Hotel Klonos Anna in Aegina Town

We arrived in early October, absolutely a hidden gem . Hospitality was above & beyond & the pool glorious.
Location nice & quiet, blissful & a short walk 10 min walk to main port but it is uphill when walking back to hotel from main town & views so stunning.

I couldn’t give 5 stars, but only because smoking is allowed around the pool area. Personally, I find it unpleasant (I totally hate it!) and it feels unfair that non-smokers, including children, have no choice but to inhale it. It is not fair, smokers have rights over non-smokers??? Hm... In many public spaces (like outside of schools in the EU), smoking is already banned, so I believe hotels should also consider stricter rules to make their spaces more family-friendly and healthier for everyone.
That being said, the hotel itself is very nice: friendly staff, tidy places, and a very clean pool. We enjoyed our short stay and felt welcomed. Thank you to the staff and owners! My only suggestion: please consider banning smoking on the property—it would make the experience perfect. Who what to smoke, do it at home! Do not bother others!!! It is that simple!

I stayed at Klonos Kyriakos during August 2025. The rooms are very clean and they clean them daily. The staff are lovely. Elena helped and advised us a lot. She is kind and knows a lot. Breakfast was nice and the lady is also lovely and welcoming. We used the swimming pool that was clean and the sunbeds are lovely. The only issue is the distanse. It is 10-15 minutes walk from the port, so if the weather is nice it is not a problem but in 35 degrees to walk at 4 PM to the Hotel, it is not as nice...
In the room it was written that extra pool towel is 2.50 euro, we asked for two towels and return them back and when we left they charged us 2.50 per towel. So if you don't want to use their towels, then use you own.

A traditional style family run hotel, where nothing is too much trouble. Great location a 20 minute walk from town up a well lit one way coastal road with lovely views. The rooms are adequate with a small fridge but not much else. There is a good pool bar offering a small choice of homemade food and drinks. We included breakfast in our room rate and it is well worth it to avoid walking into town for breakfast. It is a buffet with plenty of hot and cold choices. The pool is large and well looked after. Anna and her family are very friendly and attentive and the service is excellent. We would not hesitate in staying again.

This hotel is all about the beautiful family who own and run it. Such a lovely welcome and atmosphere, care and service. Great pool area, very adequate breakfast and clean rooms. Tasty food served at pool. Can’t wait to come back ! Thank you Methina, Maria and Anna 🤗

Our experience at the hotel was truly wonderful. The staff was polite, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was excellent, with fresh ingredients and plenty of options. The common areas were tastefully decorated and impeccably maintained. Perfect location, close to all points of interest. I highly recommend it without hesitation.

Been coming to this hotel for the past 7 years with family and we cant fault it. Always feel very welcome. Staff are very pleasant and always go above and beyond.
Very clean hotel and the recent refurbishment of the hotel rooms are lovely, very modern and stylish.
Pool is great and clean, great for my little girl with the baby pool.
Great food and drink options available. Highly recommend :)

A wonderful friendly Hotel. The family who run the Hotel could not do enough to make you both welcome and valued. The rooms were comfortable and clean with excellent Air conditioning. The pool and surrounding furniture were really inviting. An eight minute walk from Aegina Town. This Hotel is a perfect base for Aegina and Island hopping. Breakfast is excellent and the snack/ meal menue is wonderful.
