Porto Palace Hotel in Thessaloniki

The hotel is decent, but it is not really close to the city center or anything else. We walked in a couple days because the shuttle times were not convenient for us, but the sidewalk often had obstacles and holes to walk around (and sometimes we were forced to walk in the road). The interior is nice and the staff were all very pleasant and helpful. We appreciated that the front desk controls access to the gym to prevent too many people at one time (especially since a busload of teenagers arrived while we were there). The rooms were clean and there was water and soda in the mini-bar and packets of coffee in the room when we arrived. However, when a friend asked for additional coffee packets, she was told they were only given once per stay! (She couldn't even purchase them so we found some at the All4 store down the road). There were a lot of bus groups that stayed at this hotel so it was somewhat noisy and congested at times, but the rooms were surprisingly quiet.

Basic and reasonable, but not more than that. There is no swimming pool just small Jacuzzi, the hotel advertisement is misleading regarding swimming pool, very poor dining possibilities, and there is absolutely nothing around but industrial zone. The rooms are OK but rundown. Definitely not a good place for vacation.

There was nothing nice about the receptionists in Porto both very rude.
I've booked to have resort experience with breakfast... Its not possible there... Nothing is possible in that place... They say that you've bookex "room only". .. Really? Theres no resort experience beside they overcharge everything...
It's the "Bar Only" you rather have drinks here have a good time and look for another room only experience.
