The hotel is built in one of the most beautiful villages on the Peninsula – the village of Afitos. The rooms are permeated with a warm, family atmosphere, spacious and functional, equipped with modern comfortable furniture.

Location: 150 metres from athitos centre, 100 m from the bus station, 90 km from Thessaloniki and 70 km from the international airport.

Yes hotel stratos never ever dissapoints , rhe staff are all exceptional and very attentive; breafast buffet is great , yes rhey marshall the pool well with the towels on sunbeds and make it as fair as possible , anastasia and stella run it very very well , location is great , and they both where loveley ear rings , cleaners do a splendid job , also try thassos gryos at the top of the road out of the hotel turn left, and lots of bars and restaurants, try imoros. Bar cocktails are great and two loveley sisters run it ! Am i crete at the moment so review will come soon

We didn’t know what to expect when we arrived at this hotel .But what a beautiful hotel which is run by Anastasia and her sister Stella . The pictures on the web site didn’t do it justice.The rooms were very nice and very clean . Clean towels and bedding changed every other day by the cleaners who done an excellent job . The pool was a nice size with plenty of sun beds . The pool bar offered a good selection of drinks which was run by Maria and Elvis who also worked in the dining room at breakfast time .It was my husband birthday and a birthday cake was made for him unbeknown to us . What a fantastic place to stay .

Stratos is a lovely hotel set in a fabulous part of afytos just a short walk to plenty of restaurants that are simply fantastic local food is stunning hotel itself really clean pool area very calm with plenty of sunbeds and little bar that has everything you'd need to relax drinks and snacks, room was great to comfy bed with a balcony ours was at back which got the sun in late afternoon ps very hot, breakfast couldn't complain from the fruit to different bread cereal to cheese meats and different hot local food as for staff very friendly and helpful with any questions you have,this was my 2nd only visit to Greece at 57 years old but I'd highly recommend afytos and in particular Stratos for a relaxing beautiful holiday

Another successful, relaxing and delightful stay at "The Stratos Hotel" in the beautiful village of Afitos. The stratos Hotel was everything you could want on a holiday. A very attractive hotel in a beautiful calming shade of blue complete with a very inviting pool with more than enough sunbeds. A pool bar to serve reasonably priced drinks and food and staff that are always on the move taking care of everyones needs. The breakfast is included and I would defy anyone not happy with the choice, there is a warm selection, a healthy fruit selection a sweet selection with a very good choice of breads eg sliced, uncut white, brown, Dutch crispy etc. Cold meats and cheeses and the best honey I've ever tasted as well as top class Greek yoghurt. More than enough to please all appetites. The staff and management are absolutely superb and really can't do enough for you. Anastasia, Stella, Maria and Elvis ( ha ha!) are all beautiful people inside and out. Afitos is a small village and well worth a wander for a nice meal or a drink. There are restaurants to suite all tastes, fish, seafood, pizza, steaks and typical Greek and really good giros. In fact it's a little heaven on earth.

Returned to the Stratos this year after enjoying the friendly atmosphere last year but were left disappointed.The place just wasn’t the same this year it was a lot less friendly.We even got told off for putting towels on 2 beds whilst we went for breakfast even though every other bed was empty and we had done the same thing every day of our holiday and on last years holiday without any issues.We felt like the Jet2 customers were treated differently to customers from other countries.We weren’t the only ones to think like this and other people that we had met last year also felt the same.We will definitely be back to Afitos but it won’t be at the Stratos.

Have just come back this week from stayjing at the stratos hotel and we had a great holiday and were looked after by anastasia/stella and maria behind the bar the hotel was in the right place for the town of afytos which was amazing,the hotel was really good and the cleaning staff were good as well,can recommend the hotel,the only thing that i feel could improve on i feel is to have another cooked option at breakfast plus a proper coffee machine,but other than that it was well good.

Thank you Anastasia, Stella and the team for another fantastic holiday at Stratos. They always make you feel so welcome So grateful you were able to give us the same room- very comfortable bed, good shower with plenty of hot water, great size balcony. The hotel is lovely and in a great location. 5 minutes to shops/restaurants and 15/20 minutes walk to beach. The cleaning staff work tirelessly to maintain the hotel and keep it spotless. Library is a great asset - I’ve not read so much in years. Nice bar area where food and drinks can be purchased. Great pool area with plenty of sun beds - like the addition of cushions this year. Breakfast - what can I say. Great variety of produce- cold meats, cheeses, fresh fruit, homemade pastries and jams, daily hot food selection. All constantly replenished. Something for everyone. All in all a great holiday and think of the team as friends now. We will return. PS love the lighthouse!

just come back from the Stratos and what an amazing find Stella at the helm and Anastasia making sure everything was perfect all day long i even caught the cleaners wiping down light bulbs and up a ladder cleaning the top of the fridge in the bar such is the cleanliness of this place great place and very personal service nothing was too much trouble cant wait to get back there thanks to all the staff for making it an unbelievable stay

A lovely 2 week stay at the Stratos Hotel. This is a small hotel with swimming pool conveniently located in a nice quiet spot but close enough to everything that Afitos has to offer. All the staff are very efficient , very good choice at breakfast , our room was cleaned well. Air con was included in the price but the safe was an extra charge. We would happily return to this hotel.
