This was a really lovely hotel, there was a lot of variety in the food with restaurants in the hotel open until late at night. The food was really really nice. There were really nice pools and a lot of activities to do. I'd definitely come back again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Mitsis Alila as a family with two kids! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The hotel is stunning, spotless, and full of great activities that kept both adults and children happy.
The kids loved the pools, the slide, and the entertainment, while we enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and fantastic food choices. There is something delicious for everyone, and the variety is truly impressive.
What really made our holiday special was the staff. Every single member of the team was friendly, caring, and always ready to help. They treated our children with so much kindness, which meant a lot to us.

We stayed at Mitsis Selection Alila for several days. While the hotel itself is beautiful and well located, our experience was unfortunately not as relaxing as expected.
Some of the staff were unhelpful and unfriendly, especially one man working at the beach bar (around 45–50 years old, dark hair tied back and beard) who was quite rude and only seemed attentive to certain guests. Another staff member in the main restaurant was also impolite and impatient.
There was constant noise in the hallways — loud children, doors slamming, and even staff knocking several times a day while we were trying to rest. Twice during the night, the fire alarm went off at 3 a.m., and no one came to explain what was happening.
The food variety was limited and repetitive, and some dishes looked like leftovers from the day before.
Overall, it’s a beautiful place, but for the price and reputation of a 5-star hotel, the service quality and organization need serious improvement.
We hope management takes these comments seriously — the hotel has potential to be amazing if they truly listen to guest feedback.

Excellent service and amazing food. Service top notch!
Biggest let down was the sofa beds for the 3rd and 4th occupant. These were not anywhere near a bed standard. They are concrete hard and the most uncomfortable place for anyone to sleep. This needs to be changed. Although adults can fit in them - I recommend this is looked into as the sore backs and necks were so bad from the lack of bed for the teens.

I cannot say a single bad thing about this place. The service is impeccable, the food is exquisite, the hotel is stunningly beautiful. I think this is one of my favorite hotels in Europe. The beds are very comfortable, the drinks are so delicious. It was just a perfect holiday, and we will definitely be coming back again. The hotel is amazing!!! Dont think twice!!
Everything - the hotel itself is beautiful, the room had a perfect view to the sea. Just like the photos.
There is a big variety of places to eat at, food quality was good!
Most importantly - The staff was always very nice and willing to help!!! and it was crucial to our stay. Just as an example - Nestor from the team was incredible - he helped us with the baggages and gave us a really good feeling. Thank you !

Not a 5 star hotel! Couples avoid
I was quite disappointed with my stay at this hotel. It is certainly not a 5-star property and, in my opinion, not suitable for couples.
We were a couple traveling to join friends who were staying at the same hotel with their two children. During booking, the only available option for two adults was a single mountain-view room. The photos on the hotel’s website looked decent, and being advertised as a 5-star resort, we decided to proceed with the reservation.
Upon arrival, we were escorted to our room and were immediately surprised — the entrance door was so small it felt like walking into a storage cupboard. The room was located right next to the housekeeping area, which was noisy and disruptive. Inside, the room was extremely small, and the bathroom was so tiny that it was difficult to use the shower or toilet comfortably. The window was also very small, making the space feel even more cramped. It looked nothing like the photos on the website.
We went to the reception to request a room change and were told that no alternative rooms were available until the next day — even though we offered to pay extra for an upgrade. When we returned to our room, we noticed that the bed sheets were not clean, which was unacceptable.
We contacted the manager, who informed us that only two rooms were available: one was a disabled-access room and the other required cleaning and maintenance. We viewed both options and reluctantly chose the disabled-access room, as it was at least more space.

My wife and I stayed at the Mitsis Alila hotel for 6 days last week for a relaxing vacation by ourselves.
The hotel surpassed our expectations.
The Alila is a luxurious 5 star all inclusive hotel. There are so many options for food. In addition to the main dining room there are a number of unique restaurants. Greek , Asiatic, Italian, Brunch, Wok, Tex Mex, Pita ,Food truck on the beach etc. The food was very tasty and there were an abundance of different possibilities to try. A favourite is the Creperie which offered amazing desserts throughout most of the day. The different bars throughout the hotel also offered top notch brand name alcoholic drinks.
The service from all the staff is outstanding and responded quickly and positively to any request.
We had booked a room with a view of the beach, but upon arriving received an upgrade to a room with a private swimming pool.
The room was well designed but did show some signs of ageing.
There also was a shortage of USB and USB-C outlets in the room which really should be rectified .
The public pools were great including a heated adult only one.
All the public areas, the lobby, the sun decks, the grounds and the hallways were continously being cleaned.
In summary the Alila is probably the best hotel in the whole of Rhodes
We are definitely going to return next year.
