Hotel Pavlou in Poros

Wonderful hotel and extremely friendly and welcoming staff. Need to mention Armani, Xanthi, Mary, Stefanos who went overboard to make us and our little one feel comfortable and welcome. Rooms clean - would do with an upgraded in the bathroom though, breakfast very good and fairly priced and restaurant food was excellent. It was my husband’s and daughter’s first experience at a Greek island and they were very happy!

The outside space was stunning at Hotel Pavlou. Decor and outlook was very picturesque. Seafront service at the beds during the day (they even had a paddleboard and dinghy free for guests to use) and watching the sunset in the hotels seafront restaurant, Thala Sea was perfect. Food was very good, generous portions and competitively priced. Julia was friendly and attentive, without being intrusive.
The hotel foyer and corridors were modern + clean. The rooms were tired and old looking. However, they were functional and it was all about outside. We would definitely stay again, despite it being a 30 minute + walk from the port. Being beachside was more convenient than being in town. The reception called a taxi at your request, costing between 5-7 euros, dependant on drop off spot in town. Poseidon fish redtaurant served gorgeous food. Best meal we had. Taverna Rota was also up there; serving traditional greek food and the waiters were happy to make recommendations according to your taste.
The walk up the steps to the clock tower is steep, but, wow! The views are worth it and there's a lovely breeze up there. Poros has more to offer, we will be back.

This hotel is in a great location across from a beautiful beach - and although I never stayed … I had the experience of using their small bar and restaurant… and when I couldn’t pay for my bottle of water (as their machine was not working) … they gave it to me complimentary ! Very generous as they didn’t need to !

Great stay right on the beach. Good breakfast, fair price. Comfortable bed. Good restaurant on the sand.

Service, cleanliness reasonable prices, a wonderful accommodation for really beautiful moments and rest, ideal for family, we had a great time thank you, we hope to come again soon.
