Staff were really friendly and the room was clean, same with the toilet. Building’s a bit old but well looked after. Super close to the beach and main town, with loads of shops and restaurants around. Breakfast’s available, but there are plenty of other spots to eat within a 5-min walk too.

Me and my sisters got this place last minute for two nights and we were shocked by how KIND everyone was there. Best staff I’ve ever met in any hotel I’ve stayed at. I stayed at Hotel Aegina for a week in October 2024. The rooms are kept really clean, All the staff, both front of house (Maria, Sofia and Vagelis), and those cleaning and doing breakfast, were lovely. They helped arrange a great car rental too. The first picture on the website shows fetched umbrellas with lounge, chairs, and the beach behind it. Did not see that anywhere where we were staying. They want you to think the beach is very nice, but it was OK.

The staff was very friendly. The apartment was very clean. It has access to a quiet little beach. That is really nice a little bit rocky FYI. Just around the corner, you have plenty of options for dining even a couple of supermarkets The place is easy to find and perfectly located to go around the island to visit.

Lovely family run hotel in a prime location. I see a lot of negative comments about the run-down state of the building and rooms. And sure, it's by no means modern, but I think it adds character and for the price you pay you really can't complain. People running the hotel are lovely and the rooms are clean and air-conditioned.

We arrived in early October, absolutely a hidden gem . Hospitality was above & beyond & the pool glorious. Location nice & quiet, blissful & a short walk 10 min walk to main port but it is uphill when walking back to hotel from main town & views so stunning.

I couldn’t give 5 stars, but only because smoking is allowed around the pool area. Personally, I find it unpleasant (I totally hate it!) and it feels unfair that non-smokers, including children, have no choice but to inhale it. Big, cozy rooms with a genuine Greek feeling. Not the most modern, but that only adds to the genuine feeling. The pool area could be nicer and the pool could have been cleaner, but with the amazing and super friendly owners everything is forgotten.

I had high hopes staying here. Side sea views rather than full sea view which was a disappointment. Lovely room inside, albeit small. Hosts had seemingly given up the season as it was October, so it did not feel welcoming. Excellent sunbeds and seafront situation.

I was with my mother, who is 70 years old. The room was on the second floor without an elevator, which is a shame because we have to go up several times during the day. The room is narrow and very warm because we got the opposite side and the air conditioner can't cool it down. Otherwise, everyone is very kind and it is very visible.

Very nice hotel with super breakfast and super staff. The location is very good in my opinion. I extended my stay because it was too hot for Athens. Near the hotel we have supermarket, backery, restaurants, beaches, and there is even a temple near. I will come back. It is less than an hour from Athens away.

Very clean , reasonable price and amazing location in the best beach side of the island ! You can get there easily by getting a bus next the ferry port , or rent a car or quad or bike . You have also mini markets next to it , coffes , bars and nice loudy parties in the night ( but from the rooms you hear nothing so good choice to sleep in Calm ! )

The rooms have mini fridges and my balcony was nice to sit out on. The bed was comfortable enough and the water pressure so so but that's pretty standard on smaller islands. The roof had a small pool and a bar (though I never saw it in action) and choice of shade or sunbeds to tan on with a great view. Whilst the staff were friendly and gave me a choice of two rooms, I don't have many more positives...

The Rastoni is, hands down, the most magical place I've ever seen. The hotel is stunning with it's rooms spread around the most beautiful sunken garden. The rooms are clean and unique with comfortable beds, soothing AC, and plenty of space. The hotel provides the most delicious breakfast every morning.
