Amour Holiday Resort in Sidari

Throughout my stay, I witnessed repeated and shocking examples of verbal abuse. Apostolos openly shouted at employees in front of guests, spoke to them in an aggressive and degrading manner, and treated them as if they were disposable rather than human beings. The way he exerted authority appeared to rely entirely on intimidation and humiliation. Even more troubling was his apparent belief that foreign guests would not understand Greek. On several occasions, he made insulting and demeaning remarks about staff in Greek, clearly assuming no one around him could comprehend what he was saying. The comments were cruel, unprofessional, and entirely inappropriate for any workplace, let alone a hotel. Watching staff being spoken to like this was deeply uncomfortable and frankly upsetting. No level of comfort or location can compensate for an environment where employees are treated with such disrespect. A business reflects its management, and in this case, the management reflects extremely poorly. I would strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to think carefully. Until Apostolos is removed or fundamentally changes his behaviour, this is not a place I could ever recommend in good conscience.

Absolutely appalling. This is not an adults only hotel, its full of families. When we arrived we were given a family room and my friend had to sleep in a small childs bunk bed as they “had no twin rooms” the food was substandard and cold. The drinks were watered down. There was no gym. I was told it was “under construction’ the bedding was never changed the tiled floor was grimy 5 days in as it needed sweeping. Three nights entertainment was adverfised, there was one nights “entertainment” on the Saturday. The customers were standing round at meal times because there wasnt enough tables to go round. We booked all inclusive and ended spending a fortune on meals out and entertainment. Staff attitude was how can’t I help you. Ruined our holiday
