This hotel was conveniently located a 7 minute walk from the DB station at Jena West and a 1 minute walk to the street car station. It was also located at the central mall great for coffee and breakfast. I went to a Jena Basketball game this was super convenient!

Newly renovated, so it was better than expected. Wish it had an air conditioner, because summer is just too hot to stay without it these days.

Amazing hotel in a great location in downtown Jena. I travel a lot and had some of the best sleep ever in this hotel. The breakfast is awesome and at a terrific price. I was pleasantly surprised to find three kinds of gluten free bread here, something unprecedented anywhere. They also have a decent restaurant that serves dinner. Their steaks are grilled to perfection and are certainly among the best anywhere. I hate those two nights in a row. Overall, one of the finest hotels I’ve stayed at in Germany.

Very nice hotel. Located next to shopping mall and in the middle of the city. We were staying on the 8th floor. The room was so quiet and the bed was comfortable.

Great breakfast, staff mainly friendly, except staff on check out who were rude and dismissive of concerns. The room is awful as I hardly slept for 5 nights, averaging 3 hours a night, as its so hot, even with windows open in winter. I asked for a summer duvet and for something to be done, nothing happened. Ironically the bed is very comfortable, but the pillows are awful and the duvet too thick. Gym could be great but has some strange looking equipment, some of which I didnt understand, and the machines are juddery. Highest free weight 7.5kg, useless. Tip, you dont have to use the car lift, you can enter car park from the main car park for the shops. I also said I didnt need new towels etc every day, but that meant my first evening salad was left festering in the bin for 5 days, I thought they might clean a bin at least once. Overall a disappointing failure as a place to rest your head.

I have been a guest of this hotel for around hundred nights in total. I believe it is the best hotel in Jena for a business trip or to visit the town. I prefer to have a room with a balcony and many times they have been able to give me one of these rooms. Also, I really like the breakfast and the omelette that is especially prepared for me in the morning.
