Aegli Hotel in Perama

As a couple of Americans traveling through Europe we were plenty happy with the accommodations for the price of stay.

Was it the most luxurious hotel on the planet? No.

Did it have beautiful views, a nice restaurant, access to the beach, access to the town, a wonderful staff, air conditioning, and breakfast? Yes.

We had a great time being here, had no problems with the sound of airplanes (if you’ve lived in any major city, you’ve heard worse) and were able to reach town by either taking the bus RIGHT outside or walking along the sea wall and ascending the stairs to another bus stop.

For a young couple it was a great stay for a short time. If we’d had a car, it probably would’ve been even better.

Beds were a little stiff but the pillows were soft. Breakfast had basics and a little more and was perfectly pleasant. Staff were so kind.

Would stay here again.

A good friendly hotel with spectacular views, good breakfast and service. If I visit beautiful Corfu again I’ll certainly stay again.

Superb location with outstanding panoramic view, lovely owners and staffs, excellent services, very good food and drinks outlets serving tasty food from a rich menu varieties, and the daily breakfast is just good enough.

We spent a week at this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It’s an older, modest 2-star property that’s kept clean and tidy. If you're seeking luxury, this isn’t the place for you, best to look elsewhere to avoid disappointment.

The location is truly lovely, offering scenic views of Pontikonisi and the occasional airplane landing nearby. Despite being close to a busy main road and the airport, the windows are impressively well-sealed, keeping most of the noise out and ensuring a peaceful rest.

The hotel is equipped with a lift and a ramp at the entrance, which is helpful, though wheelchair users might find it challenging due to the traffic-heavy road directly in front.

Just across the street is Aegli Café and Restaurant, where you’ll find delicious food and a small private beach accessible via a short staircase (note: no disability access). There are no rental options for paddleboards, kayaks, or similar equipment, so if you’re keen on water activities, bring your own gear.

Overall, the atmosphere is simple, quiet, and relaxing.

Breakfast is basic but sufficient, with all the essentials to start your day right.

The staff are warm, attentive, and well-informed. If you're looking to book tours or get local tips, the receptionists are your go-to people.

Public transport is conveniently located, with bus stops just steps away from the hotel entrance in both directions. While buses are generally reliable, they can sometimes run late or arrive full especially during peak hours, so it’s good to plan with a bit of flexibility.

The hotel is in a very good location and has an amazing view of a beautiful island and a church. It also overlooks the airport, which is a unique and fascinating experience. The room, breakfast, and air conditioning are in line with the hotel’s category. Everything works very well. Overall, we had a very good experience.

This was simple the best hotel for its food, location, view, hospitality and price.

You simply can't get better. Its a family run hotel and it really is special the host was like the most perfect human along with her brother. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed.

The location of the hotel is spot on, its 15 mins from the airport and 2 seconds from the beach literally. They have a private beach within their grounds with views over mouse island.

The bedroom was really nice, and the view was amazing not only do you see Albania mountains you all so are in the flight path to see the jets coming into the airport, which is breathtaking.

We had breakfast included in our rate and that was wonderful well cooked and tasty.

We loved it so much we are coming back again and again and AGAIN.

They need to have more stars added to their listing.
