The hotel is built in one of the most beautiful villages on the Peninsula – the village of Afitos. The rooms are permeated with a warm, family atmosphere, spacious and functional, equipped with modern comfortable furniture.

Location: 150 metres from athitos centre, 100 m from the bus station, 90 km from Thessaloniki and 70 km from the international airport.

The hotel has 50 rooms.

We had a great stay at the Stratos Hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Halkidiki. The hotel is good value for money and is in an great location in Afitos, just a short walk from the village centre.

The breakfast was included and had a good selection that changed slightly each day, and included lots of traditional homemade options which was a nice touch. All of the staff were friendly, welcoming and always happy to help.

The rooms are fairly basic, but they have everything you need for a comfortable stay, including air con. The hotel was also very clean throughout.

The hotel has a good sized pool with a pool bar serving a good variety of drinks and snacks at reasonable prices.

Overall, this is a great value for money hotel, which we would recommend!

We were a group of 5 and had a great stay at this very cozy hotel. We enjoyed particularly the service and genuine care the staff took of us - it stroke me that although the people running it (all women btw) clearly have years and years of experience, they are still very down to Earth and easily approachable in any circumstance. Thumbs up to that.
Rooms are nice, pool extremely clean, not soaked in chlorine, and bigger than we imagined from looking at photos. We enjoyed very much the bar by the pool and the kindness of the girls working there. Location is great too, basically inside Afytos and just 15 mins from the beach (or 5 mins by car). There was a little corner for kids which helped with entertaining ours for an hour or two every day - great record. Breakfast was good - food quality was high and there was quite some choice considered the number of guests (it's still a medium size hotel not a conference center). We enjoyed particularly the homemade marmalades and other dishes that rotated daily - tasty and authentic. The only cons I can think of, is that olive oil was missing. And when you are in Greece it's sort of disappointing, so we ended up bringing in our own (asked for it the first 2-3 days but didn't feel like asking every day). To be fair, though, we experienced the same at almost every restaurant we have been so it must be due to the increased prices. Perhaps an idea would be to add a small a la carte menu with 3-4 "special dishes" and in this menu have small 50/100 ml bottles too. Surely an hassle to have an "a la carte'" menu but perhaps also a way to monetize. Warm regards to Anastasia and Stella and we hope to return to visit soon. Br, A.

The hotel location is fantastic, no more than 150 metres from the main town area. Car parking is about the same distance at the beginning of the street. Room cleaned really well each day.
We can not thank the staff more, professional, and polite at all time. Always ready to help with any questions you may have.
Breakfast has many choices.
We would be more than happy to stay here again, and would recommend it to others that are looking to stay in this area

I had a wonderful stay at this seaside hotel! The location is perfect – just a few steps from the beach, with breathtaking sea views from the rooms. The staff were very welcoming and always ready to help, which made me feel at home. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and I loved waking up to the sound of the waves every morning. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of fresh options. Overall, it’s the ideal place for a relaxing holiday by the sea, and I would definitely come back again! 🌊✨

Yes hotel stratos never ever dissapoints , rhe staff are all exceptional and very attentive; breafast buffet is great , yes rhey marshall the pool well with the towels on sunbeds and make it as fair as possible , anastasia and stella run it very very well , location is great , and they both where loveley ear rings , cleaners do a splendid job , also try thassos gryos at the top of the road out of the hotel turn left, and lots of bars and restaurants, try imoros. Bar cocktails are great and two loveley sisters run it ! Am i crete at the moment so review will come soon

Stratos Hotel is simply the best! You can really feel the good vibes as soon as you arrive. The people working in the hotel are amazing; all very nice and genuinely smiling and helpful: from the reception, to the breakfast buffet, to the pool bar and the cleaning staff. This makes such a difference during the whole stay!

The hotel is super practical for families, with a relaxed atmosphere! The breakfast, wow! The homemade delicacies that change every day are so good. The staff in the kitchen do wonders and of course you have the necessary selection of products to have a great start for the day.

The location couldn't be better. Right in the heart of Afytos, with the traditional stone-paved streets, numerous tavernas and bars with wonderful view over the sea. Afytos is the perfect base to explore the amazing beaches of Kassandra and Sithonia in Halkidiki, and even try continental Halkdiki with so many interesting places: green oasis in the mountains, the Petralona caves, and so much more.

We absolutely love this place and couldn't recommend it more! That is why we keep coming back year after year. For our family, summertime means Afytos and the Stratos Hotel - it has truly become part of our tradition. We are so grateful to everyone working there for making each stay a dream holiday!

We didn’t know what to expect when we arrived at this hotel .But what a beautiful hotel which is run by Anastasia and her sister Stella . The pictures on the web site didn’t do it justice.The rooms were very nice and very clean . Clean towels and bedding changed every other day by the cleaners who done an excellent job . The pool was a nice size with plenty of sun beds . The pool bar offered a good selection of drinks which was run by Maria and Elvis who also worked in the dining room at breakfast time .It was my husband birthday and a birthday cake was made for him unbeknown to us . What a fantastic place to stay .

Stratos is a lovely hotel set in a fabulous part of afytos just a short walk to plenty of restaurants that are simply fantastic local food is stunning hotel itself really clean pool area very calm with plenty of sunbeds and little bar that has everything you'd need to relax drinks and snacks, room was great to comfy bed with a balcony ours was at back which got the sun in late afternoon ps very hot, breakfast couldn't complain from the fruit to different bread cereal to cheese meats and different hot local food as for staff very friendly and helpful with any questions you have,this was my 2nd only visit to Greece at 57 years old but I'd highly recommend afytos and in particular Stratos for a relaxing beautiful holiday

Another successful, relaxing and delightful stay at "The Stratos Hotel" in the beautiful village of Afitos. The stratos Hotel was everything you could want on a holiday. A very attractive hotel in a beautiful calming shade of blue complete with a very inviting pool with more than enough sunbeds. A pool bar to serve reasonably priced drinks and food and staff that are always on the move taking care of everyones needs. The breakfast is included and I would defy anyone not happy with the choice, there is a warm selection, a healthy fruit selection a sweet selection with a very good choice of breads eg sliced, uncut white, brown, Dutch crispy etc. Cold meats and cheeses and the best honey I've ever tasted as well as top class Greek yoghurt. More than enough to please all appetites. The staff and management are absolutely superb and really can't do enough for you. Anastasia, Stella, Maria and Elvis ( ha ha!) are all beautiful people inside and out. Afitos is a small village and well worth a wander for a nice meal or a drink. There are restaurants to suite all tastes, fish, seafood, pizza, steaks and typical Greek and really good giros. In fact it's a little heaven on earth.
