Amaryllis Hotel in Hydra

Such a sweet little hostel in the perfect location. Right in the old town and near the port. Lovely rooms with everything you need and a nice terrace also. Will be back hopefully!

Such a great place! The hotel is very charming and authentic and the location is ideal. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Firstly, most of these comments dare to deduct a star due to the rooms/bathrooms aesthetic and I feel quite sad that people were looking to find Hilton rooms in such an authentic Greek Hotel.

I think most people should embrace the culture of the places they visit and this is why I stayed at Amaryllis! The rooms were small but cosy and clean and with AC! Mine also had a little balcony that I used every single day at the end of the day. TV's connect with Netflix which is great after a long day in the sun exploring the island.

The gentleman I met seems to be the owner of the hotel and he is the sweetest! Always smiling and willing to help.

Would not think twice to stay here again!

Spacious and clean room with everything you need. Good Wi-Fi even for work, good en-suite bathroom, lovely terrace. Close to the port but in a quiet street with many shops, bars and restaurants around. I would choose for longer stay as well. Kind and friendly owners.

Giving five stars, just because the owner is very nice and caring. For the price it's a decent place, rooms are not the biggest but, hey, remember you're on an island were the best transportation is donkeys. Internet is fast and hotel has a terrace (not advertised) with a good view were you can also dry you're beach things.

Perfect and kind hospitality!! Really enjoyed our 4 days in this hotel!! People are always smiling and willing to help you!! Will visit it again for sure!!
