The staff were wonderful, especially Γιώργος (George), and the cleaners went above and beyond, even closing the shutters to keep our room cool

Our room had a small kitchen hidden in a cabinet with a stove, fridge, and sink, which we used often and highly recommend. Book a seaside view if you can, it’s worth it

We stayed here with my parents and were amazed when we arrived, the hotel sits right across from the beach in a perfect location

The pool, set between two buildings, was sheltered from the wind, though a bit cold in the mornings since it was shaded

I booked a room with a private jaccuzzi on the patio because my wife has muscle issues and we were walking alot. When we checked in the jacuzzi water temp was about 32c. I turned it up to 38c where ours is at home

I’ve been to Egypt several times, where hospitality is unmatched, and I never thought I’d experience something similar elsewhere. Christina Beach Hotel comes close

The location is very central, close to a good range of restaurants and bars and the beach is a 10 minute walk away for anyone who doesn’t have a car. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending a stay here - first class in my eyes

My stay at the Mirtilos studios was nothing other than fantastic!! From booking with them directly (excellent email communication) to arranging the airport transfer was seamless

On arrival (late night), there was clear communication to check into our room. The rooms are very clean and spacious, showers are amazing and the beds are very comfortable

Really enjoyed our stay here, already hoping to go back next year. Very quiet, often pool to ourselves, staff brilliant, very clean rooms and hotel.

The air conditioning is quiet and works efficiently. The pool is stunning, and there are lots of sun beds and cabana’s to sit on and a great bar area

Spacious space with a large outdoor pool. The surrounding area have lots of nice restaurants and stores.

The breakfast was good, the coffee excellent, the parrot was so beautiful and the lady turkey with her chick were a bless, the garden is also a dream and the view was one of millions!!!!

Don’t believe all the bad reviews. The apartments were clean and looked better than in the pictures. Host was helpful, perfect for a one night budget stay. Our room had a spacious balcony with sea view.

Friendly family operated hotel. Extra 5 euro for air con so on a strict budget it gets pretty hot in the rooms. Considering the price, it was a more than adequate stay for a night or two in kissamos

We had a wonderful stay at Sapphire Blue Suites & Sapphire Horizon Suites. Perfectly located in Kissamos, it was a peaceful escape from the busy crowds of Chania while still being close to some of Crete’s best beaches

The wonderful ladies working at the hotel greeted us so kindly, each and every day, and truly went above and beyond in their service. In order to truly explore beyond Kissamos, you definitely need a car

What a gem of a hotel! If you are looking for a place to stay in the Chania region close to the best beaches in all of Crete, but not directly in the touristy area of Chania old town, look no further

Great place after a disgusting disaster at Balos Beach Hotel. Sapphire had wonderful staff and big apartments with huge balconies and water views. very comfortable beds and a washer in the apartment

The suite was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the hospitality made us feel right at home. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay on the west side of the island

The atmosphere in this place is amazing! The apartment was new and clean, the host Mariana was very nice and always available to help and the position was perfect to reach the sea or kissamos city center

Everything was nice, furniture and accessories of good quality and the place was equipped at a level we never seen before, with literally everything you need during your stay, including things like coffee, olive oil or umbrella and towels for the beach

Reservation was made through booking and they contacted us few days before the trip in order to make sure we can easily find the place and also guided through the shelf check-in process as we were to arrive during the night

I was really well instructed about the location and how to get there. On the spot, we were warmly welcomed by Mrs Marianna - mother of the host. She showed us around, responsed for every little question we had

The real highlight is the breakfast: rich and varied, with both sweet and savory options. On request, they also offer gluten-free choices, with great attention to all dietary needs and food intolerances

Later we have seen each other few times during our stay, everytime she was really kind making sure if we need anything, even shared some homemade treats when we've met on the rooftop the other night
