We have just returned from a week at the hotel. It was absolutely excellent. The rooms are spacious, with comfy beds and beautifully cleaned every day. The pools are amazing - so big, clean, with bars close by… no shortage of sun lounges, no fighting for beds, and lovely dry towels included. For an advertised 5* hotel we found this to be very disappointing. We paid for 2 weeks and expected to get a 5 star service, however. We had long waits for drinks and at times over looked completely. Pedros was a fantastic host, who made our stay very enjoyable. The property is very conveniently situated for the beach (5min walk) and the various bars and restaurants in the area. We would definitely come again.

I just had short stay with my son and was met with a warm welcome from Petros and his team..the apartments are clean, comfortable and have everything you need. The pool area is brilliant, clean and well maintained. I was offered a lift from the airport by Petros but opted to hire a car from next the airport so we could explore Kefalonia in our own way. We had a lovely 2 week holiday on the island of Kefalonia, myself, my husband and my 18 year old son. Zest is suitauated on the peninsular and is a lovely quiet place. Petros and family made us incredibly welcome, going out of their way to make my birthday special. We had a large apartment with lounge and balcony. This was well equipped and very clean, with regular visits from the cleaner. The breakfasts we really good value with continental, hot options as well as sweat treats and drinks.

Lovely hotel in a great location just a few minutes walk to the harbour and town square. The whole team are really welcoming and approachable. The bathroom is small but perfectly functional and the sea view was stunning. The pool area was a great place to relax and the pool was clean and deep, and between the sunbeds you could laze in the pool admiring the Ionian sea. I would certainly stay there again

Menia and Theodore were exceptional hosts. The apartment was cleaned daily (bins emptied, floors cleaned, bathroom cleaned and beds made). They checked on us continually to make sure we were happy. Would definitely recommend and know where to book in future.

Many thanks to the wonderful owners, beautiful people with a very nice vibe. We had a wonderful week in kefalonia and we were able to recharge our batteries in this quiet and friendly place. The accomodation is located in a very quiet place, 5 minutes to Lixouri and 15 to 30 minutes to the best beaches in kefalonia. The owners are excellent people Ps. Beds are super comfortable!

I spent 8 days on a work trip to Kefalonia this October and the company I was working with kindly booked me into the Aura. The room was fresh, spacious and clean; the hosts Anastasia and Dimitris were exceptional. The hotel is basically OK. There's no swimming pool but we didn't expect one. The staff are friendly and polite. However, we had to request clean sheets, which weren't provided over the 7 days ! We had several other minor gripes which were sorted eventually but it left us feeling that if you complain then you are seen as the problem.

We stayed at Aura Boutique Hotel from Aug 22 to 31, 2023. We are a family of 3 adults and we were given a very roomy suite on the ground floor.
