Palatino Hotel in Lixouri

Lovely hotel in a great location just a few minutes walk to the harbour and town square. The whole team are really welcoming and approachable.
The bathroom is small but perfectly functional and the sea view was stunning. The pool area was a great place to relax and the pool was clean and deep, and between the sunbeds you could laze in the pool admiring the Ionian sea.
I would certainly stay there again.

Located at the top of a small hill, overlooking Lixouri, Hotel Palatino has everything.. Great rooms (comfortable bed, plenty of hot water, a fridge and safe) great staff, great pool and most importantly, the best view in the world, looking out over Lixouri Bay. My wife and I have been lucky enough to view Sydney Opera House and many other stunning views from our bedroom window around the world, however, this tops the lot.. so relaxing sitting on the balcony looking out over the bay and mountains beyond.. The Palatino has everything.. Thank you all. Hugh and Clare

Fantastic gem of a place. If you expect 5 star don’t come. It’s comfortable and clean and the location is lovely, around 7 minutes to lixouri at a steady amble, slightly uphill on the return but not mountain goat uphill. Breakfast is poor but there is a pool bar and they serve lunch there too. The pool is nice. Lovely place. Air on in rooms and safe (10 euros deposit). Bear in mind that the pool bar shuts at the end of September, but there’s a fridge in the room so you can self serve.

A very nice hotel . Breakfast was included and served between 8-10am . All the staff were friendly and efficient. It’s a 5 minute walk to Lixouri town centre / square . What a beautiful place that is . Would highly recommend for the price we paid .

This hotel is located up a short hill with great views over Lixouri, the sea and mountains beyond. Rooms at the rear overlook the garden and get the evening sunshine. It’s a nice homely hotel with really comfy beds which is unusual for Greece. The rooms are adequate and cleaned daily with towel changes as well. The bathroom is functional with piping hot water but 204 is in need of a bit of TLC. Bit of mould in the shower and there was a very rusty shower pipe and large shower head which really doesn’t need to be there as there is a newer smaller flexible shower which does the job! Breakfast is served 8- 10 and is a good mix of some hot food, salad, fruit, bread, eggs and Greek yogurt. The pool area is very nice with a great bar which does snack as well all very reasonably priced. There is a great number of tables and chairs to sit and enjoy the outdoors and a good number of sunbeds but they are a bit dated with no adjustments so not very comfortable, take a couple of towels! We had some great evenings with fellow guests in the pool bar area with Senka who was really efficient and helpful. All in all a nice hotel we wouldn’t worry about returning to.

A lovely hotel with excellent people. Nice layout, surroundings, rooms and facilities. Clean, orderly with all things a guest can require. Highly recommended.

Hotel Palatino is a good 3 star hotel, breakfas was simple but adequate, rooms were clean and comfortable, the pool bar served food and drinks,and,Johanna, and Sanka were friendly and polite, a short walk into town had a good selection of bars, and restaraunts, we will certainly be returning.

My wife and I statyed at Palatino for two weeks in Lixouri, at Hotel Palatino. Firstly, this is not a five star hotel, but is is everything you need. Wonderful freindly staff, we struck up a particularly good freindship with Senka at the pool bar, even helping her create a new signature cocktail (which will hopfully be on the menu next year). The pool was amazing, clean, woth a very relaxed atmosphere. Even with a smaller childs pool (which families with young children put to good use!) Breakfast was all you need to start the day, lovely coffee, fruit juices, and a small selcetikn of food (fruite, cereals, bread, meat and cheese) Perfect location, just a short walk i to the centre of Lixouri. We are already planning our return. (For reference, we are both around 40 years old)

Lovely hotel with great views across the bay of lixouri,,staff are amazing,rooms are comfortable and airy, short walk down to lixouri where there are a host of bars and restaurants, beaches fairly nearby 15 walk or Lepada 10 mins in a car

What a brilliant hotel. What lovely people. They were so nice to me and my family, all the time. Without fail. They upgraded us to a studio at no extra cost so we had more space for the baby. The pool and pool bar were always happy, friendly places to be. It was such a quiet peaceful spot. The views at night of the lights in the capital over the bay were beautiful, it was just a brilliant holiday, made as much by not only the hotel, but the people and restraunts and bars in Lixouri too. I couldnt speak more highly of a hotel, of a place, or the people that make up not only the Hotel Palatino, but Lixouri in general. We were made to feel so genuinely welcome.

We will be going back again.
