An excellent hotel with friendly, helpful staff and a great breakfast. Our room was spacious with air conditioning, comfortable bed and a balcony overlooking the sea

It’s an easy walk downhill into town and a tricker walk back up, but a taxi is €5 from the town to the hotel so really easy. I would genuinely really recommend Hotel Danae

It’s not five star luxury of course but it is very clean, the food is good, the staff are helpful and friendly, and the pool is beyond lovely

Having just stayed there I was amazed to see anything other than five star reviews for this place

The pool area is a great place to relax and the pool bar serves food as well as drinks

I was a bit worried having seen some of the reviews, but there was no need

The beach tables/umbrellas were not set up for the hotel as it is officially shoulder season but we pulled down some lounge chairs for our beach time

Excellent hotel, I highly recommend it, there was a small issue with the internet connection. The connection was slow and the network was not stable, the hotel garden is excellent, the hotel is literally next to the sea

Just returned from a lovely stay! The staff are soooo lovely, the food is AMAZING especially the fig pizza, the room was clean and the bed is comfy, cleaning staff came everyday to take rubbish and top up loo roll! Air con was spot on! I have no idea why this hotel only has 2 stars I would say its 4 star 100% the only thing missing was a swimming pool! We had our 1 year old little girl with us and...

We booked last minute and had an early check-in. We had a blocked shower drain with our first shower and they moved us to a different room-fast. This was great! We slept well on comfortable bedding

The grounds have a terrace for sunbathing, beautiful rosemary hedges, pomegranate trees and veggie garden spaces-very nicely done. The beach is at the bottom of the hill-not a bad walk-2 minutes

Best of all was Debbie-the English version of her Greek name-she was front desk manager and was very welcoming and informative. Her English is good and she is working on it constantly

Rastoni Hotel Aegina

Beautiful guest house, rooms are excellent and with beautiful views. Breakfast is varied and plentiful. Can walk there from the port - 15 minutes with luggage, and then a short stroll into the main part of town

Their staff is incredibly helpful and let us borrow beach towels and books for our trip to the beach. We were utterly charmed by the Rastoni (and the local kittens) and we hope to be back soon

The front desk lady was amazing—she truly went above and beyond to make our stay even better. Breakfast each morning was a delicious assortment of foods, offering variety and new flavors for us to try

The Rastoni is, hands down, the most magical place I've ever seen. The hotel is stunning with it's rooms spread around the most beautiful sunken garden

The rooms are clean and unique with comfortable beds, soothing AC, and plenty of space. The hotel provides the most delicious breakfast every morning

Our own sitting area and balcony allowed privacy although the garden is providing nice seating areas. The staff was incredible and so accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed

A pleasant experience during our stay at this hotel, which offers clean, bright rooms with a sea view. The hotel is located right on the waterfront, just across from the port

All the restaurants, shops, and the seaside promenade are within walking distance. The bus stop is only two minutes away, making it easy to explore the entire island

Complementary bottle of water is a nice touch. The sheets and the towels were clean and white. The owner was friendly, helpful and accommodating. Would not only recommend to family and friends but also stay again

Great location, right across from the port and extremely walkable to the hustle and bustle of the Aegina city centre. The large single room covers all the basic needs and is quite spacious for a solo stay

And sure, it's by no means modern, but I think it adds character and for the price you pay you really can't complain. People running the hotel are lovely and the rooms are clean and air-conditioned

Small beach tavern cross the street from hotel. Maybe colours of walls and table's is not in the greek blue-white patterns but I recommend it. Homemade baked Pistachio 1kg = 10 €, 500 grams 5€

We arrived in early October, absolutely a hidden gem. Hospitality was above & beyond & the pool glorious

Thank you to the staff and owners! My only suggestion: please consider banning smoking on the property—it would make the experience perfect. Who what to smoke, do it at home! Do not bother others!!! It is that simple!

In many public spaces (like outside of schools in the EU), smoking is already banned, so I believe hotels should also consider stricter rules to make their spaces more family-friendly and healthier for everyone

Good for a short stay. The main thing is that it's cheap in the season, don't expect too much from rooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The staff were absolutely fantastic, the hotel and the staff experience definitely made our stay on the island even better! Highly recommend a stay here

Great service, the view is amazing, it’s so easy to find (great location) and affordable prices!! Definitely recommend

The staff were very friendly and the view was amazing but there were some inconsistencies with overall cleanliness of the rooms, the housekeeping never changed our sheets when we asked them to and they didn’t serve breakfast although it was advertised as so in booking

Overall it was a great experience and I recommend it to anyone with a tight budget

Ulrika Hotel

Room was super clean and the location is very good, close to shops and restaurants and there is a small beach down the road from the hotel but the highlight is the owners. Everyone was so kind and accommodating

On our final day we spoke with Yannis who let us graciously leave our luggage at the hotel until we departed to Athens. We met the grandfather in the morning, who was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable

The location was great. Walking distance to the port and dining options. The room was clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was exceptional. They were friendly and helpful.

The most wonderful welcome that I've ever had from Eric, he was friendly and attentive, and we proceeded to our lovely room in Ulrika hotel. A simple yet spacious room, with the most powerful fridge

I was upgraded to an ocean and town view room with a balcony to eat lunch and read. The room was spotlessly clean and serviced daily. It was a 10 minute walk from town and the boats on the harbour

Although the check-in is at the Plaza Hotel (easy walk from the ferry port), our luggage was transported to our room in the Ulrika Hotel (which was only a few minutes walk away)

Perfectly located right by the sea and just a few minutes’ walk from the port, with everything you could need within easy reach. While a one-star hotel, the quality of the stay was far higher than expected

The hotel staff were all very kind, happy to help if they could, and great communicators. I'd be happy to stay with them again in any of their properties

I loved staying at this hotel! The staff is so kind and helpful and the breakfast is amazing!! Best Greek yogurt I have ever had. Definitely get a lot of value for the price. Will definitely be staying here again!

Staff were really friendly and the room was clean, same with the toilet. Building’s a bit old but well looked after. Super close to the beach and main town, with loads of shops and restaurants around

The bed linen was changed every three days, which was fine, but we would have liked fresh towels every day. A bigger problem was the squeaky doors, which were very loud and definitely need to be fixed

Me and my sisters got this place last minute for two nights and we were shocked by how KIND everyone was there. Best staff I’ve ever met in any hotel I’ve stayed at

Breakfast’s available, but there are plenty of other spots to eat within a 5-min walk too

And let’s talk about that BREAKFAST with enough deliciousness to stuff yourself full, it’s even healthy, and it was cheap, so let me tell you it was way worth it

If Staying on aegina it's a most if you want a little more greek village vibe owner and Staff go above and beyond to help make your stay there wonderful reasonable price comes with breakfast eggs fruit breads meats cheeses perfect light breakfast it is a short walk into town maybe 5 min to souvala harbor where you can catch ferris to other islands or to main land and athens many restaurants bars bakery...

Tge hotel is very clean, and our suite was lovely overlooking one of the 2 pools. Everything is walking distance to the hotel (marina, shops, supermarket, beach, and church). The main port was a 10 min cab ride and €15

Great spot, quiet and close of everything. The owner helped us to rent a car, which was great. The Aegina Island is very beautiful, the view is spectacular. We went to Afaia Temple and the view was stunning

getting a room for our friends at another hotel since they were sold out. they were truly exceptional in flexibility and overall service. The hotel is a 10 minute car ride to Saint Nektarios monastery

The hotel is everything you need, beautiful surroundings, peaceful and relaxing. Perfect finish to a wonderful family city holiday to Athens. Our 10 year old son absolutely loved every minute
