Me and my sisters got this place last minute for two nights and we were shocked by how KIND everyone was there. Best staff I’ve ever met in any hotel I’ve stayed at. And let’s talk about that BREAKFAST with enough deliciousness to stuff yourself full, it’s even healthy, and it was cheap, so let me tell you it was way worth it. We also realised we were so close to the beach!!!! Only walking 3 minutes...

I loved staying at this hotel! The staff is so kind and helpful and the breakfast is amazing!! Best Greek yogurt I have ever had. Definitely get a lot of value for the price. Perfect location as well. Will definitely be staying here again!

I stayed at Hotel Aegina for a week in October 2024. The rooms are kept really clean, All the staff, both front of house (Maria, Sofia and Vagelis), and those cleaning and doing breakfast, were lovely. They helped arrange a great car rental too. This is a small Greek hotel. The rooms are basic but very clean and comfortable. All staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very good and fresh. The hotel is ideally situated to walk into the nearby town for excellent shops and any nightlife you could wish for.

This hotel has the basics that you’d need for a short stay. Overall, very clean and good value. Recommend brining an eye mask and ear plugs as the windows are quite thin / don’t close quite well so a lot of noise gets in (and there are lots of cats and dogs on the area).

Breakfast was lovely and the staff were honestly wonderful. Had a lovely lovely stay here and would 100% go back.

The owners went above and beyond in helpfullness from arranging for onsite car rental, taxis, food...getting a room for our friends at another hotel since they were sold out....they were truly exceptional in flexibility and overall service. A fabulous traditional hotel - a hidden gem. We only did 3 nights as it was the second part of our Athens trip, but it certainly wasn't long enough. The Rastoni is, hands down, the most magical place I've ever seen. The hotel is stunning with it's rooms spread around the most beautiful sunken garden. Beautiful guest house, rooms are excellent and with beautiful views. Lovely gardens. Breakfast is varied and plentiful. Wonderful service. Can walk there from the port - 15 minutes with luggage, and then a short stroll into the main part of town.

The Rastoni was delightful. The gardens were stunning. We felt like we were in paradise. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The location is walking distance from the port making it convenient and close to restaurants and shopping. Breakfast was very good and you got to eat at private tables in the garden.

I toured some of Greece and some of the islands and this was my favorite place that I’ve stayed! It is absolutely gorgeous, spotless, beautiful surroundings with the garden, the incredible people, who are so kind, helpful and friendly! The first picture on the website shows fetched umbrellas with lounge, chairs, and the beach behind it. Did not see that anywhere where we were staying. They want you to think the beach is very nice, but it was OK.

The staff was very friendly. The apartment was very clean. It has access to a quiet little beach. That is really nice a little bit rocky FYI. We booked last minute and had an early check-in. Was very easy with Trip.com. We had a blocked shower drain with our first shower and they moved us to a different room-fast. This was great! The apartments are in close proximity to both the beach and restaurants.There is a fruit and vegetable garden on the property! Everything we could need was accounted for.

Nice - clean but no customer service Very unfortunate

The arhontikon architecture was beautiful and well preserved contributing to an authentic atmosphere. However, we stayed in the two single-bed room (on the ground floor) which lacked a shower curtain leading to drainage issues, which we were not informed about.

This hotel is listed as 4 Stars on hotels.com, but that makes no sense. It is a very basic hotel with dated rooms and furniture. The bed was very squeaky, and the washroom was tiny and VERY dated. The shower was impossible. The sliding door on the washroom was impossible to close. We had four rooms in our group and all were the similar. No place to open a suitcase. We also had roaches in several rooms...

We absolutely adored our stay here! The house is a converted old mansion, so the rooms are entirely unique and feel like you’re sleeping in a castle. Great hotel in a historic building. Stuff is very nice. The rooms are beautiful. Make sure you have earplugs for a good sleep since there is no sound isolation and you can hear motorcycles and mopeds all the time.

A lovely hotel! The staff is extremely nice, helpful and friendly, from the manager to the cleaning lady , the terrace has a beautiful view and the breakfast was super tasty! An excellent hotel with friendly, helpful staff and a great breakfast. Our room was spacious with air conditioning, comfortable bed and a balcony overlooking the sea. The pool area is a great place to relax and the pool bar serves food as well as drinks. We will be back.

Having just stayed there I was amazed to see anything other than five star reviews for this place. Lovely family run hotel in a prime location. I see a lot of negative comments about the run-down state of the building and rooms. And sure, it's by no means modern, but I think it adds character and for the price you pay you really can't complain. People running the hotel are lovely and the rooms are clean and air-conditioned.

Sweet good place to eat. Small beach tavern cross the street from hotel. Traditional Greek menu. Hospitality family owner. We arrived in early October, absolutely a hidden gem . Hospitality was above & beyond & the pool glorious. Location nice & quiet, blissful & a short walk 10 min walk to main port but it is uphill when walking back to hotel from main town & views so stunning.

I couldn’t give 5 stars, but only because smoking is allowed around the pool area. Personally, I find it unpleasant (I totally hate it!) and it feels unfair that non-smokers, including children, have no choice but to inhale it. It is not fair, smokers have rights over non-smokers??? Hm... In many public spaces (like outside of schools in the EU), smoking is already banned, so I believe hotels should...

Big, cozy rooms with a genuine Greek feeling. Not the most modern, but that only adds to the genuine feeling. The pool area could be nicer and the pool could have been cleaner, but with the amazing and super friendly owners everything is forgotten.

The staff were very friendly and the view was amazing but there were some inconsistencies with overall cleanliness of the rooms, the housekeeping never changed our sheets when we asked them to and they didn’t serve breakfast although it was advertised as so in booking.com . Overall it was a great experience and I recommend it to anyone with a tight budget.

I was upgraded to an ocean and town view room with a balcony to eat lunch and read. The room was spotlessly clean and serviced daily. It was a 10 minute walk from town and the boats on the harbour.
