Best Hotels in Ierapetra

Because of these numerous goodies and entertainment, one can’t help but notice that the management spends a lot of money in order to make their guests happy; whether it pertains to the variety of food, numerous Staff or the many programs offered

I can’t speak positively enough about this hotel. We came as a family of 4 with a 4 year old and a 20 month old and everything about the hotel is so carefully thought about and children are really really well considered

The pools are lovely with the main pool being big enough to swim lengths etc and have plenty of room when it’s busy and the children’s pool was fantastic for our girls and I’d imagine children up to at least 10-12

There’s a mini Astro to play football on and the steps down to the beach right next to the pools. On the beach there’s a dedicated play space with a climbing frame

Petra Mare is a very good place for a relaxing family holiday. The food quality is above average, and although it’s prepared in small batches (which sometimes means a short wait), everything is fresh and tasty

I don’t mind kids, but in dining area was like 30 kids screaming all at once it’s crazy, similar problem is loud rooms. i would make 1 hour eating time only for adults. Otherwise everything about hotel is on the peak

I stayed at the beginning of September with my parents for a week in this beautiful and comfortable hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed. Our room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and very clean

We were given a room with a front balcony, even though we had originally booked one with a side sea view. I had read beforehand that these rooms might be noisy, so I was quite curious

Our stay at this hotel was pleasant and comfortable. The food was good, and what we really appreciated was that every evening there were new and varied dishes at dinner

Although the furniture in the room wasn’t very modern, this wasn’t a problem for us, as we appreciated how clean the room was - the housekeeping ladies did an exceptional job and provided us with fresh towels every day

The staff was very nice and friendly, especially the restaurant team and the animation crew. The beach is indeed rocky, but we found a good spot to enter the water, so it wasn’t a problem for us

We had the half board and the food was great with plenty of choice. The pool bar food was also delicious. We had an evening meal in their al carte restaurant which was excellent

My husband and I stayed here for one week in mid October. The hotel is stunning and so amazing to be on the beach. The staff were incredibly helpful, kind and friendly. The hotel is immaculate and very clean

Perfect hotel, truly deserving of its 5 stars — if not more! We got the chance to be upgraded to the best suite, which was huge, with a massive terrace and private pool

Breakfast and dinner were excellent; I especially recommend the MENOA Restaurant (tip: make a reservation in advance!)

From the first second we felt very welcomed by everyone: from the security lady at the entrance and the person who takes care of your bags, to the lovely colleagues at the reception and the guest experience team

The rooms are stylish and comfortable, with spotless housekeeping. What truly stood out was the service, excellent quality with a genuine, heartfelt touch

We were also extremely lucky with the weather: 22° water and 26° air temperature in the first week of November; so we did not do a lot of sightseeing, but rather enjoyed the snorkeling, swimming, fitness courses and yoga lessons

There were two TVs but with limited programme choice. However, the wifi was good so we used our tablet and a HDMI cable which we had brought with us. There was a coffee machine which we also used to boil water for tea

The highlights of our stay really were Tina's yoga lessons and Petros' fitness courses. We also enjoyed a high quality massage. Surprisingly good for swimming and snorkeling was the private beach of the hotel

its "Acai Berry Bowl") every day, calling the service from the beach lounger's call button. Both breakfast buffet and dinner buffet were nice. (The dinner buffet repeated after 1 week, but we stayed only 8 nights

And the flax seed ran out three days before the end of the season (and was not filled up again). The door knob in our room was not properly working, so we could not lock the front door from inside

We choose a more expensive room with its own private swimming pool (more of a plunge pool) with separate sleeping and living area. The room was clean and daily cleaned to a high standard

This cost us €80 which we thought was good. The food was amazing and there was plenty of choice and different food every night. The drinks were delicious as well and the bar staff were great

However for this holiday that was fine as it was more about relaxing and releasing stress. The spa facilities were excellent

Me and my partner stayed at the hotel the first week of September. We arrived at the hotel around 2:30am, the staff at reception were very helpful and had food set up in the buffet for our arrival

It got cleaned every day and fresh bottles of water was put in the fridge every day. There was plenty of loungers by the pool and the sea and everywhere got the sun did not matter where you sat

We got taken by a kart to our room and showed around the resort and given lots of information by the driver. The room itself was beautiful and spacious and there was plenty of storage

The hotel was very well thought out with quiet areas away from the nosier entertainment area along with an adult bar and pool where you could enjoy the surroundings and relax

The rooms are good, with nice airconditioning, a nice view and a spacious bathroom. The staff is very helpfull, exept the restaurant personnel. The food is mediocre at best. Quite far from the beach.

Water in the pools is filtered all the time and the guys playing the music know their businesses. Chillout after lunch and live music after dinner. Very kind and smiling you the guests

Staff is extremely helpful and willing to make your state a nice experience. Food varies and also Greek specialities are prepared. Amazing views from the rooms and swimming pool

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, making it very easy to explore the area and get around. The rooms are spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, creating a very comfortable atmosphere

The beds were good, but there were other problems with sleep: the building is very thinly soundproof, and you can hear the water running through the walls. We ended up sleeping with earplugs in our ears

Needed a hotel in Ierapetra to stay at whilst I dealt with a family bereavement here, so glad I chose this one, only minutes away from town centre and bus station and metres from the promenade and the many beachfront cafes

The staff are all very friendly and cannot do enough for you. The hotel is spotless throughout, the rooms are large and each has its own balcony

There is a wide selection of hot and cold breakfast items so there is something for everyone

The location of breakfast was also somewhat disappointing: We sat in the dim light of a very poorly lit room. Only in a small side room did we get a hint of Greek food and light, with Cretan jams, nuts, and dried fruit

Good communication with hotel for organising parking and a later checkout on our last day. Parking at the hotel was close by. Check in was smooth and all staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful

The location is excellent, just on the harbor, very close to where the boat to chrysi departs from. The breakfast is 5 stars, a big variety of food and you can refill your plate

we were a family of 4 (2 teens). We had breakfast buffet each morning. The hotel is steps away from the beach. The sea view we had was gorgeous. Lots of stores and shops within walking distance

We spent a night on our honeymoon in El Greco and we really enjoyed it! Thank you for all the surprises that made our stay really special! Try the milk rice and the greek pastry for breakfast!

Lovely large room with balcony and sea view. Our room was clean and tidy with a large comfy bed, air con, fridge, hairdryer, towels, robes, slippers and toiletries in the bathroom

Breakfast was included in the price and very good. Close to shops, restaurants and beach. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay

I stayed for 4 nights in April 2023 and I feel this Hotel is good value for money, it is direct by the beach, town centre, boutiques, shops everything is close by

So close to the beach and many excellent places for food and coffee!

The best hotel in Ierapetra. Clean rooms , really helpful and polite staff , quite place. If you want to relax and have a good time this is the place to be.

Good rooms but the beds are not very soft and they hurt my back, but I like the rest of the room. The food is good and the service is also good

I didn't like the location, you don't have a good view since it's between buildings

Excellent city hotel for business and leisure. Renovated lounging areas and rooms. One star short of perfect for the glass bathroom doors that offer limited privacy. A big plus the warm and friendly staff

Also, terrible terrible insulation - or lack thereof - so you can hear your neighbours as if you all shared one room. Every flush of the WC, every running of the tap, every sneeze

Positives first: great location, literally across the street from the beach and only a short walk to the shops and restaurants. The apartments are clean and are nicely furnished

BUT: the rooms are tiny, itsy bitsy teeny weeny! Fine for one person for a couple of nights, not for longer. I have no idea where you would put a second suitcase

The nearest beach is a 10-minute walk away, but due to the steep terrain, you need to be in good physical condition. It's not recommended for wheelchair users. We were thrilled with the complex

A lovely balcony offers a partial sea view. The pool area is lovely, with complimentary sun loungers, towels, and slippers. The owners are incredibly friendly and attentive

The complex is situated on a hill above the main road. A car is essential, as the climb is very strenuous on foot, and there's nothing within walking distance

Breakfast is served at the top of the hotel, same location as the wonderful pool. Breakfast is great, and with a lot of choices and freshly made orange juice, fresh croissants, fruit,… and great cappuccino

Our stay was fantastic. The staff were great.Loved the little beach down the hill. Breakfast was wonderful

Although I believe this is good for preventing waste, I think it is expensive compared to the general cost for meals in the area. Overall, highly recommended!
