For travellers who are looking for basic accommodation and like to do their own thing, Calypso Bay is a great choice! The apartment is a good size and offers everything you need. The double balcony of #33 we had, was a fantastic bonus. From the second we arrived we felt in good hands by manager Jan, who takes very well care of the place and is always at hand to help out. The real 'plus' of Calypso Bay is its location: smack in the middle between the town of Pigadia and the wonderful beach, both at either side of your doorstep. In addition, the large supermarket nextdoor with coffee bar offers everything you need, and we had great pleasure in arranging our own breakfast every day. In all, a highly recommended place and special thanks and compliments to Jan: your kindness was refreshing amidst the generally quite grumpy locals...

Coming to the end of another lovely stay here. Once again apartment was lovely, well stocked and spotlessly clean.. Lovely view of the beach and well maintained gardens to relax in.. Thanks to all. Jan, Sevesti and Lume for making it a relaxing stay..

Another wonderful stay at these apartments, spotlessly clean and fitted with everything you need. Jan the manager could not do enough for you and you could see by reactions of other guests how well she was loved.. Seveste the owner was lovely and helped me out a lot as well.. Calypso Bay is a very nice hotel. The view from the top balcony is amazing. The two room apartments have a lot of space. The service is very fine and I want to recommend this hotel to everyone who might be going to Karpathos!

Shops, restaurants, bars and the central beach of Pigadia are all at a very close distance. The studios are spacious and clean and include a kitchenette with utensils etc.
