Great hotel. We visited at the very end of season when the season was ending and clearly the locals were gearing down after a busy season, but still the owner and the staff made us feel very welcome. The rooms are immaculate and modern, the pool area is also very nicely organised with comfortable sun beds and seating. Breakfast was great. The hotel is nice and quiet, but very close to the centre of the village. Afitos is a beautiful little village.. Very authentic with a lovely local primary school almost next door. Can't recommend this hotel enough, and hopefully we will be back soon.

We returned once again to Stamos. Very good value, cheapest beer in Afitos still! 😁 rooms are clean, bed is soooo comfortable. Ideally placed for town, which was busier than ever seen it, queues again for some restaurants. We love the atmosphere though, no all inclusives, no big hotels, no noisy bars. All very lovely - and very friendly town. Breakfast at Stamos is excellent, buffet style but lots of choice. Lovely staff, been there for some years which is lovely.

Stayed here for a week in June, wish we could have stopped for 2 weeks! The hotel itself is very well located to the village square and lots of lovely restaurants and bars. The room had lovely a comfortable bed and probably the best shower we have had in Greece (think it had been refitted recently). It was also very clean and the air conditioning was very good as it was very hot! The staff were so friendly from the cleaners to the bar staff. The bar is very reasonably priced and had a snack menu in the daytime. The pool area was also very nice and we never had a problem getting a sun bed. If I was being picky the only thing I would say it could do with a lick of paint on the outside but it certainly wouldn’t put me off staying again.

So amazing. The owner and staff are fantastic, the bed is so comfy and the rooms are clean. The pool beds are comfortable and the pool is clean. Very affordable bar. I have never stayed in a hotel so welcoming and felt instantly comfortable from the minute I arrived to the minute I left. In a fantastic location, I honestly couldn’t think of the tiniest little thing wrong or I would change. Highly recommend

Easter at Aphytos. Clean, good beds, good food, very kind personnel and a beautiful view. We got the best room. Swimmingpool has cold water during april but is clean. Place is small,one church, school, few restaurants, very little beach, if you want to relax is perfect if you want discover to rent a car is must. 70 km from airport with no direct bus is a challange. Weather 14-19 degrees.

Stamos hotel, so friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble.. Low budget hotel but very well maintained and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is better than most low budget hotels plenty of choice, yoghurts fruit, continental cheeses, bakery etc. Spotless cleaning around the pool and the rooms with three bedding changes in one week. The staff go above and beyond for you . Will definitely re visit. Local buses easy to navigate to Kalithea and neo Fokea . Beach a little pebbly , would recommend sea shoes. 10 min walk downhill to beach fairly easy walk. Taxi back if you wish for 6 euro.

Great location to town. The room we had was a family room and the presentation was pretty good having stayed in some more basic rooms in the past when visiting Greece. High quality shower with warm water and pressure. The kitchen area was a bonus with enough equipment to enjoy a cold lunch or snack if required. The beds are very comfortable and it is great to have a separate bedroom for our children to share. Fantastic maid service with them attending daily and the bedding and towels were changed every 2days which felt a little too often to be honest however not a complaint. Great choice at breakfast and the staff are wonderful cannot help enough. Lovely clean pool- however there are NOT enough loungers around it in the shade more sun umbrellas are needed especially when people who have been visiting the hotel for the past 13years seem to believe that they own them and place their towels out at the crack of dawn and then proceed to stay in their rooms for 3hours before using them!! The hotel has a snack bar at lunch times and we often had pizza/ toasties - these are not on the menu however after seeing someone else order this it was a big hit. Afytos is busy in high season with lots of shops and restaurants we did not struggle to eat out though with ate earlier than some.

The hotel is in a fantastic location for the town and the beach. The pool is lovely and warm. Breakfast was fresh and the staff were lovely. Having visited here 2 years ago, the cleaniness of the hotel needs improving. Around the pool and sunbeds wasn't cleaned in 2 weeks we were there, there is dirt all around the pool grill edge. The cleaniness of the rooms and bathroom was poor, floors dirty, cobwebs around, balcony floor dirty. Towels need changing more often we had our towels for the last 5 days. The bar was good but ran out of stock quickly and was not replenished. The snacks started at 11.30 and finished at 3pm which was not long when you have children with you. It would be good if more sunbeds were available for all the guests to use. I hope my comments are addressed and then would look forward to returning in the future.

Great holiday once again at Stamos! Rooms are clean, breakfast choice is good, hot and cold. Friendly staff, and still cheapest beer in Afitos! We’ve been here many times and will be back next year! Afitos is still lovely village, maybe slightly busier this year. A couple of restaurants had queues! Never seen that before.

A bit late with my review , but my partner & I stayed in this beautiful little hotel in June . Small compact and amazing with 18 rooms , spotlessly clean and lovely staff . We had an amazing large balcony with very comfortable basket chairs and cushions overlooking the best pool I have ever been in ! This is the only pool I have EVER been able to just walk down the steps and straight into the water 😃 it’s like walking into a warm bath 😃 The amount of return guests attests to how good this hotel is, just a few minutes walk to the start of a stunning village . I highly recommend this hotel
