Mr & MRS White Corfu Couples Retreat Adults Only in Acharavi

When we were shown the room, we were most disappointed with it. The shower was blocked with a build up of scale and it would not turn on. We called Reception to get it working and ended up with a trickle of water... The toilet seat underneath was broken at the hinge and filthy but having just called Reception we were reluctant to make a further call. The bathroom was not clean and it was a disappointing start to our holiday. We complained to Olympic Holidays when we returned and their response said because we didn't raise this with the hotel at the time then we must have made the mess ourselves! My photos are date and time stamped. "The hotel note that, based on the images, the room appears to have been used prior to the photographs being taken, and as no complaint was raised at reception during your stay, they do not accept that this was the condition of the room when allocated to you." So I have been accused of lying! Avoid this hotel as other reviews will tell you the same...

Dreadful hotel and dreadful response when we complained Hotel is badly maintained,dirty and in need of refurbishment Worse still pool was out of action for days a disgusting green colour, hence they didn't open the smavk bar or bar in evening !! Loveholidays offered &166 as compensation .. What an insult !!!

We were so disappointed with this hotel. We had been looking forward to this trip for a long time. On arrival at first sight this looked perfect. Quite relaxing everything we hoped for The first day around the pool the sunbeds were the most uncomfortable beds we have ever laid on. The other beds were badly stained and didn’t want to catch anything from laying on them. The next day we came down to breakfast to what seemed like a swarm of wasps. Most of the food was uncovered and wasps were landing on all of it. When we asked for the eggs to be warmed up we were informed by a member of staff that the warmer that the eggs was in was broken so the eggs couldn’t be warmed up. This continued for the whole 2 weeks that we were there Then we looked at the pool. OMG. It was like a swamp totally brown and the jacuzzi was exactly the same. We were told the pool would be fixed by 12 pm but it took 2 days it then worked for 1 day and then was out of action for a further 2 days The rooms were not of the standard of a 4 star hotel more like a 2 star hotel We have never given a negative review before Please think carefully before booking this hotel

Well, where should I start. Our room was very basic. You could hardly move in the bathroom, and the handle was loose and made a lot of noise. When you have a shower, the water goes everywhere, so the design of the bathroom is not good. We didn't have a hairdryer, and everyone else did. The sink was not in the bathroom and never had cold water coming out of the tap for brushing your teeth. We stayed for 12 days, and the pool was out of action for 4 of those days, which was disappointing. The sunbeds were uncomfortable and falling apart. The big cushion type lounges were falling apart, too. The breakfast was nothing special. It was the same every day and it was boring. On the website it shows really nice food. There were wasps everywhere on the food. The good thing about the hotel was Jenny at the bar. She was friendly and had good English. She made brilliant cocktails, not the usual ones. She made them up and were yummy! We have made friends and will keep in touch. I think the manager didn't really care about how the hotel was looking and didn't really listen to the complaints we were making. I felt very sorry for the staff and they looked sad and fed up. This could be a really lovely hotel, if they maintained it. If they had a proper dining room and kitchen, they wouldn't have the wasps problem. Yes, it's lovely to sit outside, but sometimes you just want to eat food without wasps and insects.

Where do I start! I’d shopped around looking for a really nice hotel for a few nights away ,I came across mr and Mrs whites which was advertised by love holidays as a 4 star rating , it was barely a 2 star ! On arrival we were greeted by a really nice member of staff who showed us around the outside of the hotel, informed us of the closing times of the snack bar the bar and where to get the sun lounger towels etc We then had to carry our suitcases up three flights of steps, which in fairness was fine for us because we were able to do so but seeing other guests that were there said they had really struggled! The next day we were met at the breakfast area, by a family swam of wasps eating all the breakfast! I asked the man at the snack bar if We could purchase a coke cola he said sorry the bar doesn’t open until 1pm ,which is absolutely ridiculous! So we had to leave to go eat and drink elsewhere which cost us extra money . The bar had limited alcohol and the fridges were never stocked up, and they ran out of ice . They ran out of the alcohol we were drinking so we had to go to the local cash and carry and buy the alcohol and Ice! The only saving grace was the bartender jenni who was really nice and helpful. The swimming pool turned into a swamp and the jacuzzi was brown, they pumped it out three times and it wasn’t accessible whilst we were there so we had to go to the beach everyday due to lack of available facilities! The room was ok apart from the shower didn’t work very well, but it was clean so that was the main thing. The pictures advertised on love holidays were nothing like the real deal I felt like I was sold a dream and it was very disappointing and it wasn’t cheap for the 4 nights we were there! Mr and Mrs whites needs some tlc and needs reviewing or needs shutting down, before anyone else wastes money on this hotel !

WARNING, this hotel is not as advertised on its website and by Tui…. It may have been nice in the past but its well past its time and has had no money spent of it with the owners and Tui turning a blind eye and then unwilling to help. When we booked we didn’t expect a top class hotel but this is not even a 1 star hotel…. From the moment we arrived the bar had limited drinks and did not restock, no ice with one guest going and buying ice for the hotel to use, the rooms and facilities are old and worn with externally poor cleanliness levels across the whole site. The loungers old and stained behind anything that I would dare sit on. Breakfast… again we didn’t expect much but the levels of quality and hygiene standards was not something that I was going to eat in fear that I would be ill for the entire holiday, so instead left the hotel with my family early eat out (which is a cost we didn’t expect to pay) and stayed away from the hotel as long so possible as it was so upsetting. We came together as family for the first time in 14 yrs and it turned into a holiday hell…. The pool has been out of order since my second day and currently looks like treacle and no one allowed to enter, the hotel keep saying it will be sorted but were now on day five of no pool tomorrow. Everyone at the hotel was experiencing the same issues and extremely unhappy, if you have a holiday coming soon I would be trying to change it FAST… The rooms are in poor repair, my door didn’t lock and took four days to repair, towels with stains on, and was no pool towels on day one which was blamed on supplier. All there of rooms front doors look like they have been prised open and robbed which is worrying sign. Do not expect the food that is advertised on the hotel website, what you will get is a tuna wrap that is mainly Mayo which my 12 year child could have made way better and safer to eat. As I said we didn’t expect something that was amazing so I’m not one of those you is just moaning, please take my advise and stay away…. If I could have posted more than 10 photos I would have just to show how poor this hotel really is currently. Shame on you TUI and owners for ripping off guest who have paid a lot of money and is not as advertised…

We stayed here for one night before an island hopping week long experience. It could be that the room we had is used for short stay however, it was not clean especially the bathroom. The shower wouldn’t work properly and the toilet was very dirty. Staff were welcoming and the pool area was pleasant. Breakfast was good.
