We visit the Allimounda Mare at September of 2025. As i whrote the experience was very bad. The cleaning of the hotel was very bad at all the comon areas and at our room too. We stay for 4 days and nobody all these days change our sheets and our pillows cases of our room. The sheets that we found at our arrival had visible stains , which make me uncomfortable. When i checked in i found the bathroom had not been properly cleaned,with hair and grime in the sink and shower. For the price and the hotel reputation i expected a much higher standard of cleanliness. Unfortunately i can not recommend this hotel and hope management takes steps to improve their housekeeping standards.

What a beautiful resort. The accommodations, the view, the facilities are all top notch. We enjoyed our time here immensely. It was hard to say goodbye. We highly recommend this hotel.

The setting was beautiful, everything was so clean, food was amazing and I’d give Jenny 10 stars if I could! She arranged a driver for us to get to and from the beach we had an amazing stay!

The hotel is excellent, offering spacious rooms with all the facilities you need, and a nice balcony overlooking the sea. Breakfast is very good, with plenty of options to choose from. The pool bar serves beverages, food, and cocktails to enjoy while relaxing in the infinity pool. The hotel is within walking distance of the town of Pigadia. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Karpathos.

As soon as I arrived at Alimounda Hotel, I was greeted with smiling faces at reception, who made me feel instantly welcomed. And I was offered a Greek treat upon arrival, delicious. Later on when I went down for dinner, I was greeted by the beautiful Eugenia at Customer Relations, who made me feel like part of the family. Eugenia went above and beyond to make sure my stay was exceptional! I can’t thank her enough for her kindness, expertise and professionalism. At dinner and breakfast I was made to feel like a star by the charming Mr Evangelos, Mr Stelios and the lovely Maria! Thank you for your high quality service and Greek hospitality. I had a beautiful time, thank you again !

I would like to commend the level of service and courtesy that the hotel staff provided us, especially the reception manager, Mrs. Flora. The cleanliness is amazing and at the highest possible level. The level of service and cleanliness and the good food gave us a pleasant experience that is not to be missed. I would also like to mention and praise Mrs. Yevgenia, the hotel's customer service manager, who provided us with professional and courteous service in finding attractions and activities on the island, finding rental cars, and more, with an excellent and generous level of service. We have been coming to Karpathos with my mom for 5 years and always tried different hotels, but Alimounda Mare was by far the best – with its beautiful beachfront location, spacious and clean rooms, wonderfully kind and helpful staff, stunning infinity pool overlooking the sea, rich and delicious breakfast, relaxing wellness facilitie and much more. The overall peaceful atmosphere that made our stay truly unforgettable.

You will find many magical places to stay on this island. but if you want high European standards on a small island like Karpathos, then this hotel is right for you. beautiful location with fantastic pool area. located only 6-10 min easy walk to the center. crystal clear water with a bit of a challenge with climbing on rocks, but easy with swimming shoes. the staff is great, rooms and beds are good. Breakfast is standard + have worked in many good hotels myself, and this hotel is probably the best in terms of facilities on the island. rental car makes it easy to get around everywhere. but AliMounda will be your best choice off base. thank you very much for us in room 236 with kind regards Bruseth family
