and roomy room, didn't;t like the split bed (2 singles making up a double) but a gap in between. Would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful! Beautiful hotel. Great views from the decks, great saunas that are free of charge including the robes. Rooftop bar was nice and made a good cocktail.

Location is great But very soft bed's Only single bed's and the great roof top bar was closed on 2 days for private events.. the only chance to get some drinks was in front of the checkin desk. The Bar was one of the reasons why I booked that hotel. Very friendly staff.

Very nice hotel! Nice restaurants around the corner, three minutes walk to a shopping center. Nice staff, great breakfast buffet, nice bar. The rooms are good but the beds are like cement blocks (at least it was in my room).

Great location. Excellent service and breakfast!

Great location, very friendly staff. Basic, no-frills (there is not even a kettle in the room). Make sure you get a room facing AWAY from the library because in that street, some - presumably homeless - people congregate, which of course they are allowed to do, but they make a lot of noise, and they have a dog that barks all the time. An utter nuisance from early morning till late at night.

Wonderful place to stay, right in central Bremerhaven. Very comfortable rooms, great service and an excellent breakfast bar to start your day. Multilingual staff for non German speakers. A wonderful indoor smoking room that is well ventilated, bring a Cigar or buy one from a well stocked Tobacconist right around the corner. Make it a place to visit, you wont be disappointed.

A centrally located hotel. The family room was large and everything was spotlessly clean. Bathroom with natural light. The breakfast buffet was well stocked. The rolls from the bakery next door were delicious. Staff very friendly. Lots of things within walking distance (including air conditioning and the emigration center).

I did enjoy a short stay in the hotel next to the columbus center. The check in was fast and staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel staff could help fast to arrange another room, because of some door lock issues. The room is clean, spacious, the bed is comfortable and the internet speed is ok. There is a wide range of food options for breakfast. overall I had a pleasant stay.

Decent hotel. Larger beds are just two twins pushed together. Decent showers. Good breakfast. Good internet

Very comfortable and clean hotel with parking, breakfast is good with a lot of varieties.. the staff are very helpful and nice.. 1 star missing because of A/C

There was no safe in room although other rooms include a safe. No telephone in room. As a longer term visitor, felt the need to communicate with hotel staff without traveling to front desk.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good and lots of options provided. I would stay again.

The room is clean and the breakfast is good

Very kind staff, cozy rooms and overall the best hotel in Bremerhaven :)

Et super sted at overnatte, hvis man som os skulle til Ishockey i Bremerhaven..

We were very happy with our family room. We had two separate bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other one with a couch bed. Not very spacious, but okay. Both rooms were separated by a door. The bathroom was quite tiny for four persons. We could store our bikes in a locked shed. The breakfast as well as dinner at the restaurant war delicious! The staff was friendly and helpful at all times. There...

We booked the hotel for a short stay in Bremerhaven. Unfortunately only one night. We booked a family room with a dog. We got a kind of suite. There are two rooms, a double bed including an extra bathroom. In the main room there is a sofa bed, lots of storage space and a second bathroom with a bathtub. There is also a kitchen including a refrigerator, we didn't know that beforehand but we were thrilled...

The hotel was good. The noise had nothing to do with the hotel and came from car posers who apparently had meeting points nearby.

Good hotel for bicyclists Very nice hotel located on outside of town. Rooms are very small however it was very clean, quiet and bed was very comfortable. They have a very large bike storage garage however it can only be accessed between 8am and 8pm. Breakfast was fine. All staff friendly and helpful.

I enjoyed my four day stay at havenhostel. The room was large and comfortable. Everything was clean and bright. The location was walking distance to cafes, museums and shopping area. The front desk agents were friendly and very helpful. I will be back!

This property is highly recommended for a short stay (1-4 days).

Interesting building, friendly staff, good bike storage. Ground floor rooms only had blackout curtains.

Everything was good. Thanks! The front desk attendant was super friendly. The room was very clean. The location is quiet, and even though it's not very central, you can reach everything easily on foot or by bus.

Centrally located, close to the harbor. Clean rooms. A bus stop is nearby, and there's a 24-hour supermarket just 50m away. Friendly service and a 24-hour front desk. Large, well-lit parking lot. Breakfast can be added on. We'll definitely stay here again when we're next in Bremerhaven! 👍

A perfect base for cycling trips along the Weser, with a 24/6 Edeka supermarket conveniently located across the street. On-site bike storage is available, and rooms are equipped with a fridge, dishes, and a kettle.

Nice hotel near the harbour. Very friendly staff and quite good breakfast.

The rooms were basic, but clean and functional. The staff were lovely at each interaction - extra points there. The layout was odd, but easy with the elevator. Breakfast was a reasonable price and had a decent selection. We chose to park on the street just outside the property to save a few Euro. We will use Amaris on our next trip to Bremerhaven.

Very Nice hotel at a Good location. About ten minutes walk to the center. The hotel is clean. The room is big. The staff is friendly. Breakfast is Great, there is a lot of choice and it taste very well. Tip: Auswander Museum. One minus: warm room: no airco.

My experience was very good in this hotel, the lady at the front was really helpful. Although there is not much English explanation there, but when I had a technical trouble in my room, Manager came and helped me out soon. If I go back to the city, I would like to stay there again.

Great choice In Bremerhaven Excellent Hotel in convenient location Comfortable, clean and spacious room. Good breakfast Professional staff

The best experienc ever ... Very nice hotel, staff is super friendly and everything is clean 😎. Bis nächstes Mal Amaris .

I read other reviews and can agree with some of the criticisms in theory (gloomy architecture, potentially noisy, possibly hot). However, I stayed at the hotel on a week night in mid-May, and did not experience noise issues, and the outside temperature was perfect for having the windows open. The bed was comfortable and the room was nice. As other reviewers stated, the place is quite clean and the...

This hotel is far better, cleaner, and cheaper than any 4 or 5 star hotel I've stayed at in the USA. Breakfast served on porcelain plates, none of that Styrofoam crap you get at Sheraton for $200 a night and a lame waffle with fake syrup.. I'll gladly stay here again. Only improvement I see needed is a WiFi signal booster, that's it. Great hotel.

So very clean! Felt like we were a valued guest.

Nice clean Hotel, good breakfast and amazing people. 100% recommended

clean and quiet, very friendly service, good breakfasts.

Good location, and very easy to reach with bus from train station. Good breakfast, nice rooms, quiet despite being close to road

Nice, cosy and quiet hotel. My single room was small but perfect for a two-night stay. Breakfast. in a comfortable and quiet room, was excellent. Personnel was very friendly. I can warmly recommend for a short stay

This is the place to stay when you're in town My room was very nice the staff was overly friendly had to leave early the next morning they packed me a lunch and had it ready me when I left definitely recommend

Easy to get to and nice rooms!

Close to train station, bakery across the street, close to buses.

Very nice and polite reception staff.

Nice breakfast. Will come again

We had to extend our stay in Bremerhaven by one day and only stayed at Hotel Columbus for one night. The rooms are clean. The breakfast buffet was a pleasant surprise. It offers a large variety of breakfast options from German rolls, cold meats, cheeses, jams to cereals, yogurt and fresh fruits. Staff is very friendly. We forgot a charger in the room and the hotel called us right away.

Very nice rooms with large bathroom, amazingly friendly owner and staff

Clean. Friendly owner and staff

Amazing hotel. Clean and very friendly all the staff.

Pleasant hotel with very friendly service, the heating problem was solved immediately. The rooms are clean, well-equipped, the internet is very good, breakfast is also tasty, I recommend it.

Good rooms, great breakfast! Cosy place.

Location on the water. The hotel is actually partially build on stilts. Parking available on the dock. No restaurant fr dinner, but there are a lot of restaurants just a 2-5 minute walk away. Breakfast is good, rooms are clean. Staff is friendly. View is nice.

It's a perfect hotel for a business trip. Located near the industries, right next to the river (great view), it's not expensive, they have a smoker's area, the rooms are modern, comfortable and clean, the bar is open until late, breakfast was really good and the staff were truly kind. Also the bathroom/shower was really nice and it was silent. We rested really well. We will definately stay there again...

Excellent hotel with beautiful river views! The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of choices, and everything was fresh and tasty. A great stay at the Best Western Plus in Bremerhaven!

Very friendly and knowledgeable front desk staff, my room was available earlier than official check-in time at no additional cost. Room was spacious and bright, bed very comfortable with high quality linen. Located in a nice area with a pedestrian zone and many restaurants.

Very nice hotel in a quite touristic spot. Excellent breakfast.

I recently stayed at the Best Western Plus Bremerhaven and was highly impressed. The rooms were spacious, modern, and clean, offering a stunning harbor view. The staff was friendly, and the breakfast had a great variety. The location is ideal, close to restaurants and attractions. My only minor issue was the slightly slow Wi-Fi, but overall, I’d rate the stay 4.5 out of 5 stars. Would definitely recommend...

It excellent place to stay for vocational I liked it nice attendant keeps it up with a lot of games

Positive - Competitive preis, breakfast included (in place or to take away - lunch packet). Very friendly staff. Nice place for overnight stay. Good facilities but I did not have time to enjoy it. Towel available with deposit at the reception. Soap available in the room's toilet. Place for non-smokers. Negative - The duvet was too small for winter period. The bedding was self dressing. Hotel has only...

The room was functional and clean, perfectly fine. I was happy because I was able to book it as a last-minute option. I found the self-check-in with a code convenient and easy. The area isn't exactly central anymore, but it's okay. What was really great was how easily a special request could be resolved over the phone. I would come back. The lobby is very nicely furnished and cozy.

My stay was thoroughly enjoyable, not least thanks to the warm and personal service from the team: Both the older and younger staff members communicated brilliantly with each other and with me as a guest, without any sense of urgency. The suite itself was a dream: Room 14, my lucky find, is connected to the breakfast room via a direct doorway – a real insider tip! Free parking, a covered outdoor terrace...

It is commensurate with the cost of payment, kind staff and good cleanliness, facilities are sufficient to meet the needs. The stairs to the second floor are very steep, a toilet for tall people is problematic on the second floor

Nice place, late check-in without any problems. Good breakfast

Very nice hotel, new renovated rooms, friendly staff, super breakfast-even salmon and fruits. Sometimes in the evening there is no personnel at the reception, but you can enter the hotel anytime with your card and call them if you need something. Wifi everywhere and for free. I can recommend this hotel for 100%

Location is just perfect .. very convenient to move around. Room was narrow but .. good for one person Staffs are wonderful and helpful

All in all, it’s a nice and fairly inexpensive hotel, but the parking situation was quite awful. The parking lot was full (and now costs €10), and after asking several times where we could park overnight and charge our electric car, the receptionist was unable to give us an answer

Located at enbankment 6 minutes from the museum of German migration. Wellfunctioning functional hotel. The breakfast is solid, lot of vegan options. The staff is kind and professional. The breakfast room is small.

Rooms are small but adequate. Beds comfy although not used to single. A fridge would have been Handy when staying several days. Breakfast a bit pricy but lots of choices.

The room was clean but quite small. It lacked basic amenities like a refrigerator, kettle, plates, or cutlery. However, it was quiet, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was equipped with soap, shampoo, and towels. Be aware that the hotel’s private parking was full and needs to be reserved in advance, though there is a public parking lot conveniently located next to the hotel. The receptionist...

Very good location. A lot of restaurants and bars are very close by. I liked the room service who made sure I had fresh towels whenever I needed and made the bed. Breakfast options were good. However, after staying there for 13 days, I felt that you could do more with the breakfast and introduce some hot items like crepes or sandwiches.

Third floor, ugh, but a nice guesthouse. The toilet could perhaps be improved, because without electricity, and early in the morning, you'll be unpleasantly surprised. You won't notice the noisy street at night. For the location, amenities, cleanliness, and price, I would have given it 5 stars, if it weren't for the toilet. What a shame.

Very nice, spacious apartment. Actually very clean (except for the black mold in the corners of the bathtub, which had simply been covered with silicone – this could have been avoided with proper cleaning). Very friendly landlord and a good location in Bremerhaven. Good value for money. Highly recommended.
