2 star hotels in Aegina Town

The first picture on the website shows fetched umbrellas with lounge, chairs, and the beach behind it. Did not see that anywhere where we were staying. They want you to think the beach is very nice, but it was OK.

The staff was very friendly. The apartment was very clean. It has access to a quiet little beach. That is really nice a little bit rocky FYI. Just around the corner, you have plenty of options for dining even a couple of supermarkets The place is easy to find and perfectly located to go around the island to visit.

We booked last minute and had an early check-in. Was very easy with Trip.com. We had a blocked shower drain with our first shower and they moved us to a different room-fast. This was great! We slept well on comfortable bedding. The balcony was comfortable with captain's chairs and a large table. Breakfast was amazing with fresh fruit, bread and cheese and cold cuts. Eggs and a fresh salad...

The apartments are in close proximity to both the beach and restaurants.There is a fruit and vegetable garden on the property! Everything we could need was accounted for.

Just returned from a lovely stay! The staff are soooo lovely, the food is AMAZING especially the fig pizza, the room was clean and the bed is comfy, cleaning staff came everyday to take rubbish and top up loo roll! Air con was spot on! I have no idea why this hotel only has 2 stars I would say its 4 star 100% the only thing missing was a swimming pool! We had our 1 year old little girl with us and...

Staff were really friendly and the room was clean, same with the toilet. Building’s a bit old but well looked after. Super close to the beach and main town, with loads of shops and restaurants around. Breakfast’s available, but there are plenty of other spots to eat within a 5-min walk too.

Me and my sisters got this place last minute for two nights and we were shocked by how KIND everyone was there. Best staff I’ve ever met in any hotel I’ve stayed at. And let’s talk about that BREAKFAST with enough deliciousness to stuff yourself full, it’s even healthy, and it was cheap, so let me tell you it was way worth it. I stayed at Hotel Aegina for a week in October 2024. The rooms are kept really clean, All the staff, both front of house (Maria, Sofia and Vagelis), and those cleaning and doing breakfast, were lovely. They helped arrange a great car rental too. A pleasant experience during our stay at this hotel, which offers clean, bright rooms with a sea view. The hotel is located right on the waterfront, just across from the port. Lovely family run hotel in a prime location. I see a lot of negative comments about the run-down state of the building and rooms. And sure, it's by no means modern, but I think it adds character and for the price you pay you really can't complain. People running the hotel are lovely and the rooms are clean and air-conditioned.

Sweet good place to eat. Small beach tavern cross the street from hotel. Traditional Greek menu. Hospitality family owner. Maybe colours of walls and table's is not in the greek blue-white patterns but I recommend it. Homemade baked Pistachio 1kg = 10 €, 500 grams 5€. Just for U info: Pistachio's period is September.

Great stay! We found this hotel as one of the last available options on the island. Very pleased with the friendly service, clean and comfortable room, the grounds and breakfast. It is a 10min walk from the ferry port and just a few minutes away from the closest beach. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Stayed here for a night however we were so satisfied by the clean facilities the amazing service and stunning view. This hotel misses nothing from a 4 star hotel. Absolutely recommending this.

Owner/manager very friendly. Couldn't do enough to help us. Room was huge and very reasonably priced. Only a 10 minute walk to the port and main town area.

Big, cozy rooms with a genuine Greek feeling. Not the most modern, but that only adds to the genuine feeling. The pool area could be nicer and the pool could have been cleaner, but with the amazing and super friendly owners everything is forgotten.

You get what you pay for. Clean beds, helpful owners. Wifi not great. But a good cheap place to stay for the night.

Prime location in the centre of town and close to all amenities. Excellent service- nothing was too much trouble :) Pool clean and well laid out. Rooms cleaned daily, hotel tidy and breakfast decent. Would highly recommend at this price!

Really nicely located, building with a great potential, but needs some renovation and could be a bit cleaner. Yet, a really good option for the price demanded.

Amazing location, affordable price, beautiful and clean hotel with a pool, and lovely staff! The friendly owners went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome, especially Spyros. They were simply impeccable! We even ended up staying an extra night -- definitely highly recommended. Will stay there again!

Thank you so much for the warm welcome to Hotel Yianna! The room was amazing, we loved it! Super convenient, 5 mins to the beach and local tavernas, shops etc and of course the food at Alter Ego, the onsite restaurant was delicious! Stayed in family apartment with 2 teens in high season. Large space. Great aircon. Great position in town, easy walk to the port, beaches and food. Very friendly hosts who really looked after us. Breakfast and food at restaurant was amongst best on the island. Highly recommended.

We spent a very pleasant 7 days in the hotel. Many thanks to Isidora and her family, and to Tasulla, they were really nice, attentive hosts. Lovely place at a wonderful location. The staff was very friendly and helpful and went around our schedule. The room itself was clean and had all the necessities. 2 weeks we had here in the summer with 7 of us visiting our family. The hotel is very traditional they have a bar and breakfast area, parking facilities. The rooms were very well equipped clean every day and the staff are so kind and helpful and that's what u bed when ur on holiday. It's lovely and we highly recommend it. Miss Vasilike who runs the hotel is wonderful and so caring! Going out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and she even added more of the things we liked for breakfast. Always smiling, always polite. The hotel is spotless, I can't emphasize enough how clean everything is. Located at a quiet spot in the trees but also very close to the beach and stores.

The family that runs this hotel is extremely welcoming. The daughter greeted us every time we walked in the door. The breakfasts are delicious and filling! It’s very clean, with new sheets and towels every day. It’s located on a quiet street about a five minute walk from the main drag. The price is very affordable! I highly suggest coming here!

An excellent hotel with friendly, helpful staff and a great breakfast. Our room was spacious with air conditioning, comfortable bed and a balcony overlooking the sea. The pool area is a great place to relax and the pool bar serves food as well as drinks. We will be back.

Very quaint, nice, clean hotel. Location is ideal from the port and promenade. Good beaches nearby. Staff is very helpful and caring. They were able to arrange an island tour for us and provided a map and sights to see within the town. Excellent breakfast in a very relaxing atmosphere. Courtyard is perfect to enjoy an afternoon drink. Recommend this hotel while staying in Aegina. Great value!

Located 5 minutes walk from the harbour (slightly uphill) in a quiet residential location. Very comfortable rooms and staff were really nice - friendly and helpful. Really good Greek style buffet breakfast, top quality and loads of choice.
