My wife and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in mid-September. The place is perfect for a romantic getaway for two – peace, quiet, wonderful views (from the balcony and the grounds around the hotel), the sound of the sea, and so on. The rooms are elegant, spotlessly clean, and cleaned daily. The best part is the staff everywhere – they are incredibly kind, helpful, and accommodating. And the star among them is Maria. And there's a shuttle bus every hour that takes hotel guests to and from Roda – the perfect solution. Thank you, and we hope to see you again soon.

Amazing from the moment we walked in the door arrived late 2230 Eleni got us a drink while we checked in sent are bags to the room and showed us the restaurant where a cold salad cheese and meat buffet was brought out along with wine a great way to start the holiday. All the staff are amazing Andrea,Spiros and are favorite waiter Vaggelis they couldn’t do enough for you.the room was fantastic with a great sea view the hotel is spotless the gardens are superb.the restaurant is buffet style with the most amazing choices something for everyone and the pool bar doubles up as a restaurant at night with traditional Greek food. All the staff are so friendly and try so hard to make your stay the best.they offer a free minibus to Roda which is very regular and saves the 25 minutes walk it is driven by all the staff at some point from the handyman to even the restaurant manger. We will be coming back.

We had a fabulous 2 nd stay at this hotel, it is a 25 min walk from Roda but there is an hourly minibus, which is great . Our room (111)) was great , nice and big , lovely comfy bed , the only downside ( maybe time of year ) was that the balcony got no sun at all due to the trees in front , a bonus’s for me was the coffee and kettle as I’m up early and enjoy an early coffee The ladies that cleaned our room were lovely and always thorough The food was plentiful , people complain not much choice , I’m really not sure what they want , always choice ( occasionally some could be warmer ) many meat dishes , fish , maybe not lots of potatoes and veg but always one or 2 , rice etc we are In Greece after all Soups ( always 2 ) salads and sweets plentiful and delicious Breakfast s were the same , we always enjoyed We ate out a couple of times but this was only for a change of scenery The drinks menu was great , plenty to choose from and lovely cocktails The pool bar food and drinks were fab , the days we were there we ate down there and staff are lovely , willing to chat if you take the time to talk to them , beach was fabulous , I love the sea We used the gym daily which is a first for us but we enjoyed There was a games room which many people used I love a massage but this time was closed due to illness which obviously can’t be helped We found all the staff were all lovely , some quieter than others but always polite , helpful and willing to help with any queries we had We hired a car and the lady was lovely , and always acknowledged us after we returned the car with a cheery good morning They all work long hours , is a long summer for them and maybe people should remember this when leaving bad reviews There was some form of entertainment 4/5 times a week , people should read that there isn’t daytime entertainment/ animation when booking We had a fabulous, relaxing holiday and will definitely be back

We have just returned from 11 nights at The Ibiscus . Reviews of the hotel are variable , but I can only tell you our experience . The most common “ complaint “ is about the food . I’m something of a picky eater , but I always had at least three options for each course at meals ( no , I didn’t choose all three ! ) . Occasionally , the food wasn’t piping hot , but you can’t keep food at high temperature for three hours during service . The food itself was very good . The restaurant has themed nights each night , which works well . The Greek salads were lovely and the yoghurt was outstanding . Beers , wines and other drinks were fine too . Mention should be made of the staff in the restaurant . Always busy and always friendly . Kostas , Coni , Vagelis ( super great family ) , Micalis , Georgia and others are , like the rest of the hotel staff, a credit . Transfer time to and from the airport is around 90 minutes , but that gives you a chance to see parts of the island . The minibuses used are clean and comfy . That leads nicely on to the hourly shuttle bus to and from Roda , provided free by the hotel . It takes around 8 minutes and is well worth using . You can walk if you choose , which would probably take 25 minutes . The thing to remember is that Roda is downhill from the hotel . Which means an uphill walk back . The rooms are good , and are cleaned daily . The room has a kettle , mini fridge and tea and coffee. There is a small shop on site that sells essentials . Beach towels are provided FOC and are in the room . The beach itself is pebbly and shallow and has a good number of sunbeds . Sadly , the pool sunbeds suffer from that modern problem , people putting towels on them around 7.30 am to reserve them for later . Luckily , there are plenty of sunbeds away from the pool . A bonus for us is that there is no daytime entertainment team here . Nighttime sees various local events , from a Greek night ( no plate smashing ) to Paula and George , who have a surprising selection of rock and pop music . The bar staff are very good and usually remember what you are drinking . The bar area , in my opinion , needs to be bigger . I think that the hotel recently expanded the number of rooms , but the bar , which is the only one open at night , looks like it still takes the old capacity . One good thing is that people were willing to budge up to make space , and we met a lovely couple that way . I’m convinced that one of the reviews below , by Sharon T , is from that couple . Apologies for this being quite a long review , but I wanted to convey the very good opinion that we formed of The Ibiscus . I would happily return there .

We’ve just spent 2 weeks at the Hotel Ibiscus. The hotel is very intimate, clean and welcoming, all of the staff are friendly and welcoming. Rooms are cleaned daily if requested by friendly happy staff. The bed was huge & very comfy. We absolutely love “Hotel Cat” who lives here, he’s a cheeky little fella. The views and scenery are amazing. The food is great, there’s always something to eat. Other reviews comment on food not being hot enough etc, it’s a hotel where they are constantly refilling the buffet as it empties, so sometimes things aren’t piping hot, it’s to be expected. Drinks at the restaurant, bar & pool bar are great. Food at the snack bar is lovely. The beach is a bit pebbly until you get into the sea. The minibus into Roda every hour is brilliant & the drivers friendly. There’s some kind of entertainment or music most evenings. We booked a couple of excursions through the hotel & had no problems, they even provided an early breakfast and lunch bag for us. Beach towels, shower gel, toothbrush, towels, slippers, dressing gowns, little sewing kits, fridge, kettle, bottled water, teas & coffee are supplied in the room. Sun beds by the pool are usually claimed by 7.30am but we had our own in a swim up room so it didn’t bother us. Plenty of sun beds on the beach & seating near the pool bar. The only downside is the pools are freezing cold despite the sun on them. It’s been an amazing relaxing chilled holiday, we don’t want to leave & we can’t wait to come back !!

Me and my partner have just spent a week at this hotel and we had an amazing stay. The staff at this hotel are amazing and can’t do enough for you. The hotel itself is beautiful and has gorgeous views. The food at the hotel is great and plenty of option. We arrived late at night and they had food ready for us on arrival. We ate out 2 nights in Roda which was also lovely. Nothing to do with the hotel food, we just fancied going out. There is a mini bus going from the hotel every hour up until 11pm in to roda. Room cleaned every day. Plenty of sun lounges available and snacks at the pool bar. We have had an amazing week and would definitely come again and recommend. Thank you

The Ibiscus Hotel in Corfu benefits from a scenic location with pleasant views and convenient access to nearby attractions, including a complimentary shuttle service to the town of Roda. However, several aspects of the guest experience require significant improvement. During a one-week stay, service quality was inconsistent. Staff interactions were frequently unhelpful, and communication from both hotel and TUI representatives was limited. Housekeeping and reception services did not meet expected standards of professionalism, and there were concerns regarding staff attitude and attentiveness. Food and beverage quality was below an acceptable standard. Meals were often served cold and did not appear to meet basic food hygiene expectations, as temperature checks were not observed and new food was occasionally mixed with previously served items. Beverage quality was poor, and bar service lacked hospitality. Facilities also presented several issues. The entertainment programme was minimal, and the game room was poor. We booked a swim-up room, but it was not particularly private. The Wi-Fi connection was extremely poor, and the television offered only a single UK news channel. Additionally, there were pest concerns, including ants in the room and a cat present in the dining area. The property appeared to cater primarily to smokers, which restricted the availability of smoke-free seating areas and reduced comfort for non-smoking guests. Seating throughout the property was limited and often inadequate. The dining area was too small for the number of guests, resulting in waits for tables most evenings, and on one occasion, we were asked to leave the area in a rude and abrupt manner. Although we stayed on an all-inclusive basis, we were reprimanded for attempting to get a drink from the dining room when the bar was closed mid-afternoon, which was disappointing. Positive Aspects: The hotel’s location remains its strongest feature, offering attractive views and close proximity to Roda. The complimentary shuttle bus is a convenient service, and staff assistance in recovering a lost driving licence was appreciated. Summary: While the Ibiscus Hotel enjoys a lovely setting and convenient access to local amenities, the overall guest experience is diminished by inconsistent service, poor food standards, and facility maintenance issues. Substantial improvements in staff training, hygiene practices, and amenity quality would be necessary for the hotel to meet the expectations of a modern resort. Overall, our stay was uncomfortable, and several other guests expressed similar concerns during the week, which unfortunately impacted our overall enjoyment of the holiday.

Hotel grounds are beautiful and overlooks the coastline to Albania. Rooms are clean and are cleaned daily. What lets this place down is the staff, drinks and food. The food is always cold although kept under heat lamps and they only really serve chicken, pork or fish at dinner times. Drinks are cheap and watered down with not a lot of selections. There’s not enough areas for people to sit and not enough entertainment at night either. Staff are rude and if your British don’t expect a nice welcome, we have been shouted at twice and only been here for 3 days, today a cleaner asked if I was expecting, which I'm not for her then to intimate that I was overweight and then laughed!!!! WiFi doesn’t work in all the rooms especially if you’re on lower grounds with a swim up pool. This hotel is DEFINITELY not a 5 star as advertised in websites

Great hotel . Nice staff . Rooms cleaned every day and fresh towels . Food was good and enjoyed the beautiful sea views. Shuttle down to Roda every hour throughout till 11pm . Uphill walk otherwise about 20 mins to 30 mins . I would say not as good if you have mobility issues. But shuttle regular enough so you don’t have to walk . Could have done with mirror above dressing table in room. All the staff were very polite and friendly and helpful.

We are currently staying in this hotel when writing the review, this is our third stay here. The ibiscus is set in a beautiful private cove, withe lovely gardens and friendly staff. Rooms are very stylish and there is lots of space with a very comfy bed. The cleaning team do a fantastic job always keeping the hotel and rooms clean. The food is pleantiful with a good choice of tasty dishes. The snack bar at the pool for sun worshipers also has a great choice of hot and cold food. There is a shuttle bus to Roda town for those who want to venture out and see the beautiful island of Corfu. Will definitely be returning to this hotel and recommend it to all.
