Ifestos Hotel in Mirina

Great location, near the beach. A nice walk to the city centre. Rooms very clean, refurnished. Great AC and balcony door shelter. Employees are extremely nice and helpful. We had breakfast and there was a plenty of choice.

We spent a week at Ifestos, perfect location close to the beach, very good service and helpful hosts. Good wifi, the bathroom could use a little upgrade.

Wonderful small hotel with very friendly, attentive and helpful staff. Just a five minute walk from there to a pleasant beach. Picturesque center within ten minutes walking distance. This hotel is warmly recommended for tourists who value genuine and honest hospitality.

200 meter to a great beach. About 10 minute walk to where Myrina shopping street starts.

Great staff, not much of a pool and quite a good breakfast for being included (egg, omelett, bread, greek yoghurt, etc.)

If you are looking for a 5 star hotel for 500e a night, this place is not for you! If you are looking for the best beach location and food (Manos beach bar and restaurant), best hotel value in Lemnos (around 100e) and the most eager to help husband and wife team (George and Friday) this place is for you! Also, breakfast is included along with an impeccable underutilized swimming pool and a huge balcony. We stayed at this fully booked hotel for 10 days in August with our 7 year old son and 2 year daughter and couldn't have been more satisfied! The sweet girl Norella, working at the breakfast buffet even offered to make us Greek coffee every morning. we didn't know that it's included for free and frappe and bottled water too! Any requests we had about the room, like hot towels or changing the bedsheets, were happily provided by the staff. It's true, the hotel is a little dated but we found out that every year they are continously making efforts to improve it. They recently upgraded the hot water system to solar panels, installed brand new LG LCD tv's in every room and added Wi-Fi range extenders throughout the hotel. The only problem we had the first night we got there we're the freaking mosquitos!! Somebody forgot to close the balcony sliding door and when we entered I had to kill 4 of them. Sorry bug lovers but it was either me or them! When I complained to the receptionist Vasso, she immediately provided us the plug in type mosquito repellant and it worked like a charm. Also, the bed mattress was a little firm, which some people may like but we prefer a softer memory foam type mattress. Definitely coming back here next year in July! If you can, avoid August it's crazy crowded!
