This was our second year at the Apollonion and it was even better than last year. The new splash park and extra seating around the top pool are great additions. This is in a great location. Not staying at this hotel but went for drinks. Yesterday no problems but slow service. Today the service was so slow we walked out and went across the road. Great normally.

First impression when I came to hotel was it needed a decent improvement. For other hand is very lovely, rooms are quiet small but they have what you need. Around hotel is a beautiful park now a little out of date. Close to park is a pool. Quiet big enough for swimming. A few meter forward is a see. You don't need a shoes to get in. It is getting deeper slowly. So good for who is not good swimmer....

The views from the sea rooms are stunning. All restaurants, shops and cafes are very close by. The pool has plenty of loungers and is a lovely way to relax. The hotel staff are absolutely wonderful and do everything they can to make your stay perfect.

Fantastic Location 5* Very clean and friendly staff. Bathroom patched up and although clean needs updating with bigger shower cubicles and wall fitting shower spray. I heard there had been a bar open in evenings previous years but sadly this year closed - I would have used this for a nightcap.

From the minute we arrived we felt at home. The staff and owners were so friendly. The bars and restaurants are within easy walking distance, as is the ferry to take you to the main town of Argostoli from where you can explore the island further by boat or by bus.. I've come to Greece many times over the years, but this is my favorite place to stay and my favorite island. Terra Mare Resort is "simple luxury" with an owner (Nicos) who cares. The large property has trees full of oranges, lemons and loquats, an amazing pool and overlooks beautiful Livadi Bay. Lixouri town is only a few minutes away by car and a ferry across the bay to Argostoli is only 3 euros....

We enjoyed our stay at this place more than we would have ever expected. It was mainly due to the owner, Nicos, who is a kind, charismatic and skillful man with a big heart. Nikos, the owner, was extremely accommodating from start to finish. Our flight was delayed meaning we arrived at the hotel at 2:30am yet Nikos stayed up to ensure we arrived safe and sound. What a great Hotel with Nikos as your host who couldn't do enough to make your stay even more enjoyable. The hotel is basic but the rooms have all the facilities that you require including air conditioning in the bedrooms. We were not supposed to be staying at the hotel but so glad we did. If you are on the island pay Nikos a visit and I am sure he will look after you .

Our daughter participated in the turtle project in 2021. She needed some extra days before and after between flights and project. We found this hotel via Booking. Rooms are very old, nothing special. No insect nets in the balcony door. Garden is nice though. An old fashioned pool and many sunbeds around it. Distance to town center is also very good.

Has everything you need and more for a 2* in my opinion. Set in nice attractive grounds with a big deep swimming pool. Very helpful friendly staff.

A wonderful 2star Hotel Fabulous pool,lots of sunbeds. Excellent snack menu, breakfast included ( buffet style) bread, cheese, meat ,eggs cake. Fruit juice& coffee. Staff make you feel part of a family. Nothing is too much for them. Well kept gardens& only 5 minutes walk to square & port.

Called there for a cooked lunch whilst visiting the peninsula. Vey clean, excellent service and food. On asking we were allowed to use the pool facilities, absolutely excellent, got us in the mood for booking a holiday there, if only we could find a booking site for it.

The village is beautiful and the staff is so friendly! We had a wonderful stay here. The pool and the beach bar are beautiful, the food at the restaurant was so tasty and not expensive at all! The last few years my wife and i spent our holidays in greek islands, this year in Remetzo village in Kefalonia. What an amazing hotel!! It was just remodeled couple seasons ago and it’s absolutely beautiful, super clean with the most friendlier stuff and owners that I have met traveling around the world! I recommend hotel Palatino for everyone who wants to relax. Very clean, very peaceful place. For dinner you can try delicious greek food. Staff is friendly and helpful. For me one of the best :)

The hotel is basically OK. There's no swimming pool but we didn't expect one. The staff are friendly and polite. However, we had to request clean sheets, which weren't provided over the 7 days ! We had several other minor gripes which were sorted eventually but it left us feeling that if you complain then you are seen as the problem.

We stayed at Aura Boutique Hotel from Aug 22 to 31, 2023. We are a family of 3 adults and we were given a very roomy suite on the ground floor. The beds were super comfortable (I really enjoyed the firm pillows); spacious bathroom with plenty of soap, shampoo, toilet paper); great smelling and absorbent towels; and an air conditioning system that not only worked, but kept the room nice and cold....
