Great staff, room, food , and location (right next to Matala beach). We would stay here again!

the hotel is very near to matala beach. The room was in the building behind the parking spots. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The personal were friendly. The breakfast was perfect with everything you need. The only thing: bathroom is small and if you shower, you would have water everywhere in the bathed.But we would recommend this hotel.

I really liked it, we had a front sea view room and it was good. Has a pool but I didn't go in as the beach is right next to it. Location is superb, watch sunset on beach come back get changed so easy. Great breakfast, all the staff were so friendly especially the cleaning lady, amazing, stayed for 3 nights.

We paid 50€/night in October , included breakfast. The overall experience is very good! The facilities are nice ( 4 swimming pools, a gym and common areas), the location is perfect, our room is literally 1minjte away from Matala beach. Our room was big and had a balcony where we could put our clothes to dry. Employees from the hoteL were all friendly and helpful!

Good place, mostly focused on French guests. Good meal, good service, reasonable prices, it is almost directly on the Beach.

Beautiful and relatively peaceful experience. We felt very welcome and at home in the room just by the pool. The pool was great! However, that room had no Wi-Fi reception, the curtains were not occlusive (sunshine at 6am) and the air conditioning along with the fridge were so loud that we had to switch them off for the night. Amazing place. Peaceful, beautiful and extremely good value for money (even with a pool). Basic rooms, but very clean and with nice balconies. We stayed one night and had breakfast. The family running the hotel treated us very kindly

Nice looking little hotel on the old Matala road. Affordable rates and very kind and caring staff. On the downside, unpractical bathrooms, and a quite basic breakfast (ok, it's only 5€). Overall, a nice stay anyway.

Comfortable and chill! The hotel let us enjoy the best of Matala. The cleaning service is very well done, the only pitfalls are the breackfast that is quite repetitive and the pool is closed during nightime. Tip: when walking back to the hotel in the evining, look up, the clean dark sky full of stars is pure awe!

We stayed at the Eva Marina hotel for two weeks. Although it is not a luxury hotel (after all, there are no such hotels in Matala), our stay was very pleasant and we have everything we need. If you are looking for a small hotel right in the town center about 300m from the beach, this is the place for you. It is a 2 star hotel, so don't expect 5 star luxury. The most important clean room and bathroom, it seems to have been recently renovated, super nice staff with an open ear to questions. For me, the location was important to keep distances short and relatively quiet, as well as WiFi.

Nice little family hotel, great location, Good-sized airy rooms, each with a balcony. Our only criticism: the bed was a bit hard for our taste and the breakfast quite minimal ( which was enough for us, we want mostly coffee in the mornings ). If ever back in Matala, we would stay in the same hotel.

Wonderful hotel of a lovely family. If you come every year, you are welcomed and treated almost like a family member. The rooms were freshly renovated last winter. It's perfectly located near the main square.

Potential to be better exploited. Hotel with potential. Large rooms. Firm mattresses, but you can feel the springs. It would be better to have a mattress topper. No hot water 2 days out of 3 around 5 p.m.... Acceptable breakfast. Very nice pool. Quiet.

Clean rooms basic we had no kettle just a fridge but it was only an over night stay so fine nice pool area 5 min walk to matala easily done on the flat breakfast was good continental style maybe there are rooms with better facilities it was a nice place to stay

Pros: the most friendly staff, lovely breakfast, great location, very clean. Cons: bed was hard as a rock, shower was super tiny. Couldn't have the windows open at night as a band playing nearby was crazy loud, so the room was quite warm, we had to ask the front desk for the remote for the Aircon.

Great location, lovely staff and a nice breakfast. Our apartment at the back was okay, clean and big enough for 4.

Amazing hotel to stay at! Mrs. Eleni is a complete sweetheart and helped with anything we needed. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had a mini fridge. Highly recommend staying here it was close to the beach and my family and I had a lovely stay!

Nice small hotel 10 minutes from the center, clean rooms with balcony and comfortable beds, spacious bathroom. There is also a small pool for those who need a change from the salty sea water. Quiet area, parking available at no extra cost.

Lovely small family run hotel and super friendly owners.

I've stayed at this hotel three times. In 2001, 2002 and 2018. It is my favorite hotel on the island of Crete. I like everything there: the rooms, the breakfast, the garden, the hospitality of Olimpios (the owner of the hotel), the swimming pool. Thank you, Armonia for the three wonderful holidays! I'm trying to get there again in September 2022.

Small family-run hotel. Super clean! Very kind and helpful owners. When booking, I suggest asking for a room not under the dining area, otherwise you risk a bit of confusion for those who want to sleep. For dinner, in this case too, I suggest doing it outside because there is no buffet or agreeing it together

Spot clean, cozy, basic good facilities, good breakfast. Very nice and clean pool. Short walk to Matala beach. Matala is a special beautiful place that you don t have to miss in your trip in Crete.Would i came back? Big yes!

Very good AC, and breakfast, bathroom is very limited but managable, very friendly dog (im scared of dogs but wasnt scared of this one very cute), pool area was amazing as well, very clean pool. Very sleepy dog attached for cute purposes.

Tasty breakfast with many options, good location, easy and free parking. The big dog that wanders at the hotel reception can be bit scary but he was calm and obeyed the owner. There was a fridge in the room.

My mom and I have come here 15 years in a row at the beginning of summer. It feely so welcoming seeing the three brothers who one the hotel and most of the staff every year again. Other guests also come back every year. The food is homemade and very delicious. They show a grand variaty of typical greek food, and always a vegetarian option. The rooms are clean and contain everything you need.

We had a wonderfull vacation in a very beautiful bungalow. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. We would certainly return.

Accomodating people. When ac was broken they tried to fix same day and offered (with some prodding) a new room. Very helpful staff and great breakfast. 15m walk to the beach. Stay here.

Good hotel with pool, very friendly staff. Wifi does not work however and walls are extremely thin. Power sockets and electricity were not working properly in the room. Bathroom and shower were great, certainly shortly renovated. Buffet/a la carte choice were a bit limited, breakfast was ok but coffee tasted like water. All in all, ok for one night but I wouldn't spend a whole week there.
