Great place for calm family holidays. The hotel is comfortable and very cozy. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the food is very good. I can recommend this place to all who want to spend nice calm quiet time enjoying beautiful weather

Hotel Melissa was absolutely fantastic! Very quiet, because it wasn't near the noisy center of Matala. The swimming pool wasn't cold even though the weather was still rather cool. The rooms and restaurant were spotlessly clean. The matrasses comfortable. Breakfast abundant and with a lot of choices. The owner very friendly and helpful. We loved the musquito screens, which allowed us to sleep with the balcony door open. We only used the airco for a few hours, but it was working very well. If you have mobility problems ask for a room near the restaurant, so that you don't have to use the stairs that lead to the other rooms.

Room 15 Family type hotel that Marina, her husband and her daughter have run for a long time, very friendly people who made us have a pleasant stay, thank you to you Located 1 km from the center of Matala on a gentle slope which allows a short walk in the evening after dinner Functional room, well cleaned regularly during our 3-week stay Classic breakfast from 8 a.m. Evening meal served at the table on a plate set menu (the menu could be displayed in the morning which would have been a plus) , fresh produce, good cuisine In conclusion, good value for money

I stayed for two weeks and had a very enjoyable time. The rooms were simply built, but always kept clean. Dinner was Greek home cooking with a lot of vegetables and was very delicious. I especially liked the moussaka and soup. The owners and staff were very friendly and I would like to go back again. It was about a 20-minute walk from the hotel to the beach, and the nearest beach, Matala Beach, was very crowded, so I liked Kommo, which was about a 10-minute drive away. Not only was the beach beautiful, but there were few people and I was able to relax.

To flee !!! The meals are shameful, especially dinner (it is not a buffet and no Greek specialty of the stay) an apple or two pieces of watermelon for dessert and the starter several evenings with just green salad alone. The breakfast really wasn't great. No free water during the meal 1€50 per liter and ban on bringing your own water with dinner. The room: the fridge is very noisy, the toilet flush is almost useless, no soundproofing. The housekeepers enter the room at 8:40 in the morning. The welcome is very limited, the manager is not at all smiling and no goodbye at the start of the stay. Very expensive for what it is.

Never again a very dirty place... they don't even change your towels, not even the sheets, poor breakfast, dinner, melon all week, only melon, dust accumulated over the years, broken chairs in the room

Small family-run hotel. Super clean! Very kind and helpful owners. When booking, I suggest asking for a room not under the dining area, otherwise you risk a bit of confusion for those who want to sleep. For dinner, in this case too, I suggest doing it outside because there is no buffet or agreeing it together
