Zest @ XI Beach in Lixouri

Pedros was a fantastic host, who made our stay very enjoyable. The property is very conveniently situated for the beach (5min walk) and the various bars and restaurants in the area. We would definitely come again.

Fantastic Stay
We had a fantastic stay at Zest at Xi beach. We stayed in a studio which was perfectly adequate in size foralways a couple. The studio was immaculately clean and smelt lovely and fresh. It contains everything required for a self catering holiday, although, we ate out all the time except breakfast. A very nice free breakfast was provided in a lovely setting around the pool. It was a great way to start the day. Petros, the owner, was exceptionally friendly and helpful. He spoke great English and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Petros. We would highly recommend Zest and have already booked to return.

A fabulous 5 night stay at Zest. The rooms are well equipped with a full size cooker and a fridge with a small freezer box. Shower is great. Beds are comfortable and regularly changed. The rooms are clean. Breakfast is fabulous. Petros is welcoming and hospitable. We would definitely return if we are back in this area. We enjoyed many afternoons sitting around the pool. Close to the beach, restaurants and shops

I just had short stay with my son and was met with a warm welcome from Petros and his team..the apartments are clean, comfortable and have everything you need. The pool area is brilliant, clean and well maintained. I was offered a lift from the airport by Petros but opted to hire a car from next the airport so we could explore Kefalonia in our own way. I'd definitely recommend Zest at xi beach to family and friends.

We had a lovely 2 week holiday on the island of Kefalonia, myself, my husband and my 18 year old son. Zest is suitauated on the peninsular and is a lovely quiet place. The rooms are spacious and clean with everything you need. A kettle would have been great for us tea drinkers as a coffee maker doesn't quite work the same. The beds were comfortable and our room had a massive bed with comfy mattress. We slept so well. We had apoartment 3 upstsirs with a locely balcony. We loved the cats and miss them but we are happy to see our cats again. The cleaning was really good. The pool was relaxing. We miss it already. We hired a car from Greekstones we collected from the airport.

Petros and family made us incredibly welcome, going out of their way to make my birthday special.

We had a large apartment with lounge and balcony. This was well equipped and very clean, with regular visits from the cleaner.

The breakfasts we really good value with continental, hot options as well as sweat treats and drinks.

Another wonderful stay at Zest. Very peaceful. Delicious breakfast included. Had the pool to ourselves most days. Walked to the beach everyday. The most relaxing holiday. Apartment was very clean. Good cooking facilities. Comfy bed. Great air con. Petros and his family are so welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. Looking forward to returning next year.

The perfect place for a quiet break. The owner couldn’t do more for you. Rooms fully equipped and cleaned regularly. Close the beach and restaurant’s. Car hire by is on the door step. Local bus a few euros to next town. Two small supermarkets in walking distance.

We had a lovely week staying at Zest, Petros was happy to help with anything that we needed and made our stay very comfortable. Zest is a 5-8 min walk from the beautiful Xi beach where we spent a lot of our time. Another bonus is that Mercury car hire is right opposite which makes it very convenient to get a car at very good prices. Thank you for a lovely week, we hope to come back next year!

I wish I could give Zest @ Xi Beach 100 stars ✨ for the warmest of hospitality, amazing spacious apartment with 2 pools !! What a find!! From the moment we arrived (€15 for 10 minutes in taxi from ferryport at Lixouri), the charming Petros took our bags to our rooms and offered us a welcome drink. We met 2 ladies on way in who just said you're gonna love it here and we certainly did (except for the mosquitoes - but there are mosquito nets up on windows unlike other more expensive resorts on Kefalonia - it is time of year for mossies). Our huge apartment actually could sleep 7 but we were only 2 - booked through Loveholidays.com but you can also book direct with Petros and his sister who run it. Huge double bed. Fantastic storage. Free air-conditioning & wifi unlike other places we have stayed. Great kitchenette. Comfy sofas. Great shower with some olive oil toiletries. Bathroom was fine. Huge terrace space with our apartment alone with sofa, table and chairs and a clothes dryer with lots of pegs. A banana tree beside us (see pic) & a swimming pool practically all to ourselves with a BBQ area with sofas that all guests can used. There are 2 swimming pools and one has the noise of an air con unit so we used the other one by the honesty bar, which was brilliant and you just pay at the end of your holiday. Brilliant Breakfast included Chocolate Mousse!! 😋 I have never ever stayed in such a relaxing apartment complex - only 9 apartments and 5 minute walk to beach. Xi Beach is at its best early mornings so you can walk it. There are a very very few food options as it is remote & 2 expensive mini-markets, which was our main issue with the area. Best food option we found was the fantastic Fishbones Taverna on the next beach over towards Lixouri - walkable through sea & beach or a 7 minute drive. If you truly want to switch right off, Zest is for you but if you want nightlife, forget Xi area. We would definitely go back. In fact, we met a Dutch man who had been there 20 times and we could see why. We loved it & thank you to all the team. 💚💚 Flossy & Erik
